  1. My biggest let down was that the end game is gear progression instead of story progression. The latest Flashpoint and Operation are really too hard for me (to the point of just not being fun), but the Black Hole PvE zone is too trivial. This leaves PvP which is just Warzones with no open world content.
  2. I know right? It's so sad when you don't even think a game like this is worth two cheese burgers a month, but it isn't.
  3. While I have not unsubscribed yet, my only reason would be: 1) In its current state, SWTOR is not worth a subscription fee. It is, however, worth playing on a free to play basis. Since you can't get a refund on your subscription, people who have already cancelled are essentially continuing to play as if the game were free to play.
  4. It would be nice to have the homing beacons in game as a Cybertech consumable to sell. These would allow players to summon party members.
  5. 17. Oh! oh! Like implementing server merges, cross-server queues, world PvP, and ranked warzones before all the players enrage and one-shot the the cancel button. I found Hard Mode dungeons to be pointless if you could run Normal EV. Only Lost Island can provide progression beyond those, but it is really too hard for my group. We've tried it a few times, but for us, beating the first two bosses comes down mostly to luck with the boss mechanics providing us with more uptime on the boss, so yeah, the enrage timer is almost always the biggest problem for us.
  6. If you place an Armoring component into any empty Orange shell, you can now RE it. I use the lowest level green Armorings produced by Cybertechs at 2 Desh each. 2 Desh is usually a good trade for 1-2 Zal Alloy and Durasteel.
  7. Conductive flux is 10cr each on the vendor. The other fluxes are cheaper if acquired with the appropriate Scavenging Missions.
  8. As I attempted to explain to people in guild chat, if they just jump down from the ledge accessed via the VIP lounge they will die and infect everyone standing near the cargo storage area. "Space Plague Forever"!!!! Rakghoul DNA anyone?
  9. Mid level mats on my server sell for about 500 credits each, and rare mats are often 1000 credits each. Add in vendor mats and the new GTN fees and you can easily have a base cost between 7000 and 9000 credits to make and sell mid level Blue Armorings, Mods, and Enhancements. Then you are competing against dropped mods, and quest mods, and Heroic purple mods, and commendation mods -- all of which people are quite willing to sell for < 5000 credits. There is no profit in it.
  10. if the buyer is supplying the mats, I'd charge a flat fee of 50K per block of 5 attempts.
  11. Given that you can just buy Recruit gear, II see no reason not to have craftable level 49 mods with expertise on them. They probably should have just stuck recruit level expertise on all the level 49 craftable armor, accessories, Armorings, Mods, and Enhancements. This would make crafted gear viable for entry level PvP which would be kind of nice for ... I dunno .. maybe PvE World Bosses placed in a PvP zone
  12. 5 Augmented items from about 40 tries. That's around 1 million credits worth of materials. I sold a glove for 250k, but had no luck selling a second at that price. Chest, Legs, and Helm can be had from cheaper recipes, so I'll probably not make any more of those. If the other pair of gloves sells in the next week, I might be tempted to make another run of 10 gloves and 10 boots, but I've run the statistics and know that a 10% chance for an augment means that dry runs of 30 or more failed attempts in a row are actually very common. The non-crit pieces aren't even selling at 5k, but I didn't really expect them to. If you stick a low level armoring in those, you can at least RE them for some mats back.
  13. I picked up an Orange quality staff from the GTN last week for a Companion (SCORPIO). It took a Barrel instead of a Hilt. I thought it was a Techstaff, but I'll have to check.
  14. I usually give it to people I see going out of their way to work with the team. Healers are almost always doing that, but also people who guard or peal for others. Tanks with 100k protection. That lone guy defending an objective for a lot longer than anyone wants too. Sometimes I'll give it to someone as a nod doing something against all odds like picking up the Huttball 1v4. There are also times I'll give it to someone due to previous WZs who is obviously trying their hardest, but never seems to pickup MVP votes.
  15. What if you could wager on your team. If you win, you get double the Credits. If you lose, you get nothing. That would satisfy both crowds. People could wager to win big bucks, or not and just take the standard commission.
