  1. I really don't mind it. If it's really bad, like 5-0, hey, quicky free valor/comms. Most of the time it's 1-0 though, and that's quite workable. I'd say 50% of those we actually end up winning too. A few of my highest rewarded warzones have come from those.
  2. Some servers had good pvp going, a few of the really imbalanced ones had people camping the republic rez spots. That's good, go hide, the people showing up for super easy rewards will quickly leave when there are none to be had. First, it's brand new(the carrot) so you had everyone out after the new shiney free carrot. That's just the trouble of new. Ilum is currently not dead because of the carrot, and it's the carrot they need to adjust, not caps. The caps are for warzones. Again, ilum = unfair. That's the entire point. The important part is balancing out the carrot for each side so that it's used and active there.
  3. I thought 1 for 1 equality was the point of instanced battlegrounds. Open world pvp is by nature never equal odds. I understand capping totals so that it's functionally usable zone, but I think you can pretty much just expect Ilum = unequal odds, battlegrounds = equaler odds. Ilum was a dead zone pre patch(all zone activity consisted of either cap trading or typing "where are we cap trading?"). The goal with the patch was to make it an active pvp area. You do that with incentives. Incentive one, remove ability to finish the daily there peaceably. Incentive two, more valor. I understand you clearly want it to be less valor than battlegrounds, but it sure looks like that's not the intention. Why are people in that zone? Increased valor. Zone population, no longer 0, goal achieved. Unbalanced, yes, by nature. Warzones are for balanced numbers, Ilum for unbalanced, and it's entirely up to players to decide which they prefer, and if the carrot is tasty enough. No safe rez zone seems simply an accident of design, and is being fixed. Edit: It does seem to me that an offer of a larger carrot for the side with less people would aid in properly rewarding the overwhelmed side while simultaneously helping draw more of that side in.
  4. First of all, you just made up a bunch of medals. Unbeatable, ect. are not medals. It's just something the game seems to say when you get actual medals. I don't think 5k defender exists, or i've never seen anyone get it. Also, 1k and 3k defender are for Alderaan, not voidstar(if voidstar has it, I haven't ever seen it). There's no 50k damage or healing medal. There's no 150k healing/dmg medals. it's 300k. And a tank or a dps won't be getting the 300k healing one, I can't speak to the damage one. There's no 1 kill medal, and no 5 kill medal. Chopman is confused, he is on same side as the OP I believe, OP is not calling for more medals for dps. OP is right about that 5k heal medal, i'm full heal spec'd and decently geared and can only get the 5k single heal medal by popping trinket and being out of combat and critting. At best, healers might manage a 2.5k crit damage medal, but it's not likely(I think I only saw it once, against a lvl 12). I can snipe a KB most matches. I certainly can't 1v1 for the assassin medal. If I ignore healing for half a match, and it goes long enough, and I dot everything that moves, I've managed the 75k damage and 25 kills medals. I also spent an awful lot of time being useless to my team to earn them. 10 kills mostly just means dropping dots on anything that looks like someone else might kill it. I get the 300k healing badge on longer matches when the opposing team is too stupid to target me. Standard match for me when I don't overly whore trying to get medals: 4. 2.5k/5k single heals(out of combat for the 5k). 75k healing. KB if I get lucky on a snipe. I'll get a fifth if i'm a bit frisky with dots and my team actually kills people. Alderaan is nice cause you can defend a point for a few bonus medals.
  5. I always thought the majority of the damage came from the group that head on's you while in the canyon. Now, I do destroy most turrets on the capitol's before going in, but I just do it cause they're there, didn't realize they shoot into the canyon. However, I always found the difference between the shuttle taking a lot or a little damage was killing the fighters that head on at you right as/after that group of 3 comes up from behind and to the right. You know where they come from, so you can start firing right where they'll be, destroy them fast, and then get those 3 that come from behind, pretty much keeps the shuttle mostly intact every time. A huge tip, get that fleet item that lets you power your weapons(noone fires at you in that mission, so you just leave your weapons charged the whole time). Really helps to chew through the enemies.
  6. Confirm? I've done over 20 of them. You get 4. The reward is always the same: Grade 6 Blue quality cloth x 8 Grade 6 Blue quality metal x 8 Grade 6 Purple quality cloth x 4 Grade 6 Purple quality metal x 4 Grade 5 Gift
  7. There's no such thing as a level 6 rich mission. It's a Moderate mission, and is simply mislabeled. You can tell both by price(it's the cost of a moderate mission) as well as reward(the reward is the moderate mission reward). At 400 skill, you do not get grade 6 Bountiful or Rich missions.
  8. You'll get 1-2 when your companion crits a mission. The crit rate on that varies based on how much your companion likes you and the companions skill bonuses. I don't know exact crit rates.
  9. 4 iron from the epic 340 missions.
  10. There are no level 6 bountiful and rich missions.
  11. I'm curious, is she happy with anyone else when they are being evil and killing people. I notice I on Belsavis I get a ton of rep with her for mostly evil stuff. I'm just curious if that's a product of my having gotten her rep up to the 5-6000 range, or if she's just always like that. I seem to recall her throwing hissy fits with most of my evilish decisions on taris.

  13. I get the impression the OP was a consular. Here's the deal, his issue is with that specific quest, not the planet. The class quest for consular takes you to a story zone with groups of multiple silvers and golds. They key that is VERY easy to overlook is that in that room, there are devices to click that will hugely reduce damage taken. It's not obvious at all, but that's what you are supposed to do. Quesh is fine.
  14. That is exactly what happened to us last night. I got in fine with a small female human, but my body type 3 sith friend could find no way to fit through the door.
