  1. "Better than cross-server" was mentioned at the Galactic Command focus test closing Q&A, the look on Eric's face when it was mentioned...
  2. "What if *this aspect* didn't matter? What if we did *this* instead? Would that change your opinion?" all sounds exactly like the questions Musco asked in the focus group Q/A 2 months ago. Making Nightmare mode for old Ops where with top gear you have a challenge on your hands is meh, just new mechanics to work with. Top gear only from crates from doing recycled content? That's a letdown. Their complete lack of interest in PvP was what killed this for me, especially the look Musco gave when I asked about minor incentives for WPvP to try to encourage more user-driven engagements, it turns out it was less of an "Are you kidding me?" and more of a "With these changes coming that I can't tell you about, there's no incentives to offer." What would make me stay is good PvP, still working on accepting that PvE gear is now the PvP gear and all gotten from the same source...
  3. With the larger population, they aren't desperate for members like on Jung Ma, so the random invites are not as common, most guilds will expect a proactive approach from you in the recruitment process. I only made reference to a reunion, not looking for a happy welcome from a former member of the second-best Trooper guild on Jung Ma.
  4. The most important recommendation I could give would be have an RP-appropriate name, Ozzimondious is better than LordDeathRage, without interacting with anyone, it's your first impression. RP appropriate meaning something a character could actually be named. Each server and guild has different rules, the general consensus is Say chat is In-Character (IC), Gen is Out-of-Character (OOC), and anything OOC you want to say when it's uncertain what the chat conditions are should be double parenthesis'd ((like this)). Some want quotations around IC talk, but that's usually personal preference. If you wanted to join as a Sith Lord, you'd need to talk with the recruiting guild member for what their rules are, they will vary drastically depending on which guild you go to. I've seen some have the apprentice program, others have Lord as the base rank of a Sith. I'd also recommend browsing http://ebhawk.enjin.com/forum/m/17460172/viewforum/5994986 for some more specific answers, they've put in a lot of work compiling this resource and is a big help.
  5. Nice. Who was your Trooper in MEU? Since we're a few weeks out still, I look forward to a Jung Ma reunion.
  6. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -A Message from Major Alrek Torik (retired), Founding Company Commander of Alpha Company 203rd REL: If you join Alpha Company you are the front line. The only thing standing between the freedom and a Sith conquered Empire are the brave souls who decide they are going to stand and fight against oppression. "We don't use lightsabers. We don't know how. We are not the Jedi, their powers escape us, as we were not gifted with these at birth. But we can still fight. Even the most gifted Jedi will fall to concentrated blaster fire. Even the strongest saber wielder cannot block high explosive. We started our trooper guild in Star Wars galaxies ten years ago. We led one of the largest and most popular trooper only guilds in the game... We were featured in Wired Magazine in 2005 for the very first Darth Vader military inspection in game where our company of stormtroopers was visited and inspected by Darth Vader in game. We brought RP and PVP content to a game that had little in the way of immersion as we would patrol cantinas, harass aliens, and search for rebels. We would often sweep through battlegrounds in numbers exceeding 40+ and dominate against the Rebel Alliance. But now we have a new challenge. Now with SWTOR we have a new game, new challenge, and we have decided to trace our lineage back to the origins of the trooper, only to be facing the sith this time around..." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alpha Company is a RP-PVP unit with a strict military structure and strong team based mindset. We are firm believers that our strength as unit is far greater than merely the sum of our players. The pride of our unit is World-PvP, and fighting shoulder to shoulder with armor-clad troopers to take and hold territory. We also participate in other aspects such as Roleplay Events, Warzones, and PvE Flashpoints/Operations on multiple nights each week. What we offer: •Ranks, Which have meaning and responsibilities •Uniforms and Standards •Strong Military Style Leadership •A Mature, 18+ Player Base •No Elitism or Drama •A Roleplay Friendly Environment •A Tight-Knit, Loyal Community Now you too have the chance to join this honored legacy and become a member of the most respected military unit on Jung Ma and The Ebon Hawk. 7. Please remove Alpha Company, we will be transferring to Ebon Hawk when 4.3 is live. Thanks for the good time Jung Ma.
  8. Right? So many expect compensation when the maint (or anything else for that matter) doesn't go as planned. Adapt and move on, play some Battlefront or watch some TV, catch up on Arrow or something. It happens.
  9. No, it is not. When was the last time there was a new Warzone? Queshball. So 1 companion needs PvP requirements if they're not your old companion, hardly an indicator. When they offer rewards for WPvP, then you may begin to worry.
  10. In the past meaning before relations were severed. I wish you luck, but don't count on collaborations with us anymore. We're entertaining the idea of branching out, but there's a list of things that need to be met before we'll even seriously consider a move.
  11. You're missing the point. The reason I and others want it has nothing to do with the rarity, it's a basic color. Yellow, Green, any Black core variant easier to obtain than having 1 person on an entire server that can craft it. It's not like I'm talking about White or White-Black, only 1 of the 3 standard colors in Star Wars.
  12. Among my guild, hundreds of thousands of WZ comms have been spent on the Grade 6 PvP Crafting Boxes to no avail. This common color with the useful stat should at least have a drop rate of 1 in 100, or ideally to have the crystals themselves have the same purchase price as the Green and Red versions.
  13. I don't know about the other 2, but I'm after the schematic only since I'm looking to outfit my guild with it. Not only that, but I saw you post this for sale in the Progenitor forums, if that's your server with this, you can't get it to anyone on a US server.
  14. Still here, been in since beta round 2 and haven't let the sub lapse.
