  1. I think Kai should sell his stuff for a different currency. Right now the random box vendor and him share the tech fragments so if someone gambles all of their fragments away on the random box vendor and Kai shows up next day with the set bonus items they would have wanted it's going to feel pretty frustrating. Most people might not even use the rng box vendor so they save to buy from Kai. Instead of tech fragments maybe Kai could trade his inventory for some scraps that the players would get from scrapping any unwanted gear pieces.
  2. The fact that I can progress my gear on any of my characters is great. Because of this I think it is fine that the initial gearing is a bit slow. After all once I'm done with one character I can skip right to the end with other characters too. One thing that really annoys me though is getting wrong stats while gearing. Tanks should not get dps statted gear and dps should not get tank stats. Same goes for the main and offhand random boxes from the fleet vendor. Please make these spec and class specific. Also I think the random boxes should never offer downgrades. Sidegrades and upgrades only. Please also add a small chance to get an upgrade that skips a tier or two. I think tech scrap cap is too low. Actually I don't think they should have any practically reachable cap at all. Also, since defense stat remains fairly weak and most tanks will probably want to change their mods to lethal B mods, please make some way to obtain them that doesn't require almost twice the effort that dps go through to minmax. Either make kai zykken randomly sell them or a rng mod box. Same thing for high endurance versions of enchantments.
  3. I ended up just clicking off the buff that increases its force cost and crit chance at 1-2 stacks or just waiting until it falls off on its own. the tactical still increases the amount of leeching strikes this way but also leaves enough force to do the rest of the rotation
  4. Please make Severing Slash cost 0 force or make it return some force per target hit. Right now the ability is just a slightly stronger lacerate but making it free of cost would give assassins a new filler ability which I think is needed.
  5. For second boss last burn I found the most consistent strat to be for dps to go down and burn boss after lightning while tank and heal stay up as far from the ramp as possible. Just make sure healer gets heal agro on everything spawning. Tank should slow and control the first wave of adds as much as possible. Once it gets too hot for the healer you just jump down so you get like 15s of breathing room while the adds run back down. If dps are slow then just go back up with grapples once the adds get back down. Bonus boss the healer droid is easiest to control with coordinated cc. If your group has 1min duration ccs (merc/sorc) make sure they use them right after the droid uses its stunbreak. Otherwise optimize 8s cc usage. Fill gaps with normal stuns. A pug strat I know of is to slowly drag the bonus boss to the second boss room by the tank staying 40m away. This makes the adds not come. Even if you just burn boss like this and only occasionally stun/interrupt the heal the boss should slowly go down. This way takes like 5 times longer but no threat of random knockback deaths, no adds and more room to drop circles in.
  6. I can see your point to some extent but you only need a target to hit, no other action is required from them to heal yourself. I might agree if it worked like the jug heal or the saber ward heal utility. If you don't have anyone to attack then you probably don't need healing anyway or can just out of combat regen if in pvp. at work right now so I'll ask my friend to parse the utility with carnage once I get home EDIT was about 700hps

My friend does about 1.6k hps as selfhealing with annihilation while using the thirst for rage utility and the same amount in group heals so over 3k hps total which is pretty good amount considering it takes no additional gcds from dealing dmg. Even carnage with the utility will selfheal something like 1.3k hps due to their faster rotation.

Another funny thing was that I played this whole match with a ship with 0 upgrades. Only thing I had different from the default loadout was that I changed the co-pilot.
  9. Just having all the companions unlocked within all 8 different classes is enough. Atleast I got that achievment by just going through my alts on the first day the expansion came out.

  13. Changing the actual parts like cannons, missiles and engines changes the look of the ship.
  14. Hey nice! What do you think of the second scout? I didn't play with one yet but from playing against a few already, they just didn't feel like too much of a threat. Sure they were annoying as hell with the constant missilespam and the better pilots were hard to get away from, but they almost never even managed to break my shields even if I was just ignoring them and shooting down other enemies. On top of that they felt like they dropped even faster than the other scouts, but that was probably because they were too busy trying to get missile locks to have the time to dodge I'm in a guild called Techno Union and I've been flying with the standard starfighter (F-T6 Rycer) almost all of my games so far.
