  1. Incorrect. it would pop up INSIDE the main quickbar. not overlaying it. it's working fine here. did you try resetting your UI? or playing around with the options for those bars?
  2. Good job on a excellent patch and thank you for the free month and ze pet. I'll cuddle it... if it doesnt bite. otherwise it'll prolly end up on the BBQ.
  3. Well, it still talks too much.. its definately a lot less frequent, I just wish there was an off switch.. just turn the damned thing off...
  4. Agreed.. this is something that needs to be adressed quickly. should be a quick fix.
  5. Hello I've read through all the patch notes for patch 1.2 , which is quite amazing. It seems you guys really did a good job on that. but there is something missing, which has been promised by Bioware several weeks ago. and that is engine tweaks and general game optimalizations. there has been no note of this in the patch notes, not a single word on engine improvements, possible loading time improvements and stuttering reducing. Are these notes yet to be added? does the game run any better in 1.2 then it does now? And for the people who are about to post "omg lael there are no performance issues im running at 1600 fps your system is crap" go read the forums, there are several threads in there with people having high-end systems where the game runs like crap, especially in vaiken and pvp. save yourself the time from posting if you have no idea what you are talking about. Otherwise, i'm really excited with the patch. there are a quite a few changes in there that I really like. Thank you for your time - Fred
  6. Kiddo? when I posted my post , that info wasnt there. dude. And neither was it when the warning popped up ingame.. dude.
  7. This is getting ridiculous.. it's time we get some compensation for this. Oh and Bioware.. Why say Check forums or twitter for details when there are posted none? Fail :/
  8. Most certainly. this is by far the best MMO I have played in my life. and i've tried all of them. there are a few quirks here and there, but that doesnt change the fact that this game has no competition. so i'll renew my sub , untill something equal or better comes out. (and no , gw2 wont be that game. its overhyped).
  9. Agreed. There should be a max vieuw distance slider, and there should be a slider that controls how far stuff like grass pops up.. seriously, I havent seen grass and ground clutter pop up this close in a game since 2003.
  10. Hoax. Ofcourse this didnt work at all. Only way to fix the performance issues of this game is the engine. If bioware starts optimizing it.
  11. OP is correct. Not to mention the fact that Bioware made several hefty promises concerning the 1.2 patch that a LOT of us haven't forgotten (engine optimalisations, framerate improvements, texture-quality improvements) . I'm sure they are aware of this... *looks at Bioware*...
  12. Bye. don't forget to close the door on your way out. Really, though.. I'll try to get as many people to buy the game as it's simply the best MMO there is.
  13. And rightly so. this game is abolutely the best MMO experience i've had in the past 15 years. and i'm not kidding. If you go back to any other mmo you'll die of boredom within 10 minutes.
  14. Well then there is something wrong on your end. everyone I talked to has confirmed ability delay is gone, totally. people on the server as well. I have noticed it no longer excists. Must be your pc somehow. And wow did have ability delay , which took 6-7 months to fix.
  15. Agreed. in some scenario's the game actually runs horribly bad. vaiken is notorious, i'm able to get a substained 60 fps everywhere (except pvp and vaiken, obviously, v-sync capped) but on fleet , with 10-15 people in view, it'll drop to 35-40 and start slugging (noticable framedrops when moving around the station), with more players the framerate will even degrade further, to the point of 20-25-ish. I'm running a I5-750 quadcore (nehalem) oc'ed to 3.66 ghz, 12 GB ram and a 6950 2gb card. I've also noticed that , for example , if you run under a waterfall or something that produces particles , the framerate will drop to a crawl for no appearant reason. Cant imagine a ****tly looking particle fountain is so GPU/CPU intensive. I'd think that there are some major engine issues concerning the more powerful hardware not being used / adressed properly, and i'm hoping that Bioware will have a fix for it sooner or later. in fact, if they know they have a problem, it's totally fine with me that they dont say a word about it and just slip in a quiet fix, because it's obviously not OUR problem, it's theirs. Offtopic: What's with the loading times btw.. sometimes the loading times are pretty quick (planets, vaiken), but other times the loading times increase 2-3 times normal. I have a reasonably fast HD (Western Digital Black 1TB) and it usually loads Tattooine for example in 20-25 secs, but sometimes I have to wait up to 2 minutes. the bar will just stand still at 1/3'rd and not move at all- no HD activity, nothing. and then it'll jump to the end. Bit weird? Anyhow.. /signed for the performance issues.. overall, the game runs decently, but nowhere as good as it should on fast hardware , which is a shame.
