  1. This is a common problem. The key is: when you get a mission that says “travel to…”, or “use your ship to…”, you have to travel there the old fashioned way, by your ship. Otherwise it doesn’t trigger.
  2. Sorry, I'm on Star Forge. Maybe post to your server forum. Or join a guild. Or ask on Fleet chat. Good luck!
  3. Sounds like the Sniper class icon. Preferences > Nameplates > Always Show Class Symbol (de-select)
  4. The general consensus is yes, that is the case. I'm pretty sure you will get it, as long as you are subbed on Feb 27. But, play it safe: try the link anyway. No harm in trying. If it says ineligible, not to worry, you'll still get the armor and speeder (around Mar 1 or 2).
  5. You may be out of luck, but ... Maybe it'll end out working anyway, since all of the rewards aren't granted till Mar 1 or 2 (at least that's the way it seems to be worded, and I haven't seen anyone say they've seen the 30-days granted yet). Also, the way the 30-day part is worded, it does appear that you would have had to RAF-link it to someone before you made the account. Did you do so? Or you can try to plead your case through either in-game customer service ticket, or a customer service phone call. This sounds more like the phone call kind of thing. I'm not optimistic about either one of those, but worth a try if all else fails. Good luck!
  6. Sorry, I tried to emulate, but I already have it set up, and if I click it, it assumes I want to change them and asks me to enter a one-time code. I just don't want to risk going any further. So... 1) Here's the link to the EA page on how to set up: https://help.ea.com/en-sg/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-security-key-faqs/ 2) You may try "General Discussion" forum. There's more people who visit there. And if you get Owen Brooks' attention, he is usually extremely helpful. 3) Make sure Flash is enabled? Try a different browser? (yeah, I'm reaching) 4) If it isn't working for you, give customer support a call. This is the kind of stuff they can usually address. Good luck!
  7. Yes. The Masters Datacron allows that. The other two character boosts (to 60 and 65) do not.
  8. BTW, this morning I heard the host of "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" (an awesome NPR comic-quiz show) use the term "meatbag" in reference to Boston Dynamics robots that can open a door. I wasn't aware that HK-47 & KOTOR had made it into pop culture! https://www.npr.org/podcasts/344098539/wait-wait-don-t-tell-me Feb 17, David Duchovny podcast 9:00 mark
  9. Seeing your post in General Discussion, are you sure you want to be asking these questions? OK, being serious... Before SWTOR, there was KOTOR (Knights of the Old Republic). A GREAT original XBOX game (and now compatible with the XBOX ONE!). There's also a PC version you can often pick up for a couple of bucks (steam). Followed by KOTOR II, well loved here, but it has serious shortcomings. The droid is a character in it. As is "the guy in a mask". I'd say even now: stop playing SWTOR and pick up KOTOR. It's that good. And the DNA is so embedded in SWTOR. And if you choose not to, I' guess the wookieepedia synopsis is better than nothing: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_Knights_of_the_Old_Republic Then I'd recommend reading Revan, and Deceived (two The Old Republic novels done as tie-in's to this game).
  10. You are not going to get an answer from the developers, and all you'll get from us is speculation. I'm guessing your "I'm thinking of buying thins", is spend real money to buy CC to spend on "things"? And worried that it shuts down so those items aren't around long? Always a risk, but a small one I think. Personally, I would never spend real money for microtransactions, but that's me.
  11. Yes, droid on fleet, the area between outer rings. Two droids, one on each side (seeker, macrobinocs). But please note (unless they changed this and/or my recall is lacking): You have to do the entire series of macrobinocular missions first, and the last two are H4's. The first can be solo'd, though it is annoying. The second still requires a group to complete due to a puzzle. I have one toon that got stuck there. So you'll have to ask around (or better, guildies) for help.
  12. LOL, you are the only one who caught that key point!** (It's also in the link I posted above) ** actually, for the speeder & armor, you probably do not need to use the code. But I'd do so anyway to play it safe (and the off chance that present subs also get the 30-days). Still have to wait till Mar 1 though.
  13. Here's the link. Terms & conditions are at the bottom. But be warned: they aren't very clear. Thus lots of threads speculating on who gets what, when. But the key one, as stated by others, is that you won't see anything till Mar 1.
  14. As others have mentioned, the T&C’s imply you will NOT get the 30-days, as it is only for “inactive” (unsubbed) for >90 days. But SWTOR promos are notorious for ambiguity and inaccuracies. Small window of hope: they also state all rewards are given on Mar 1. I have NOT seen anyone report the extra 30 days, so I assume that means they are also granted on Mar 1. So maybe a whole bunch of subs will be surprised (but don’t count on it). I actually have three(!) accounts, 2 presently unsubbed (both over 90 days). This weekend, I plan to RAF link, use the code, and actually sub one of them. I’ll report back what I see. But again, likely nothing till Mar 1 (too late for others to act on).
