  1. Ah Tera. It is a fine example of an mmo that so many people pinned their hopes and dreams on, proudly declaring that people would leave SWTOR in droves when it came out. I'll wager people on the WoW forums said the same thing.
  2. I've seen otherwise. Sometimes that is the case and sometimes it isn't. It depends on the company.
  3. I never actually named a number of days and I don't know why I should trust someone I've never met when I've personally witnessed several friends, coworkers and some family members playing a game for hours and days on end, beating it and never picking it up again because they did everything.
  4. Yeah, nothing lasts forever except birth, death and taxes. In the meantime, being in a good guild makes playing an mmorpg a lot more fun.
  5. +1 for this. I always smile and shake my head when I see people talking about GW2 like it's the coming mmorpg messiah. What they say about Diablo 3 is even funnier. It isn't even an mmo. Games like Diablo and The Elder Scrolls series are a lot of fun, but aside from being RPGs, they're a completely different type of game. People will play Diablo 3 for several days, burn through all the content and go back to playing an mmorpg. Let me add that I've been wasting time playing games for several years and I've played all the games mentioned on this thread (except for GW2. I played GW.) when they were the hottest thing.
  6. This is a terrible idea. That would be like being punished for not wanting to watch reruns.
  7. Just make sure you watch out for certain missions where the fighters are shooting at the shuttle you're escorting. They'll knock it down before you can get it to home.
  8. You really don't take any of the credits that your high level character has attained and send it to your alts? I don't know about you, but I've made more credits with my inquisitor than I know what to do with and I didn't use any kind of special strategy to do it. If I don't use it on my alt, it just sits there being used for very little beside the occasional repair. By the way, those people are only working on the quest as part of the event.
  9. We should let this thread die. We've already been told that this is a bug that they're planning to fix.
  10. What kind of a helmet do you have that poor guy wearing?
  11. This game is only failing in the way that I am failing to live for all time like an immortal being would. Mortal jawa is sad now
  12. Please feel free to go play something else.
  13. In the superhero MMOs, the extensive customization is easily one of their biggest features. Star Wars' biggest feature is the attention to the story for each character. Fortunately, Bioware has still given us a nice feature for making sure we can at least wear armor that matches in color. This is an example of how any individual game never has all the best features of all the other games.
  14. Ok guys, I believe we can stop arguing now. It's been made clear that this is a bug that is going to be fixed
  15. I think it was aesthetic choice of his to remove his hair. He made his brow match his scalp .
