  1. Not a bad guide. I will say I use a different spec. I run a 3/7/36 spec, but it differs a bit. This spec also is better on maintaining force. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#201hZbcbZcMfRsrkrfRo.3 The talent points into Subversion allows me to be more aggressive with LS. As far as my rotation CD (hard cast) --> DF --> CT -->Aff. --> FL (3 stack) --> LS --> FL (same) --> LS then FL (3 stack) CD --> DF then when aff. and CT run out i reapply. I try to use reckless with DF and pair polarity shift with FL and LS to get some solid burst in. I will note that I use the timers in parsec. to time my dots. On a dummy im running about 3800.
  2. My biggest in reg. bg is 12340 or close to it lol. Normal death field hits are around 6k to 7k
  3. I am actually fully geared pve and pvp minus my helm which is 65s. I dont run pvp in pve gear.
  4. I honestly dont know. It was a huge group of people off a deathfield. I didnt see the hit which was odd, but I was shocked at the end of the match.

  7. Im using the SA and crit proc. I have tested with the main stat. and im not impressed. With those relics in madness most fights im pulling between 2800 to 3000. I will agree with the pervious post, no support in the tree doesnt help. Although in madness so many dots the better chance to crit. I stack power, crit, and surge, and I refuse to touch alacrity unless its a talent. They have stated that the stat is not working as intended except for healers.
  8. The point of HM and NiM is to be harder and harder as you progress. The goal is for you to develop better skills as a player not give you free loot. Spend the time reading and learning the fights, and learn your own class. Also for those who keep saying 16 man is easier lol. 8 mans are much easier, now there are only a few fights that I will say are a little challenging on 8 man. Overall 16 mans are quite a bit harder.
  9. Honestly beyond what has been stated that force management issues need to be addressed with maddness, I would love to see a mass aff. ability. It would be fun way to spice up maddness and even hybrids (possibly).
  10. Wrong trust me your healers like it and when needed like kitting Raptus it helps alot.
  11. Nibbon's guides are really good and he knows what he is talking about, but his play style will not work for all players. My rotation is quite a bit different. As far specs 5/5/36 and 1/9/36 both have similar numbers when I play with specs. One thing I do want to highlight I would recommend stop side stepping Surging Speed. It actually can be quite helpful in pve and pvp settings. Case in point I am the kitter for Raptus for my 16m HM guild runs and it helps alot. Rotation: (Hard cast) CD --> Aff. --> CT --> DF --> Reck. and Polarity Shift --> FL x 1 or 2 (depends on wrath) --> LS --> FL x 2 or 3 (again wrath). From that point I restart my rotation. Also I would like to point out surge and crit are not ending up being worthless. I have been playing around with a little more crit. and the crit. relic. My normal numbers run about 2700 to 3000 on fights. Granted I am also not min/max quite yet. I have about 6 72 mod and ench. left to go and a main hand. My two cents. To sum up great guide and finally a site that isnt Nox. Edit: I forgot to state that is heavy AOE fights I switch to a hybrid spec. The build is 2/16/28
  12. I havent really posted because to be honest I dont really care either way. I play my sorc. to the best of my ability. With that being said alot of my guildies have been talking about adding a mass affliction to the madness tree or as learned ability. It would really help with spreading dots out and an ability that would really make madness stand out. But eh my 2 cents.
