Anyone know when I should switch to power instead of critical rating according to the graph on this page? http://www.jedilace.com/2012/02/ I'm trying to maximize gear potential, and came across that crit chance from critical rating has a diminishing return, so around when is critical rating too much and I should go power? Assuming I have surge at 75%. Critical Chance total is buffs+skill tree crits+mainstats contribution+critical rating contribution but only critical rating has the diminishing return, rest are fixed rate (main stats), and fixed number (buffs, skill tree)

I think you missed my point, they didn't "accidentally" mislead, they probably intentionally used the words regularly without predefining it, so that they can update it with a regularity as they see fit. I don't think they ever said they'll update CE store as regularly as they update game, forum. Again, you choose to interpret it as the way you wish it to be, but anyone can have a different interpretation, and the developers apparently do. I'm not saying you're wrong to have this opinion, even I wish more items is added, but you asking for a refund when they delivered what they promised is probably not going to happen. Again, in their minds they probably think they did exactly as promised. Can they have done more, yes, but did they do at least what they promised, also a yes.

OP kept saying he was promised "regular" update but never got it, where regular was not predefined. I think the CE was as advertised, it is just some people's interpretation is different than other's, that's why there are so much complaint. I think they left it undefined for the specific reason that you would have no case against them in court, it was written plain and simple in black and white. Do I think 6 months is long for update? Yes. Will my complaint have merit in a court? No. And that's why so many think this post is just whine.

I thought I've seen post about GTN stuff not transferring, but couldn't find it again in the transfer FAQ, only see that we have to clear guild bank etc. Can someone confirm that items won't transfer or will transfer with a link?

the client is only 32 bit, not many 64 bit game clients out there yet, SWTOR is not 64 bit even if your OS is. You'll notice SWTOR is installed in Programs x86 (these are where the 32 bit programs go in win7 64 bit), not Programs (these are the native 64 bit install location)

What is the reasoning for us beating the last boss in Hard Mode Directive 7, then die, then not being able to get back into the instance to loot the corpses? We can't even reset the boss instance since it is on lock out? I got from in game mail: "We have investigated the error you reported, and have confirmed with our specialist team that in fact this is not a bug, and is working as designed. If you feel that this aspect of the game could work differently, we strongly recommend posting your feedback on our (Suggestion Box)" Well I suggest you GIVE US THE LOOT WE EARNED. We killed the boss before everyone died. Why aren't we allowed to go in to loot the corpse? Or if us dying count as being defeated why not have the boss respawn and let us try again? Another thing I did was stay dead and NOT respawn while others respawn, I was afraid that the instance MIGHT reset if we ALL exited. So when others respawned to try to come back in, I was KICKED from the instance, and we could NOT go back in. EXACTLY what I was trying to prevent, I suggest you change that so that people that stay dead inside CAN stay dead inside for others to come ressurrect and receive our hard earned loot.

Which patch are we on right now? I saw in the patch notes of 1.1.3 they're going to fix Reverse Engineering, but did 1.1.3 go live? Because I'm still getting "You already know this schematic". Are we getting a new patch tonight Feb 21 or just regular maintenance? From G.S.

Should I switch my offhand to one with more willpower but no shield when DPSing, and does a 20% shield chance offhand only work with certain combat technique used?

I run this game with ~20 fps, not VERY smooth but playable on my Macbook Air with 4GB RAM and intel HD3000 graphics by turn down or off everything possible in windows 7 power option turn graphics setting to Maximize Battery Life Install Lubbos Fan Control and turn fan to max. You can get ~60 FPS if you don't care about the heat decreasing your battery life on the Air. With Max Battery Life and 20 fps, the fan at max, the temperature is about 80 degree C. If I let the graphics to be set to Balanced or Max Performance, the fps can get to 60 but then temp goes to 95 degrees C.

I just called my Best Buy and the CS representative said that if I pre-ordered, there will be a copy with my name attached, so all is relieved... but I'll be more relieved when I hold it on the 20th :-) If I were you guys, I'd just call Best Buy and ask this specific question, and make sure they answer in the affirmative.

Do we still have to fight the crowd for our copy of CE even if we pre ordered? Anyone able to get their name attached to a CE copy by calling Best Buy?
