  1. This tag usually gets applied when someone actively defends negative aspects of the game as something acceptable. If all you did was post something that you enjoyed about the game, others may disagree but won't tag you with these titles.
  2. Sounds like you just need to remove general chat from your window. You can also probably remove a large number of people from your ignore list that are no longer around. Anyone you block for selling credits will be banned at some point, so no reason to keep them on ignore for long.
  3. This post isn't helpful on the current topic. People want music in game and at character selection, but they want the music volume to be normalized to what is in game and some people would prefer alternate music from the game to play on character select. Turning down the music because it is loud at character select makes it too low in game, so it would be a constant change when logging out and in. Suggesting they play their own music isn't an option as they want the music from the game, they only want to change the music on one specific screen.
  4. Shouldn't it just be impossible to change all gear in warzones/arenas?
  5. People always want whatever they aren't playing nerfed. No reason to change anything in ranked when the meta hasn't even started to form.
  6. PvP seems fine to me, in regs anyway. First game back after not PvPing in months in whatever gear I found after hitting 75 as a Vengeance Jugg. I don't think gear is a major gap right now.
  7. How does this positively impact gameplay? It's essentially a credit sink on a timer. You pay the cost of crew missions and wait for them to get the mats then wait for them to combine the stuff into whatever you wanted. The extent of your involvement is clicking in the crew skill window. You could obtain the same experience by having a vendor that you visit twice who makes you wait for them to be done and charges you the same cost.
  8. They're not entirely wrong, but certainly not right. Just because things can be done solo, doesn't mean it isn't ok for doing it in a group to be faster or more rewarding. It's an incentive to group with other players and not a mandate. Crafting has always been garbage in SWTOR. Crafting should take time, although it shouldn't be tedious. The fact that companions really do all the crafting is the problem in SWTOR and so there really is no market for anything. You don't have to actively participate and anyone can send companions off on missions to craft their own stuff. This update didn't actually fix that and just made the garbage system even more complex, so worse overall.
  9. I think most of the complaints are valid after looking into the complaints myself. Generally scaling of content being poor in some areas with a splash of people complaining about mobs taking longer to kill. I personally like the slight increase in time to do things, but most of the complaints have been valid, especially in regards to older content. Telling people to group for content that is no longer relevant when it was previously easily completable solo is just trolling at this point. Good luck finding someone to help with Heroic Star Fortress to get the companions.
  10. The forums are in no way representative of the player base in general. People with time on their hands at work or a particular reason to vent. 99% of players don't even know they exist and so I draw no conclusions from the comments here beyond the individual.
  11. That's a bold statement. IIRC BW nerfed veteran SF specifically to make them soloable by basically everyone shortly after release. Doing them alone was certainly a fun challenge, but after the changes it was extremely easy. It's also meant to be completed far before 70-75 content, so if it isn't being scaled properly than it is broken in the content cycle.
  12. Could be a gear thing, but I attempted the same one in 270/274 with no buffs and my companion could not heal through me fighting the 2 elites in one of the final rooms. And I got the One for All achievement pre-nerf on the same character, so I'm not total garbage at this game. It certainly seems tough to solo considering it is required for story progression, but I don't know the impact of the buffs.
  13. There has been no increase in credit seller activity that I've noticed and even if there was it would be expected with a new expansion out. People are always looking for a way to get to the end of the expansion as soon as possible. People are just using this narrative of credit sellers as a way to justify increased in game costs rather than the rate limiter for progression that it's meant to be. BW wants you to play longer and to make content last longer, so if it takes you more credits to do what you would otherwise do then that is more time that you spend in game earning credits.
  14. This seems like a bit of an overstatement. If anyone 4v1s then it isn't the class, it's the low skill of the opponents. No class is outdamaging others by 4 times and livinig through 4 people damaging them.
  15. Because clearly the people in charge of creating future story content moonlight on the QA team...
