  1. Hey all, probably late to the party, but better late than ever. Ever go through a cutscene on your starship and for some reason the dye color isn't working for other parts of the armor, despite you unifying their colors and the colors for the NPC look fine out of cutscene? If this is annoying to you as it is to me, this is a weird solution I managed to find. First, toggle off the articles of clothing from unify color that you want to work. Take OFF the awkward colored clothing(s) from your NPC. Apply a selected dye for it, that best matches it when it's unified colored, which is often the same dye you use for chestpiece Go on board, and proceed with cutscene (should have them in their underwear), then hit escape to exit the convo. Apply the new armor with that dye back on and proceed with the cutscene. It should work for this cutscene and the rest while on the ship. Yeah it's a bit of a pain in the butt, and it has to be redone usually everytime you go back on the ship. But, if it's something you want to enjoy having a convo with your companion wearing the armor they want, it's doable.
  2. I know this is probably an old bug, I've seen other forums of it dating back to 2014. However, I've tried those fixes. From using the launcher repair, deleting bitraider folder or ending their task in task manager, or re-installing the game or the "Please ensure the client is closed. Press the [Windows] Key + [R] at the same time. (The [Windows] key is the key with the Windows icon on it) Copy the following in to the text box and press ok: %localappdata%\SWTOR\swtor\ Open the settings folder and then open the client_settings.ini file Ensure the following are displayed within, or edit/add if so required: Fullscreen = false D3DFullScreen = false RefreshRate = 60 Save and close the file. Start the game as normal. Change graphic settings within the game as desired." Fix. no result. Every time I hit play, the launcher closes out and the game never loads. I don't know if it was related to the recent update work that was done for it?
  3. *****FIXED***** I copied the old ini from my original computer to this one and go the desired result result
  4. Oh no it's not the graphics card. It's the forced resolution that this game has that's not compatible with the screen. I remember I had this happen with my original computer but there was in fact a method to get around it by changing the a settings.ini which you can change from full screen to non fullscreen. And the resolution.
  5. Yes running as an Administrator. But it still doesn't work.. . Just always starts in full screen. With no input. I can't even alt tab.. Requires a full PC on and off
  6. changed it, but no luck, still starts off in fullscreen with no input. Dang still no luck. Using my other monitor, still doesn't recognize it.
  7. So I put the game on a new comp, but I can't change the resolution setting from in game because everytime it launches it's in fullscreen and at a resolution that I can't play at. I can't even alt enter or alt out. I am forced to reset my entire computer So I searched around on google only to find some help stating you can alter the settings in my appdata/swtor file I've done this, I've changed the resolution in the settings and set it to non fullscreen (Windowed mode) but the game STILL does not acknowledge this. It starts in fullscreen at an unkonwn resolution. Any tips would be great
  8. So it's a force gun? With a saber crystal in it? If that's what's the jedi killer, then more people with guns would probably use that method or force sensitive crystals. Still feels super out of place
  9. Would've thought we could finally get the FxF companion romances with our original class story comps.
  10. I have a feeling it's Tom Kane. He's done various voices for Star wars media, both in game and in other Star wars Media (Clone Wars) He sounds very much like Morgan Freeman. You can see Tom Kane doing a mighty good Morgan Freeman impersonation here, doing Morgan Freeman's character from Shawshank redemption
  11. The Chapter where you are going through the forest, talking to Satele and Marr, feels mainly set up for a force user type. With some similarities to Yoda and Luke on Dagobah. The issue though is that when you are building your weapon at the end, it seems fitted mainly to a force user, as the weapon being built would be a lightsaber. I don't understand some smuggler building some sort of gun that Marr and Satele meditate on could bring Arcann's end.
  12. I notice she has flirt options, but I really haven't tried it. Some have told me, she can start a romance if you either 1. Previously romanced her as your Male agent. 2. Didn't romance her, but play as a Male agent. 3. As long as you play an agent. So can you do GirlxGirl romance with her?
  13. The Dark vs Light Armor with 50% XP. Likely if you add that with the legacy Xp bonuses and guild bonus, is the grind that much faster? Can you basically just properly level through planets without doing FP's/Heroics? just wondering
  14. title says it all.. similar to what EA Battlefront does.
