  1. Yeha perhaps you're right. It sounds like PvE its fine, PvP its not. I can't really argue for PvP, I haven't done it in ages, but all I know is I smoke PvE without breaking a sweat, each and every op I go on. I'm just looking at this issue from the OPs question revolving around ops.
  2. I'm really not talking about PvP. I'm talking strictly PvE. Commandos do have lower numbers overall if you look at raw numbers, but really that's a different mechanical problem at work. In Ops, I really don't see a problem, and I am way more reliable when I heal as a Commando than I am as a Scoundrel or Sage.
  3. While a buffed Kolto Bomb is a nice idea, I don't feel it necessary since I don't feel we are gimped. I have played all 3 healer types in Ops, and I prefer the Commando. I can handle all Ops situations easily. You have to pepper your heals around, but your heals are generally fast and steady. I rarely have to worry about ammo, and you have the ability to dish out heals during emergencies. The same can be said of the Scoundrel/Operative, but burst healing can easily drain you if you aren't careful. Sage/Inquisitor has a nice pool at their disposal, but you can't deal with emergency bursts as effectively. Looking at all the tools at your disposal, you'd think the Commando/Mercenary is the worst option, but in practice from my perspective, burst heals can be very important, and that's where they shine. I haven't had much problem keeping groups in Ops up, and if it ever got that bad, chances are the group isn't following through with a good strategy. That, or gear isn't up to snuff yet.
  4. My Commando Healer can main heal for Hard Mode Denova with ease, and I've taken down Kephess. That being said, I find healing with my Sage harder in the same op due to Noble Sacrifice being necessary at times, and if you are in range of raid damage, that can easily mess you up in a heartbeat. The Commando doesn't have that issue if you really understand your timing and ammo management. And I party with a guy who heals as a Scoundrel for Hard Mode Denova with me. Point being - they're all viable, and each one has their limitations. The one I end up trusting the least is the Sage, after having played one and played with them, since their best ability relies on people being able to stay in range of a non-moving area. Suffice to say, this is not always possible. The other downside to Sage healing is they can't cleanse the debuff on the final encounter in Lost Island, but you can get that gear other ways. My favorite is Commando, and I love having a Scoundrel in the mix.
  5. How about we get some free server transfer services going for the time being? Give some of us who jumped in during early access the ability to migrate to less populated serversand even things out? I would love to jump to a light/standard server, but not willing to reroll from level 23. I''m sure I''m not the only one. Probably not going to happen, but one can dream right?
