I saw a White Twi-lek running around I heard the Twi-Lek will change color depending on if you go darkside alignment? ie Dark 1,2,3,4,5? is this true? and what colors change? ie. Blue turns white? red turns pink etc?

Keep in mind they are placing entire guilds on servers. So they have been trying to make servers even as possible with known Repulic/Alliance. Unlike an open door where everyone just pours in and servers have to be shuffled later to compensate for an un-balance.

They announced they just finished the third wave on Facebook and many people have posted they are mid sept. So looks like they could be well into Oct maybe even very early nov by the end of the 4th wave. Hopefully they have a bonus wave like yesterday too =D

Hmm I was playing on a 5770 1gig I dunno I think they are about the same. I dont recall my FPS but I do recall weird lag on the keyboard commands to open bags and stuff. but for the most part the game, combat travelling etc ran well. IO also learned recently that MMO's really aren't so much about the RAM and the video card anymore as they are about the processor power.I doubled the graphics and RAM requirements in RIFT had super fast highspeed net. But I only met the suggested Processor reaquirments I think it was 2.0Gz and I was 2.1 I would run fine in all zones excpet when we raided it went to ****.

True . I have not gotten in yet but heck its still 2 days ... wait one now before the early release was even scheduled. I am all about the trickle effect, it allows them to monitor the servers. Doesn't creat insanse que times and lastly your not waiting around for a shrub or a frog to spawn to pick or kill because there is 12000 people all in a noob zone haha

I think they said it sucked too cause they had to drink coffee to stay awake all night. I don't believe energy drinks were even invented way back then haha

So anyone remember way back just before Sony bought out Verant in Everquest one? The guys in Verant told this story about either an expansion release, or a server crash possibly? I'm a bit grey it was so many years ago. But apparently it was only a handful of guys working like 4am in the server room. The servers were so hot but they worked all night in their undershirts and boxers just to get the game running for everyone. I think the power was out in California or something so the Air conditioners were down. Just thought it was a funny story and I was reminded of it from seeing all these rants and flames about the launch here. Makes me curious how many servers, and how much man power EA/Bioware has going here and if they are working 24/7!

I would give them a C .... Its an MMO they should be trickling in people 24/7 especially since people play in multiple times zones. I say trickle not mass groups, because many may be at school or work and will all of a sudden see a server peak even though more people have not been let on. With so many pre-orders I don't blame them for staggering the pre-order people it allows them to monitor server stability. Although with EA and BW's resources c'mon they could have had much more staff working over time, maybe more servers ready to go etc? LOL I recall wayyyyy back when playing EQ I think before Sony bought Verant one of the guys saying there was only 2 of them working in this server room in their boxers and undershirts at 100 degrees at like 4 am! Trying to get one of the expansions running or a server crash fixed or something! That is dedication! C'mon Technology and the amount of man power has greatly increased shape up EA! P.S. an estimated list would have been nice? like july to aug day 1? etc so people can get a rough idea what day they will get in?

I was hacked in EQ 1 like 14 years ago, WoW, EQ 2, and most recently RIFT. If These authenticators work and only cost 7$ It would be nice to include them in every store copy. Also make every Digital download require phone access. I really hate gold farmers especially when they send you tells 10x a day. I swear in RIFT my ignore list must have been 100000 long! I ordered one its 7$ its like the cost of a pack of smokes or a Happy meal!

Does this game have Mechanics? I played Beta weekend but only hit level 15 So only ran one instance. Basically we just zerged it! the only mechanics we used was a healer if ya can even call it that. I like the variance in classes and originality. But will those come into play for raiding and higher instances? Utilizing a Tank/ranged/crowd control, debuffing/healing. Then actual game mechanics like moving from AoE's, turning away from blind flashes etc? I didn't really see much of anything like I said i only hit 15 and I knw there is much more gamer than that.
