  1. When some one removes rewards for doing repetitive tasks the people doing those tasks generally have less reason to do those tasks. If those tasks are the only things that keep people logging in day to day.... Time to check back in with Warframe (and all the other games I've played over the last 25 years) and see if they know how to do keep players engaged. Then again, I bought a few board games for a reason - harder to have them nerfed.
  2. It feels as though the RNG has replaced the content development aspect of SWTOR. If there are too many road blocks people just wont bother with it, slow the pace and people will leave at a much faster pace.
  3. Once you have completed one set of armor can you continue to complete the other? The reason I ask is that I have completed the Dredseed armor and have not been able to find any more pieces (of any set) even though I have spent many hours digging in multiple locations, on multiple maps, over multiple days. Since starting the search for these armor sets I have come to the conclusion that some one is hard up creating entertaining content to keep us happy and entertained. After digging I have 2x Explorer Chassis, 2 x Explorer Repulsorlift, 1 x Explorer Steering Mech, 1 x Exploiter Repulsorlist, 1 x Exploiter Steering Mech, 1 x (item) Title: Dredseed (even though it was unlocked), 1 x SF head, 3 x SF Jacket, 5 x SF Gloves, 1 x SF Armguard, 1 x DS head, 1 x DS jacket, 4 x DS Gloves, 2 x DS Belts, 1 x DS pants, 3 x DS boots, 1 x DS Armguard. Was it worth it and did I have fun getting 1 complete set of armor? Answer has to be a big "NO!"
  4. Take names and place them on the ignore list, it helps a little especially when doing flashpoints. Some people seem to think as though you are just another NPC in their game that they bought. Rude baskets.
  5. Nice to see an event with more bugs in it, patching tonight will hopefully fix them, and the GROUP FINDER bug. and agree with the rewards, they stink. where is the love for the other classes?
  6. Anyone stealing from inside a game is a bad thing, no excuses. All items in a guild bank are the property of the guild. Guild Bank - pay game currency for storing game currency, allowing a guild bank to pay for repairs, item storage for guild members. Why have it in the first place? I am in a guild where freedom is key, do what you want when you want, play with people who are on if you want, leave and join the guild as you like. This guild had near 500 members in the main guild before culling started, and also had to make another sub-guild for 4th and more alts. Money has never been an issue - need more then do more dailies, sharing has never been an issue - if some one has something spare then it is offered and mailed. Big rule - dont make anything of value available to anyone. This removes any opportunity for some one to break your trust and steal from the guild, especially when a guild bank is as useless as it is in SWTOR.
  7. Was doing a search for "operations difficulty" because I am getting bored of doing the same things all the time, and I came to this post. I believe that at this stage, mid August, that it is still relevant. Nothing new to do, and no reason to continue to do the current content. step 1 - level to 50 step 2 - do dailies to gear up for hard modes and raids step 3 - geared with raid gear, dailies are too easy and boring, so raid. step 4 - raid, raid, raid. what is there to do now that raids are boring. step 5 - level alts to 50 through the same content step 6 - in the desire not to be bored we leave for new content - another game step 7 - rinse and repeat...
  8. hhmmm, seems like this biggest issue(s) are in end game. Here is an idea for a F2P model; Pay to Play from levels 15 - 49 This is most of the content This is a large amount of in-game time Great story that will suck people in to the game Pay to do the grind for Daily Comms No new patching/programming required Free to Play from levels 1 - 15 This is a small amount of in-game time Great story that will suck people in to the game Give people new to the game time to try it out to level 15 No new patching/programming required Free to Play from level 50 This is the least amount of new content This is a small amount of in-game time per day/week Allows for a GF HM FP per day Allows for a raid or two a week Stops having raiders pay for F2P accounts Some patching/programming required Allow us the choice to pay for bugs and bug fixes For those that want new content; look forward to 28 Aug as a whole new range of content will be coming out - story, servers, zones, gear, instances, raids, etc - on the famous F2P model. It will be called Guild Wars 2. I am a big Star Wars fan, like most people playing SWTOR, I also very much dislike fantasy, also like most people playing SWTOR, but the issues are getting to be game-breakers. I ask BW to help keep me from leaving a game/galaxy I enjoy very much.
  9. I was a soldier (a grunt - government reject unfit for normal training) but we knew to add white space to make things easily readable. Saw this and just had to post criticism without reading what hurt my eyes, could have had some good points but who is going to read it to know?
  10. Agreed, and if the above isnt enough then add some schematics to the list, or add crystals as a mat for crafting or exchange for that tiers exotics.
  11. Why would anyone want to put limits on content? We have what we have currently. We want more, some want more of what they have enjoyed in the past, and others want more new stuff. Where do I fit? Well, if my only choices are one or the other then I guess I'm on the fence. That means I want both. Not one over the other, not one more than another, but both. Old and new content. Expand the game, not just pay options, but the game content. I will go for the easily achievable milestones with revamping loot tables and levels to HM and NM, as long as that is not the end of the expansion to the game. At this point I am assessing the game, I am not the first and I wont be the last,, so what is going to make ME stay when most of the end game content is the same old same old, same FPs, dailies, or grind toons I "hate" to play just to get a frakking droid I cant really use in end game. MORE options, MORE content, MORE story (one of the best things in the game from levels 1 - 49), just MORE. I am only here for the long haul if the game maker is as well.
  12. The problem is that you are patching 3 days this week, during peak period (Australian times) changing scheduled times after you have posted them, run overtime with forever adjusted finish times. We plan our gaming times to our success, cant you do the same? And by the way, stop thanking me for something I have lost - patience - due to your lack of testing, planning or consideration. Extremely Peeved
