  1. tBH. I saw ppl talking about this thread and thought I'd give it a bump. But you bring up a valid point. The winner would be the one with the steel chair
  2. I'm sorry but it still does not make sense. The Jedi of the PT era were the best of the best, yet at the end of ROTS there was only two of them left. I mean they failed on an epic scale, really they should be considered worst Jedi ever. So to say TOR Jedi are not as powerful, well if I was aTOR Jedi I would be insulted.
  3. [quote=BrandonSM;5254090 Not like Revan and Malak where Malak was nowhere near Revan in terms of power but he defeated Revan though cheap strategy that took no thought or skill to conduct.' . and sidious need more skill to win his battle with plagueis did he?
  4. sidious beat his master, that must have been some epic battle. with sidious being the strongest sith ever and his master plagueis being the second strongest ever, i can imagine it now 2 warriors crossing lightsibers under a moonlight sky, using the force to dance round eachothers for hours till in the end the stronger sith won. oh wait, sidious killed plagueis while he slept , as he knew he wasn't powerful enough to take him in a head on fight. soudns like he won with superior strategy to me, looks like revan and malik arn't alone
  5. things seem wrong. not sure if it is your interpretation is wrong or if it was badly thought out story to begin with. old republic - 100s if not 1000s of sith and jedi, constantly battling, there is a term widely used by the military "battle hardened", the idea that ppl studying and praying for 1000 years only ever sparing against friendlys would be more powerful, than well trained, heavily tested, battle hardened warriors. is either wrong or bad writing. war makes the darkside stronger (this is what was said in the OP), old republic era is war time. and there are 100s if not 1000s of sith, all drawing off the power of a war fed darkside. jedi are weakened by war yet the jedi are the victors when it coems to the hyperspace war, and the mandalorian war. and we know the end of the swtor story end with the jedi winning. all the sith ever do is win battles. even at this time when the jedi should be at its weakest. hear we are not in PT era, with the most powerful jedi ever excluding luke, 1000 years of peace to meditate and feed off the lightside, this where the jedi should be almost like gods. and the sith only 2 of them weakened from the fact there is no war for the darkside to feed off. (this is why palpatine needed the trade federation war and the clone wars, even still them wars wouldn't compare to sith and jedi in large numbers warring against eatchother) yet this is when the jedi fall. the best of the best almost god like jedi wiped out by 2 sith. again that doesn't make sense, and here is why it doesn't make sense GL wants his jedi and his sith to be the best of the best. and his orders defy logic, ppl can try and bend it to fit the way GL wants it to be, but you can't escape the fact that 9th century vikings were more power than 1960s hippies. i love star wars, and when you just enjoy the story's and dont' try to justify ever little thing and don't listen to what george has to say on the matter its alot more enjoyable, bobo is alive and running around, revan is quite an OP sort of guy. and 10 sith shooting lightening at you is just as scary as sidious shooting lightening at you
  6. oh dear, think we have all been missing one very important point. this 4 person match up, seems very familiar to me, ah yes wrestling. they have these kind of matches all the time in wrestling, and the main reason for having one, is so the weak person that could never stand toe to toe with the OP ppl, can win. so looking at it this way, whoever you think is the weak person, will actually be the winner
  7. i think your wrong, i don't think it belongs in this section at all, but lets just pretend your right and it does. i'm going to guess we all know the difference between moderator and a dev. now look at the thread title. i doubt very much a dev is going to see this thread here.
  8. i can actually understand why ppl are getting their knickers in a twist over this, it would be like taking a spaghetti western, and giving the good cowboys black hats and the bad white, its just not what you expect and it doesn't sit well but its not like some1 has gone out the way to mess with your head, the fact is kun isn't using a red saber because it wasn't part of the established sith aesthetics when kun was created. end of story
  9. there would be no "A new hope" the only star wars we would have would be the PT, star wars be a flop, sci-fi would be set back decades. and star trek would be the only real things nerds have to cling too. in a way its because of Obi-wan that sci-fi is now considered main stream
  10. lucas changes his mind on what happened in the moves more than i change my underwear, and i'm quite a clean person, for me bobo being alive has little to do with bobo himself. i refuse to believe all the new books i read are non-canon before they have even been printed, this is too much of a kick in the teeth. i believe these story's are part of the C-canon Eu star wars universe. i'm sure i will never change your mind on the subject, but at the same time you will never change mine. unless i see a statement from LC on the canon of I.E. FOTJ. i am going to carry on believing i'm am reading the official star wars story
  11. yes yes, contradictions, but as we know bobo being alive wouldn't contradict the movies in anyway, as we didn't see a body or a burial or a sarlac living on into old age. every1 knows bobo fett is the batman of the star wars world, and him living on would be in keeping with the character he is
  12. so the best we can say is, there is much chance of me being right as there is of you
  13. ok i got a challange of my own, find me something directly stating FOTJ is N-canon. direct quotes stating that FOTJ is N-canon, not circumstantial evidence pieced together by some1 trying to prove bobo is dead. but leland chee or george lucas directly saying FOTJ is not C-canon as when things are retconned or downgraded, we are told what they are and whats happening with the canon rating, and why its happening. so this information should be easy to find
  14. my only point is, in a made up story with make believe characters, bobo fett surviving the sarlac is no more stupid than ewoks taking out fully trained stormtroopers, you might not like the way it happened, but at the end of the day your not picking up cheque's from LA so you don't have a say in it. and if it was really N-canon then ppl wouldn't still be writing about him, the fact that he appears in a book written and approved by LA in 2012, should really be an end to the subject, bobo fett lives in the EU LA knows about it and they are cool with it. on a final note to what liquid was saying about george was thinking about putting a scene in where you see bobo crawling out of the sarlac. never say never you always have the 3D remakes to look forward too. god only knows what changes he has planned for that
  15. I know right. Half man half machine super OP big black freak, ruling the galaxy with a withered old man who looks like he could drop dead at any minute, but just so happens to be the most powerful man alive. You got giant slugs as crime bosses, city's floating in the sky nine foot tall monkey bears that fly and fix starships The list could go on. But your right, Fett surviving the Sarlac is just so far fetched
