Jedi Knight feels the presence of "Buddhism" within his soul (yes, the jedi religion was done after Buddhism) and lets him go free, but only after giving him half of your credits and letting him **** you in the a** because you need the points for gear. You might as well LITERALLY have blue and pink carebears in place of the Republic. Republic storylines are nothing but a giant carebear sausage fest. I've cancelled because I have no interest in playing the imperial side, and after seeing the jedi stories it's obvious how I feel about them as well.

And that is why this will never happen, it'd require a complete redo of all the storylines.....and that's not happening. I already cancelled this POS game.

Bioware completely overdid the Buddhism (Yes, the jedi religion was literally made to mimic the Buddhism religion) It's completely carebear, you might as well actually have pink and blue carebears in place of them in the storyline. I tried playing republic, I couldn't stand it. I went to the sith because the storylines weren't so absolutely ridiculous. I'm all for being a champion of good and vanquishing evil... vanquishing, not letting the evil go with my blessing after I give him half my credits and let him fk me in the a** because I'm gonna be a goodie2shoe and require my lightside points

For me the world just feels lifeless and doesn't seem to pull me in. I haven't played in a week and I don't miss it at all. Needless to say I won't be re-subbing. And yes, I love BW and the KOTOR series, not sure how they messed this one up. PvP sucks, nothing but a giant CC sausage fest WAY TOO much instancing. I'll be waiting for Diablo III and ganking (PvPing) in the firelands with my free time.

You know, I have an SI at lvl 21, a Knight at 24 and a Jug at 32 and while I agree with you that the world feels empty it's definitely not difficulty level for me, I burn through mobs but.. I also find myself not being able to be logged in for more than 15 minutes at a time. No idea why, I could play wow for hours on end, once I hit 30 on my jug I literally had to FORCE myself to play the game, it's just not as much fun, I doubt I'll be renewing my sub. It sucks because I had such high hopes for this game, but hell if you don't enjoy it what's the point?

Hello, I'm considering making a dark jedi consular and I'm curious if anyone know whether or not the storyline options change as you go into the dark side? The light side stories as far as I can tell from playing the knight are stupidly cliche and extremely overdone with the whole Buddhism thing. I'm hoping the dialogue options change a little as you're pulled into the dark side? Can anyone give me some insight on whether or not this happens?

I doubt the game will fail. Though I won't be subbing because I just don't feel the experience is worth 15 a month, to be honest I'd rather go back to WOW. I'll just wait for D3 though. I love BW but my god, they need to learn how to make an MMO.

I'm in the same boat as you I'm afraid. I rolled a juggernaut. Cancelled my sub last night, a shame really because I love the star wars universe and hate throwing 60 dollars in the trash. Too much CC in PvP makes it an absolute joke, I spent 95% of my time (literally) CCd or slowed and can't do anything. And there's a strange lag with everything. Thinking about it some more, I'd have to agree with you on the world, it really does feel bland. Doesn't feel like an MMO at all, too many instance shards I guess. Here's to hoping BW will fix a lot of the dislikes for me, but I won't hold my breath.

You're nuts. I already cancelled my sub because pvp is so freakin aweful as a juggernaut! *shudders* I guess at least you have the wisdom to stay away from it in pvp. so... uhm, that kind of removes the challenge don't you think?

I applaud them for this. It makes me happier to invest time and money into this game. Social community is what makes an MMO thrive, and I'm enjoying having to get to know my server. Whereas otherwise 90% of the folks would just be afk in the cities sitting in queue and we'd never get to know them. Just.. like.. what.. happened... in.. wow..

I doubt you'll be able to tank as a sentinel. You don't have the form that increases threat output or taunt. Now I have a juggernaut that is spec'd into Vengeance (not the tank tree) and I'm doing fine tanking at lvl 20. All I do is hop into the +threat form and use the correct abilities.

I love the game right now. I'd rather not have to DL a bunch of ******** macros. I can heal fine without them, I like having it the way it is.. Maybe you should go back to WOW?

My advice to you, pick a server that isn't completely overloaded. But that's just my advice.
