  1. I am having trouble staying interested in this game until I can transfer some of my characters. While I know it is my own fault that I ended up spread across a couple different servers, Bioware did do a couple things to encourage this. 1. Guilds were assigned to a server. I started on a server because of a guild, but quite a few of those people have left, and now I'm on a server I never really wanted to be on with my highest level characters. 2. I am a West Coast player playing on an East Coast server. In many MMO's, that would not be a big deal, but for some reason the added latency makes a bigger deal in TOR. The game play is much smoother when I play on a west coast server, but again my highest characters are stuck on the east coast. 3. Those pretty large queue's at launch had a lot of people trying alternative servers. I take some responsibility here, as we all should for our impatience, but it still would be nice if Bioware helped us out with that. 4. The Legacy system encourages playing both factions on one server. I don't know if the information was out there at release, but I had no idea that my legacy name and XP would carry over on both factions. It is really different than many other MMO's, where it is almost encouraged to use a different server when playing other factions. So I really hope they allow server transfers soon. I understand the biggest hurdle is the Legacy system, but I don't even care if the legacy xp gets transfered over, and I have no problem changing the names if they aren't available on a new server. If they just allow each character one free move, it will make my experience a ton better, and I don't see how that can be exploited.
  2. I definitely glad we have so many people actively calling Walmart and EA, I appreciate that. I just think we can hold off on the angry rants until we hit Friday the 16th. If the game doesn't ship on that day then heads will roll!
  3. It has been stated repeatedly that the stores won't have their full inventory until tomorrow. We should wait on the flipping out until then.
  4. I'm glad to see we are keeping this issue visible, but I think we can hold off until Friday to really panic. If they receive the inventory tomorrow, all our copies should be able to ship by Friday. If they sit on them until the 20th, that will be messed up.
  5. I won't get really worried about my Walmart order until Friday. If it doesn't ship out then, I know it won't arrive by the 20th. I don't trust that customer support really has any idea what is happening. If it hasn't shipped by the 20th, then I plan on running around town trying to find a store with a CE copy on the shelves. I'm assuming Best Buy, Fry's, and all the other retailers won't stock them until Tuesday morning, so I hope I have a chance to pick one up. Then I just return the Walmart copy when it finally arrives.
  6. September 1st, my wife's account is in. Now I'm just waiting on my October 10th CE account so I can play with her.
