  1. Our group has run and cleared cheevos for kills on Corellia, Section X, Rishi, Tatooine We usually have no more than 6 on, so we have plenty of room. If we had 8-10 showing up Saturday nights this would go very quickly. Again, 9pm PST Saturdays for an hour. Sometimes if people are up for it we go up to 2. Anyone else interested please mail me IN GAME on Obim, pubside. I almost never sign in here anymore... You don't have to attend every week, just looking for people to help sometimes and speed this up
  2. We fully intend to raid bases to kill champ NPCs and turrets eventually as well, should anyone be interested in farming those later.
  3. If interested, will be Saturday night 9pm PST. Our mains are pubs so we'll be farming a few imp alts for kills. So far its just a small group of 3-5 people. If we can get a few more that would be great. We did Corellia this past Saturday, and we plan to run through other planets. I'm only asking for 1-2 hours of your time, so if you need the cheevos and are typically around Saturdays, msg me in game on Obim, pubside.
  4. I feel like voicing some thoughts before I leave, curious how many others are too, that's why. Its not just GC, if you bothered to read my post. Not being sarcastic either just honest. The end.
  5. Purpose of this thread is pretty self explanatory (forgive me if there is another one of these recently) I have been continuously subbed since launch. After over 5 years, today is my last day. I may opt to put in a little time as preferred down the road, but I just cannot support the game anymore. I have, no joke, 535 days of playtime across all my toons (anyone reading this that doesn't know, do /played in game on a character). I suspect the number of people that have been logged in that much can probably be counted on one hand. So, I'm not a crybaby, I've loved this game. Not anymore. Ultimately, I do not believe 5.2 will bring our group content friends back, lots of neglected bugs, tired of seeing bots in game that are never dealt with (names I have been reporting for a year are still on freaking Yavin), GC is a disaster that few want, and class balance that is awful. If you want more thoughts/reasons feel free to read my post in this trhead, its right below the original post... http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=9222064 Please, asking respectfully not to debate me, just wanted to give others that are as frustrated as me to have a place to sound off before leaving. If you aren't signing, please respectfully move on. As I mentioned in the linked thread above, as a paying customer I am very unhappy with the studio. There is a real feeling of disconnect between player base and studio, and Musco, that's your fault. That disconnect has been present for years. The entire studio is responsible for this mess, so sorry to sound like I'm singling you out. When you have someone that rarely posts in the forums, and that person has paid you for 5 years uninterrupted, and put in thousands of hours of gameplay, and takes the time to call you out... well I hope you can appreciate that I am not a troll, but a very dissatisfied loyal customer. You guys aren't listening to us, you're on the wrong track. Signed. Obim, Harbinger. "You have 0 days of subscription play time remaining." #Repeal&ReplaceGC
  6. Exactly my problem. If we had a complete operation, warzone, and flashpoint coming out by Summer, I'd stick this out. We're not getting enough content that people will come back to this game. Remember how busy the game was when people were checking out 4.0? Then poof, populations plummeted as there was no reason to sub month to month. There was a spike with DvL, but within 2 weeks of that launching populations bottomed out again. 5.0 did very little, the MMO/Group communities didn't care by then, more of the same.
  7. Yet another frustration I have... I've been reporting the same gold farming bots since early 2016, and they are still there, running around Yavin on Harbinger. I must have 10 tickets with specific names, including alt codes... In PVP instances, I used to be able to glitch them by killing their companions on stairs outside the Temple entrance, and they would sit their idle for hours. They adapted. Nothing is ever done about them.
  8. I really, really don't like putting anything that is not constructive on the boards. That said, its too late folks. The community wants non-rng gear back, but the studio won't do it. If they did that and you know had group content released over the past 2 years, what's left of the group content communities would not be unsubscribing. 1 operations boss is not going to make this game fun again. Nobody is going to come back to this game for 5.2. Maybe once the entire operation unfolds, and RNG has been eliminated or at least made a lot less RNG, some folks we know and have enjoyed playing with will return (even then, still going to take a lot for me to fork over my income again to this game). Between now and then, guilds will continue to thin out, PVP/PVE group pops will slow, under populated servers will continue to be that way, and the game will suffer. The studio has ALWAYS been very slow to respond. I'm not waiting any more. I already made a rant post last week, and this is in danger of becoming another one. Whomever decided to skip operations for 2 years should be fired. Period. I'm gone 2/7/17, the end. Eric, should you read this, I care about the game. Really I do, or I would not complain. Regardless of what you are told to say, the entire studio is responsible for the mess this game is in now. All of you. I'm encouraging what's left of my guild to stop paying money for this game.
  9. DanNV I saw your thread yesterday, and I agree with your thoughts as well. The 5.0 gearing system is a disaster. Its so complicated! The token vendors before were just fine. Commendations needed reworking or scrapping, but cxp should be scrapped. That said I was still holding out hope for an announcement of significant group content that would bring back people I know to the game, both in guild and out. This isn't even a 'go make new friends' situation, the subs are gone and the quality of player in GF or Warzones now is sad. The MMO players left in this game would love to go back to the way gearing was before. Of course there are ways to improve/change it, but I have yet to meet someone that thinks this system is good. I heard today they are looking at ways to change it, but in reality it will make it MORE convoluted.
  10. After today's stream... here is my take, and some other random thoughts. Hopefully this comes off without sounding too bitter. I was hoping we would get a much bigger content announcement, say for Summer. A complete operation, warzone, gsf map. So much has been neglected, in addition to the mess that is 5.0/cxp. I've paid for this game for 5 years. GM of a medium/large sized (well, small in activity now) guild on Harbinger. Probably a years worth of gameplay if I add up my alts (my main is something like 200 days). Sadly, I cannot support this game anymore. I've loved this game, but I am disappointed with the studio if I'm being polite. Kudos for finally trying to do something about group content, but group content should never have been neglected like this to begin with... I have very low expectations for daily areas, especially after Ziost which was a graveyard in less than a month after it came out. New story is good for those players, but frankly I haven't enjoyed the story since SoR. The chapter stories are not my cup of tea, both in mode and content. New operation is 2 years too late. 1 boss will not bring back guilds to life, and that's really what I (and many other dead guilds) need to continue to have fun. Its just not enough to make daily players come back so GSF or PVP is healthy on most servers, nor guilds to have people login daily to 'do stuff.' I fully appreciate that this takes time, and maybe better than holding off until late 2017, but in the end the interaction with other players having fun is what keeps paid subscribers around. Most guilds need a large content update to get people subscribed again, to do things. Of course this is just my opinion, 5.2 won't do that. Obviously the other issues with cxp/bug fixing/class balance should be addressed... After 5 years, bug fixes and class balance really aren't even worth talking about at this point. That's a sad thing. Ultimately I'm most frustrated with the studio's lack of communication with their player base. The class rep system should have been a priority, so there were at least a handful of high level paying players interacting directly with the community manager. Sorry Musco, nothing personal, but I would grade you an F as a community manager. No offense, its just how I feel as a paying customer. There are SO many things in this game that are neglected for months and in some cases years, without a word of input from you. Yes I've seen Snave's interviews and I heard your policy of 'well if there's nothing to announce I'd rather not comment until I actually have something confirmed' (paraphrasing), but when years pass and so many things are ignored we feel like you don't care. I'm sure you do care, and maybe you are limited by someone else such as Ben or someone 'in corporate'. In which case they deserve credit for the what I expect to be a continually dwindling subscriber base. Doesn't change how I and many others feel/felt about the state of this game and the lack of communication with your player base. I've loved 5 years of PVP, raiding, cheevo grinding, playing original class stories. It may be just a game, but its given me a lot of fond memories. Sub is done 2/7, I'll not be back. Thank you.
  11. Signed. I removed my credit card when the first details of the expansion came out. I'm GM of a medium-large sized guild (well, used to be a busy guild), been subbed since launch. I have a month and half to go. You can count the number of players that have more game hours than me, I suspect on one hand. I've loved this game since launch, but I can no longer support it. PVP has been in an awful state for a long time, due to lack of content and class fixes that should take weeks, not months or over a year (i.e. smash). Regs are filled with people that don't get better. Ranked is filled with queue syncers, quitters, and exploiters. Reporting them doesn't seem to help much. Musco can claim they are acting, but they same guys are seen over and over. PVE all the friends I've played with are gone. Difficult to find anyone to raid or group with. I'd make new friends as people suggest, except the only ones grouping are in really bad guilds that have no idea how to play classes or learn/follow mechanics. No new raids, and at this point I doubt an announcement of one will bring people back. Few people I know came back for this expansion, and the RNG gearing is not well received. Game is full of bots, exploiters, and an inflated economy as a result. I've been reporting the same bots on Yavin, on Harbinger, for almost a year. Same bots are still there. Probably a dozen tickets. Emailed them to Musco. Nothing. I've tried reaching out and contacting known staff at the studio to voice concerns over the past year. Not that they should respond to every email, but its disheartening that there is a general disconnect and should you actually try to contact them directly, nothing but crickets. I've seen Musco on Snave's streams state he decided not to really comment on issues if all he can say is 'we're aware of the situation,' instead of posting something constructive. I disagree with this policy, the community feels neglected and is why your PVP community and raiders have all quit the game. I have nothing personal against Musco, but really I feel he does an awful job. Why is it he can't post in certain sub forums for YEARS? I mean, he's not coding, what exactly is he doing over there for 40+ hours a week? Tough to comment on the rest of the studio, are they hampered by EA, or are they just as incompetent as people on the forums feel they are? Or perhaps a combination, who knows... So yeah, signed and its a shame this game never is what is should have been... Its a simple formula guys, create GOOD replayable group content a couple times a year, create new PVP maps, give back ranked 8v8 for that percentage who wants to actually do that, make class balance fixes/changes in weeks instead of months, mix in a new event once in awhile and people will play. This is an MMO, and your lack of communication with the player base is why threads like this exist. That probably sums up all of our frustrations, communication... its bad. </endtangent>
  12. Shao go away, there are enough juggs on this server that I have to wait for CDs to expire... and wait, and wait, and wait How you doing?
  13. After reading the note about stockpiling comms I did just that. 500k comms are now bound to primarily 3 of my characters... instead of 25 mil creds, I will get 6. Being the GM of a medium sized guild for a couple years, subbed since launch, active PVE and PVPer... I've had enough. I deleted my credit card and have a few months left of paid time. After which I will not support or play this game, any more. The studio makes bad decision after bad decision, and this was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. For them to say "oh feel free to stockpile up your comms" and then screw over those that did a day later, is neither a mistake nor questionable. Its deceitful and duplicitous. The studio clearly lacks competent staff based on what's happened with the game the past 2 years, but this is a whole other problem. All the success this game SHOULD have is hampered by a studio that does not properly communicate with its communities, slow/lack of development of replayable content, slow/lack of bug fixes and performance enhancements, and now this... I quit, the end.
  14. I'm pretty pissed about this. I know they'll fix it, but I busted *** to get everything done so when Chapter 16 dropped I could be the or one of the first to claim 100%. I still will of course but that was a LOT of work just to be delayed by yet another bug.
  15. Confirmed, same bug. I show Flashpoint Master as Complete, but I see the same thing as you. As a result, I am at 87% done instead of 100% :\
