  1. New news items (pun intended) .. EA/BW just releashed info about an option to use Cartel Coins to buy/sell on the AH also. In some way creating an real money AH. jk, but doesn't seem to far fetched after BW is actually going f2p on a game of theirs. BW, you guys where one of my childhood heroes when it was about real quality games ... Grats on reaching a new low. /cancelled. (but seeing how excited you all are about this, you probably think thats great news ... )
  2. Keep telling yourself this ...and your team. We all know what it means, we been warning you for 7 months... Translation, we are tying to stop this ship from sinking, we hope you will buy this new hat or monocle next week. Instead of giving you what you already paid for and are still paying for we are gonna spend your money putting more ""Buy Cartel Coins"" buttons in the game. Translation: We want you to keep spending more money then normal and the f2p people we hope beat some cash out of also. No you don't ... or maybe you do. But if you don't listen or act on it.. guess what. Yeah.. sure.. You need it more then us ... start updating your CV sunshine. Seeing this game is soon f2p, I'll just cancel now. No biggy right, as this is a direction you and your team are so excited about.
  3. Be careful what your wish for gunslinger/sniper. (also calling BS here, you screwed something up and you are not sharing, as I can imagine how 2 pyros firing off 2x TD + 2x RS after hitting you with incen. miss. will hurt like hell, killing you even with some crits and AA... But not with your defensive CDs running. If you where stupid enough to get within 10m or even to get pulled before you popped your CD's you ended up within 4 yards... goodluck then. Thats like running up a mar/sent and /poking him. )
  4. Having a pyro rocketpunch you in the face is the epitome of people admitting not having any situational awareness. They only have a pull every 45(35)secs. It's not like they are jumping all over the place every 15~secs. They also only have one defensive CD. It comes down to a person and their group allowing a walking flamethrower/lightshow walking up to them. Or not pulling a person back that got pulled. *shrugs* I know it's not just me, we got players on our server that noticed the above and just kill the squishy walking up to them. They also don't have any escapes.
  5. There is so much CC flying around that "CC"ing the user often isn't an option even. Maybe its use should reset the resolve bar --or they not being able to be healed (or a reduction). There are after all already other skills that stop/limit healing also. To be fair, I try to root / slow / CC and dot them up. If the Mar has been sloppy ... one can run away the dot often kills em. If used by a decent Mar/Sent or one being carried by a healer/team. He can pop it without thinking and be full HP at the end of the duration The skill is a bit over the top, but not unbeatable. I think the healing reduction might be nice to balance it out a bit. I always thought as UR/GBTF being a "Taking you with me" skill, right now, it's a bit more then that.
  6. Here is a nice one to stop pyros ruining your day, they can only pull once every 45(35)secs, no jumping around for them every ~15secs... So if you find yourself fighting one face to face here is what you! ... you wonder why you and your team let him/her walk up to you.
  7. In pugs when people notice you are a healer there are more of less two outcomes (after getting marked by someone with a clue.) They keep humping a tank/other one and you can heal in relative peace, now and then someone will jump you. They kill you the second they see you... only being guarded by a tank and them getting peeled off will safe you. The later, if the dps don't time their interrupts, you are not going to die (with some gearing up) The sad thing is, healing does need a dedicated team(member) to succeed in protecting you. DPS whined so hard that BioWare just gave up and gave them what they want. Not having to interrupt, just smash buttons to out dps a healer. Pretty sad. But I can't really object to things that make this game more group oriented. For now I'll object to the fact that Bioware caved on dps having to work together to succeed and now just placed that same issue upon tanks and healers. Also, mostly talking about pugs here. In ranked / teams ... sorry, you need to be protected, smack your tanks/dps for not doing so and peeling if you get pulled apart. Gear really is important also, if it wasn't and it was all skill, we wouldnt have any of the threads here about premade's farming pugs for comms. Because they wouldn't have to do so, because its all "skill".
  8. Assassins got 2x that time being immune .. so yeah, we might be, but it wouldn't be OP by itself. Although ... glowsticks already have so many things going for them in Hutball as is. So you are prob right.
  9. Because of course, your character should be more efficient then his/hers. Makes perfect sense, you do damage, they heal .. but you should be better at it then them? Take your own advice, get help from others. Why should you be better at doing dps then them healing (themselves). If they are doing so, they aren't healing others. You are doing your job, if someone helps, they might die. Sorry but there aren't magic sparkles, rainbows and unicorns shooting from your @rse when you walk upon the playing field --- and I think you need to do more then stand there like a sloth and spam the dps button...
  10. Stop ignoring pt's ... stop running after the glowsticks... They got 1 bloody defensive CD. They melt (pun intended) if focused. They need to close within 4 meters to do their thing... no speed, no jump also. (If the 45sec pull is a problem... I really don't know what to say with all the glowsticks jumping everywhere on a way shorter CD) It's not that hard.
  11. Voidstar can be so funny at times when defending, people completely forget how a compass works it seems. Hmmm, gonna use nautical directions (port, starboard etc) next match... Ill use the excuse that we are after all on a (star)ship.

Bioware should like put a CD on it so to say.. so it could only occur once every X seconds... to make stuff even more fun, the talents needed for it to refresh should be linked to two of the short ranged abilities .. and if you don't time it correctly they lose the instant refresh .... Making it only predictable when they are opening. (Maybe also by making them use a relative expensive resource ability, of course, again -- only by spending points in their talent tree.) They should also make it so that before he/she can do above reliably, he needs to run up to you within 4 meters... no jumping/speeding! Also give him/her 1 (not 4-5) defensive CD on a 2min timer and a pull on a 45(-35 other tree talents) seconds CD. (no jumping around every 15seconds!!!) That should stop em... oh wait a second... So .. what happened, you and your team ignored the flame spitting guy strolling up to you?

  15. Two things really about the classes you and so many others are complaining about... Marauders, learn when to stun and tell the difference shields they got. I do agree, if you screw up or are out of CD's / stuns in this fight... it's gonna hurt. But its a pure dps class... People need to stop spamming their CD's so much... like interrupting, it's a big thing. Pyrotechs and their rep cousins... they got like 1 defensive CD on a 2 min timer ... on my server enough people know to just focus them for a few seconds and your problem goes away. People get distracted by glowsticks jumping running around and ignore them to much. They fold over really quick if you give em a dirty look... My 2 cents..
