  1. Wow I work every other saturday and this lands on an off one...I might make it and chit chat with folks for the first time that I've seen around for a while.
  2. Can't speak for ranked but for regs it's a couple of minutes tops for it to pop throughtout the day and night. Most of the time tho, for me at least, during the last month or so its been imp vs imp. Rarely has it been imp vs pub but it does happen. hope this helps
  3. I usually use my op for pvp...the question I have is this:I have nearly all AC at 55 or above. Getting bored with the op and kinda want to pvp with something different. I dont want to use the sin or its mirror (same goes for the op's mirror) I have the most issues with tank types so I kinda leaning that way to learn them more. Most of my toons have not been used in over a year so its starting from scratch with anyone I use. With all the changes I guess I am more asking what and why to use a certain AC...this is coming from a solo player who does not group for the most part, does regs and does not do rank Any feedback would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance
  4. I agree completely. I solo que nearly all the time that I play unless someone is kind enough to invite me...which is rare. I love the guilds that I go up against and/or play with in matches. Every player has their gripes with someone that they play or have played with at some point. Do somethings happen more than others...yes. Are they the ones that bother you the most? maybe. If it is a problem that I have control over and choose not to do anything about, then I live with my choice.

One of the simplest things I think they can do to add a change to all objective based warzones is this...Make the objective at the start of the match begin past the 30 second mark but no later than the 1 minute mark. At a random time in those thirty seconds so it's not stationary time to be planned for. Huttsball spawns with enough time for full team fights. Off nodes are now viable for everyone and making mid optional. I still believe the best team should win the match, but this makes for some new tactics at the start that could/would be interesting.

  7. These threads always peak my interest, maybe because of how I play. Since I've been playing, I pretty much solo. I pvp a majority of the time to level and at 55. Besides the rare times people have invited me to team with them, I pretty much solo que. I know that by hitting the "solo que" option, I may be in a game where we win 600-0, 6-0, 100-0% due to me and the other 7 individuals. I also know that I may be on the opposite end of this. I may lose horribly to the point where the other team does not care about winning, they just care about dragging the game on as long as possible for what ever reason they choose. It may not be fair/correct on the make up of the teams pitted against each other. I understand this as well as a ton of other things that I may or may not agree with but I still choose to hit solo que and pvp. I am only speaking for myself but seeing threads like this over the past 2 yrs, what has been posted on this subject as well as implemented or lack there of, has caused me to believe two things. Either something will change in match making or nothing will. So far I have a greater belief in one than the other and I understand this every time I hit the solo que option.
  8. Someone once posted a video on youtube showing each AC vs stealther and showing the stealther getting "seen" and by what distance. They also showed the detection with and w/o sneak/blackout on...this is the key. Without using blackout/sneak, the stealther was seen (if i recall correctly) by almost all AC at a distance of 4-6 meters. This does not include the snipers "sight beyond sight" skill (i know its not called that, but not sure what it is called...lol) Now when the stealther used their blackout/sneak, they were able to pass through other players (both characters obtaining the same space) except for one or 2 AC without being detected (showed that the stealther was detected at about 1-2 meters).   9. Wish i could but can't...different servers...figure i'll just play the scroundrel more and catch him up to my op and figure/see the difference for myself. Maybe figured it out on the way what and why the difference is...thanks all once again
  10. They both have the same amount of datacrons. If the difference is in the weapon shells (the op having brut while the scoundrel has obroan...162 barrels compared to 158, blaster rifle/vibro compared to blaster pistol/scatter gun), then that means that the scroundrel who is lesser geared in this aspect has the potential to do both lesser and greater damage then the op who has a higher lower end but a lesser cap. I understand potential is not fact...but the possibility is there. Thanks for the replies. I'm just wondering now how much of a disparity it is going to be when the scroundrel is geared like the op and how much higher his damage cap will be compared to his.
  11. My operative is better geared then my scoundrel. The operative is just a few pieces shy of of brut with purp augs. My scoundrel is full obroan with blue augs. The stats for scoundrel, in primary damage, has a wider range with a slightly higher cap...1208-1559 compared to 1320-1554. The scoundrel has 798.8 bonus dmg and the op has 852.1. and their surge is is off by .08 so to me that is a wash. I guess my question is, why is this? I remember back in the day the argument over mirrors who had 2 weapons compared to those who had 1 and the slight difference it caused. Is this the case? I understand that the difference in gear is just a a few % points between brut and obroan but that means when my scoundrel is equally geared as my op, the low and high end of the primary dmg is gonna shift, causing it to be that much greater than the op. Could it be something with my account? Just wondering for those that have both, if they seen the same thing. Both are exactly the same in their skills in the skill tree...the only difference is gear and augs. Edit:my op's cunning is 3137, my scoundrels is 3000...forgot to put that in there
  12. The main reason I play mine is due to that is the toon I have the most fun with. Whether it be that I node guard, plant the bomb 3 feet bhind the people guarding the door, unstealth as someone's passing me the ball after a trap, etc, etc...it is what I like doing when I am truly unsober. And heaven help the rest of my team if the trifecta happens (unsober, bad night at work during my 14 hr shift, and spouse is on a tirade) I may try and flashbang a group of people and try to jump over them as if I am playing checkers. I understand what can happen by hitting "solo queue" and thus I will never complain.
  13. I'm hoping that this is the case so that it frees up 2 points to put some where else. Also I hope that the "any direction back stab" is this way too to free up some more points since the game has no "rag doll" effect in it and you can pretty much back stab people in the face as you run through them. For the sins/shadows reading this...this also works with maul/(pub side name here), no need to be standing behind when you want to use it just go thru them to do so. For those that dont know, "rag doll" effect is basically this: two players/npc's cannot encompass the same space (games with rag doll). So there would be no way to run through another player and perform a move that can only be performed from behind. So hidden strike/maul someone in the forehead today while you are "inside" them.

My 2 cents...1) make the first ball spawn random after the match has already started after the 15-20 sec mark but before 40-45 sec (20 or so secs that the ball can spawn at randomly) that way every AC has a chance to be at mid regardless of the number of speedster on either team. This, to me, will add a totally different strategy to the start of the match since all 16 players should be at or around mid. Second and last idea (if above is not possible or feasible). Make the match into two 6 minute halves with one team at the start of the half getting the ball and the other team getting it in the second round. As far as the no force field for respawn...this to me will lead to suicide by fire to prevent the score.

    Fix exfiltrate bug

    Still happens a lot to me. It is now starting to happen with helpful team mates. So any pull, knockback, or push at the right time will cause it...reported it about 4-5 times in the last week.
