  1. I'll take you up on that. I have this Wednesday off (the 22nd), as well as the 20th (Monday) (meaning that at 5 PM your time, I'll most definitely be around to play. My time zone is GMT - 5:00. My Steam ID is Almainyny, and I have a mic so that we can talk over skype, if you so desire. I will be playing a Telekinetics spec'd Sage, while using field respec to switch to heals as necessary.
  2. True, and that tank left out one crucial detail: we were supposed to stand behind the boss, which we didn't do. That said, I ran it again today with the same strat (in this case, we stood behind the boss as he tanked him in the cave), and did just fine. I also did it with another group doing it the normal way and had no issues healing. So I guess he just wanted to not deal with the adds.
  3. Had a somewhat interesting run of Storymode Ahiss yesterday. Group was myself (Healer Sorc), DPS Assassin, some type of Imperial Agent, and a Tank Powertech. Everything was going smoothly until we hit the Beast of Vodal Kressh, The PT says, "You guys know the cave trick?" He leads us off to this cave nearby and tells us to wait. All of a sudden, he's got the boss in tow and his adds with him. We're all sitting in there, killing everything as best we can, getting knocked around all over the place, and my healing resources are getting stretched thin (no AoE heals), and further, this was my second flashpoint being a dedicated healer in, so that made it all that much worse. We get through the fight with everyone on their last legs. I ask the PT why he did that and he says, "Less adds and no getting thrown around. it's a HM tactic." He then remembered that AoE heals were mainly required for that strat to be more effective. Not doing that again until I've got better healing abilities.
  4. A couple minutes after I posted that, actually I thought, "What the hell am I thinking? I can just get field respecialization and switch for free (since I'm a subscriber). Regardless, thanks for the idea. I'll definitely be doing that.
  5. I'm looking to know whether, just like how a Guardian can tank normal pre-50 FPs just fine in DPS spec, if Sorcerers can do similar things with their healing in FPs. My reasoning behind asking that is that evidently, a Madness/Lightning build is best for leveling purposes, so I am curious as to whether or not those abilities that are gotten in the healing skill tree can be done without so I could level quickly while still being able to get groups easily (since DPS characters tend to never get groups for FPs quickly in my experience).
  6. Okay; I've been waffling back and forth for the past hour now searching both the Mara class forum and the Jugg class forum, and I've come to the conclusion that I have no idea which one I want to play. So, I ask of those of you who read this part of the forum a few questions: 1) Which is easier to solo? 2) Which one is more fun and why? 3) Are there any other things to keep in mind when making this choice aside from aesthetics (character anims, etc.) A quick reply would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
  7. Well, if we consider Telos for a moment, from KoToR 2, the cut content (which was cut due to time restraints) shows that Telos had We can potentially assume that Taris had this as well, but it could also be that Malak just wanted to destroy Revan (and the planet) while he had the chance.
  8. I'm 99% certain you can't, but the more important question is: WHY?
  9. My guess would be Yoda. He uses that form strictly to augment his mobility. Thanks to his age, he can't move very quickly, so he uses the Force and the Ataru form to allow him to hold his own against enemies like Dooku and Sidious. All that jumping around he does while attacking would be Ataru, if I am not mistaken.
  10. They were rare in the time of the fall of the Republic, yes, but back in the Old Republic, they were fairly common-place. not as much as single hilt or dual lightsaber specialists, but it certainly wasn't rare by any means. Does it make them feel less special? Maybe. Doesn't make it any less fun to play a Sith Assassin/Jedi Shadow though.
  11. That's nothing compared to most Sith characters. If captured by the Jedi, I wouldn't be surprised if the Jedi Council decided to strip them of the Force after all they've done.
  12. I can't remember where I found it, but I think there was a Clone Wars episode that featured a four-armed Jedi of some sort that used dual double-bladed lightsabers.
  13. There was a bug keeping all of the classes doing some of their class stories. That bug is reportedly now fixed with a recent patch.
