I'm a returning player (just re-subbed). I see that there is a new expansion out. All of my characters are low (the highest level is 28). I'd like to buy the new expansion, but was wondering if it would be a waste of money since my toons are not high level. So, is there anything in the new expansion for low level toons? Thanks!

I have the same problem. A Tython quest I have where I have to kill 15 Flesh Raider Adepts won't let me abandon it. I can't get back in the instance where the quest is because it was part of my class quest (which I completed). However, I only killed 14 out of 15 Flesh Raiders in the instance and didn't notice when I left the instance. Now, I can't abandon the quest and I can't reset the instance. I turned in a bug report. I hope a GM can just delete it from my log book 'cause I'm too high a level now for the quest to even matter. I just want it out of my log book. But, both the reset and abandon buttons are grayed out. Ugh.

I think the OP made some valid points. However, the majority of them (except the first one about starships, which is absolutely correct and the one about there being no LFG tool) are subjective to the player. I love the game, don't plan on unsubbing any time in the near future. Unfortunately for the OP, it wasn't his cup of tea. And, to be honest, his post here just may help others that don't really understand the type of game SWTOR is make a better informed decision. His point about starships is spot on. There is no embellishment here. In the missions, the starship is on rails. 17 planets, yes. More to come. While I've played, I've noticed that planet's questing areas do get larger. But, this is subjective unless BW wants to share some info. No flying mounts, so what? True point, not a lie, but not a game-breaker for me. Again, subjective to the player. Character a wimp without a companion? Well, perhaps, but this depends on your playstayle and skill, I would assume. Subjective, but I look at the companion as an extension of the character, not an 'extra' unneeded thing. All characters looks alike? Again, subjective, but one of the biggest complaints is that there are limited character creation options. No argument here from me but, again, this is subjective. Voice acting gets old? Not to me. I love the voice acting and I'm in no rush. Others may want to quickly get through it all, though. Subjective. So, what the OP posted isn't outright lies as some have claimed. They're just subjective points made from his point of view. People with similar playstyles and tastes will find that information useful, I guess, but don't say the OP is outright lying just because you don't agree. Again, I love the game, I think it's awesome and I can't wait to get off work so I can play more tonight. But, I'm not going to flame someone because their opinion is different from mine. This guy made valid points, just worded them in an inflammatory way, I guess. But, then again, on this board I've noticed that even well thought out posts can get flamed simply because they have some concerns about the game.

I haven't played any SWTOR, yet. But, from what I understand, you mostly play by yourself up until level 10 and then head to the fleet? If this is the case, do I just tell my buddy to do his story quests until he hits level 10 then meet me in the fleet so we can start adventuring together? Or, can my buddy (who is a smuggler) come help me with me beginning Jedi Knight quests, even though he starts out on another planet? Thanks for any info!
