Hey everybody, Me and my friend are returning mature players (30 yo). We are looking for more people that would like to play some Flashpoints with us. If there is enough interest in this we can even form some kind of a guild. Anyway, the thing is that we wish to play with patient people because we are not that much into gaming anymore because of work and all other stuff that live is bringing to you We do not like people who take this game too seriously, I mean people starts screaming, ragequitting when someone made a mistake. It is just a game. I understand I was also before hardcore player but I do not wish to commit that much to a game. This is why we are looking for patient people who like to enjoy the game, flashpoints and maybe operations if there is enough people. We also like to play in casual, no rushing environment. Hey, For beginning thank you for reading this. The reason why I am writing this post is because I am in search for people to play some Flashpoints together. For now we are 3 friends who are playing this game. 1 Vanguard Trooper as Tank and 2 Jedi (Consular and Knight) as DPS. We are in search for Smuggler player as healer. Why Smuggler? Only reason is that we would like to have all classes involved. Nothing else or special. Anyway, we are all mature older players, around 30 y.o. This is why we would like to find a Smuggler for some casual game play with us. We do not like people who do not understand that this is just a game, who take this too serious. We are playing this because it is fun and in our free time. This is why we would like to play with mature players who are not ragging or stuff like that if someone makes a mistake. Some people are not that much into all this and we do not know each and every shortcut or similar thing in game. Guys thank you a lot for the answers. Well yeah I am glad that there is a way to play this old school. I don't like what are they starting to do with those MMOs these days. For new players they are probably okay. However older guys like myself who are playing this from beginning we usually miss old school CCs and actually understanding the mechanics of dungeon, flashpoint, whatever is it called. Then old school talent trees if you can remember those. Much much better than today "talent system" (or again how it is called in any of those games). I know that this is part of personal opinion, however I got a feeling that most of those MMO games today are simpler and simpler. There is a need of doing huge dps, and stuff like this but people are usually just nuking mobs like crazy and they do not understand mechanics or anything at all. Where are good old times . Well anyway this is starting to be an off topic so I will not continue writing nostalgic text here haha. However it is nice to hear that you actually have to do something here. And that there is old way of doing flashpoints. Anyway got just one last question which I am not sure if you answered or not but I will check this too. I understand that there is this Master way of playing Fps which need regular group set up. However, are there some like hard modes? Guys who played WoW recently knows what I am talking about, Normal difficulty, Hardcore and Mythic at last for each of those Fps? Hey guys, I played SWTOR a lot few years ago. Then I switched to WoW and I don't like it anymore so I decided to go back to SWTOR since I think it is much better game today. Anyway, I have few questions as returning player since I haven't "touched" the game for few years. Some of them might sound completely noobish but I would like to know few details so thanks for understanding. Since I yesterday logged in to game after few years there is a lot of new things for me here. Anyway, I only focus on PvE content in all MMO games. First thing which I would like to know is how are Flashpoints these days? When I played last there was that "regular" setup needed to play flashpoints, 1 tank 1 healer 2 dps. Now I see that there are some solo mods, and I can pass through the flashpoints fairly easy. Is there some difficulty (or some way of playing) that requires this old school system? I am still leveling my character because I decided to make a fresh start and not to use my old character here. I suppose that when you come to max lvl that there is some kind of HC mode for max lvl characters (however it is called in this game). But can you play flashpoints in groups during leveling? The second questions about flashpoints is this. The thing that really bothered me in WoW is that there was no need of using any crowd control abilities. Basically you just run through dungeons there today. I am old school player who played wow and this game from vanilla and this is really stupid for me. Are flashpoints here as easy too or? Do you have to use CCs or you just run through the flashpoints completely brainless? Thank you guys for your answers!
