  1. To feel like you must justify why a game has not fail, means the game has failed. Denial is the first symptom, really. Study psychology sometime.

  3. because they keep dumbing down the game. Bioware doesn't understand players dont want a game which spider monkeys can play. Making it easier to obtain better armor or benifits does not make attract gamers. 1.2 should of taught them that. Prepare for another sucking sound because they will lose gamers over this.
  4. Yep, any player that doesnt understand aggro control, needs help moving to avoid dmg, too not know why the group is wiping, either by lack of healing, tanking....is a dumb and weak player. You know there are games like yatzee, its much easier to grasp. A perfect example of why add are only used by those who lack any knowledge or skill of mmo's. We do not need macros, threat meters, combat logs in this game. This game will be ruined like WoW if they do. Macros, dmg meters affect everyone wether you deny it or not.
  5. It seems that a large percentage of dps doesnt group, they only solo. I notice this every night i am on, it takes quite a while to find a couple of them. I also see other healers having the same problem, as there are very few shouts looking for healers or tanks. Majority of groups forming are looking for dps. Either all of the dps solos, or there is a huge population of healers and tanks. Grouping DPS'ers seem like a rare bird. We dont need more soloing dps, we need those that group. Will dual spec help this issue?
  6. In other words she is a super human to be proficient at all of those abilities? Now if you say she is hybidable, a bit good at healing, capable of some dps (but limited since she has spent her most of her training as a medic), and knows how to tiptoe around. Maybe i could buy repecting, if you respect in those 3 trees as combat medic your main focus. If not she is a GOD character, proficient in all three training, and someone whom we are not worthy to be around. This game was not meant for respecs. It was meant for us to chose characters for specific roles. If not, it would of been started with dual spec. If not, there weren't of been a vendor that punishes you for changing spec. The game is balanced to force you into a specific role, if you choose to be have some healing, some dps, some stealt then its your choice, not to be proficient a specific skill set. All that vendor is for, if you make a mistake and need to do a change or two. It lightens the GMs load, from petitions of "I made a mistake". No there shouldn't be any decline of the balance and forced roles.
  7. Have you even played the game? Gearing is insanely hard, requires grouping and reliance of others. Did you buy crafted gear? If you did, then you took the easy way out. If Vanguard is easy, go to Grey Stone, at 38 to get an epic weapon. Come back and tell me that Vanguard is easy.
  8. Vanguard is such a good game. I hear all the time, now new people come from wow and are supriseed how a challenging game which forces grouping, that is an open world no instances is fun. Death penalty isnt too sever, you do lose exp but you can not lose lvls.
  9. I belive because of the lack of open world dungeons, and the need for groups in general. All Heroics can be skipped, and instances don't have to be done. Of course I am lvl 30, and it could change from here, I don't really know. If there were open dungeons and a challenging world, there would be no need for LFD, and such, because it would create a cohesive community. Dual spec, LFD destroys the bases of a MMMRPG. Remember in days past, MMUDS (there was too many to talk about specific game. Remember EQ, DOAC for example all the pain and ******** which forced a reliance of diffent classes, the feel of exploration, the danger of traveling alone. The watering down has created the atmospher we are in today. It has turned games into MMOs, which to me are watere down MMMRPG, games which no longer creates the need for communities, games that are now single player games. People that claim this isn't a real MMO, actually it is. MMOs are now single player games which if you want co op then you can, if not you don't. There are many SPGs that you can simply log in and be Quied for players to play the game together. MMOs have become as such, its a shame there are no longer MMORPGs created today. It's a crying shame.
  10. Exactly. I never have watched a movie, or read a book that the Empire wasn't at war with the republic. Never wasn't huge battles. PVP servers, attacking towns just wouldn't have the same feel to it, I don't think. Of course I have never played a PVP server, but I would like to play, but I can't imagine an attack on a town would be the same feel. Will taking over a town give total controll over it untill it is retaken? Can Empire have full access to vendors and such if the town is over come? If not, it wouldn't be the same feel imo as a war zone.
  11. I think the warzones are a lot of fun, I do it quite often. Saying that, my brother and I had a discussion last night, I actual brought it up, about how cool it it would be if they had a 16 or a 32 or..... player pvp match. With reall objectives and such, it would be so coo, total war. I hope they are thinking about this, and if not working on this then they need to. ------------------------ The Troll

  13. perhaps I play with sucky players, I will note that as I increase in lvl. Maybe soloing will become difficult although I do a lot of heriocs and instances in groups. I dont think I would be classified as a bad healer. I will ask my groups what they think of me and get back to you. I am a combat medic with slit better gear than PVP gear.
  14. I am not trying to say I outdaamge everyone, in every game. I do place in the top positions and get gold in many games. I am happy for him, but it has no bearing really on this issue.
