  1. PvP is shallow and broken. The fact, this mmo is considering within a couple months to merge servers and allow transfers is testament to how boring people find this game to be. A lot of pvper's share the exact same sentiments as myself. If you don't it's because you most likely don't know any better (first mmo, or WoW was). & because of that I would discount your opinion to nil.
  2. Your signature pretty much sums up the point i'm trying to convey. & it is difficult for other subscribers to understand because for many this game is their first mmo experience (apart from gaining achievements for xbox live due to playing the mass effect series lol)
  3. I am not trying to upset anyone. I am just trying to explain that what is best for PvPer's is best for all players (regarding this mmo). Star Wars Galaxies players have more influence over subscriptions than any other subscriber from a different mmo because we love and care about the brand. What I listed to be incorporated or not will determine whether or not this game will be a viable alternative to other mmo's or console games. Fact (1), what I am advising is the recipe for SUCCESS - the community of Bloodfin stayed together till the very end of Star Wars Galaxies while other servers filled with role players and pver's quickly unsubscribed and or transferred. Fact (2), The community of Bloodfin (which was the unofficial PvP server) is once again staving off the death of STWOR with the Fatman Server. There is no way around it. While other servers fell off the map - The Fatman server (Bloodfin) community stuck around. A testament to how PvP created content can sustain a community. I am not expecting everyone to like each aspect listed, just to respectfully try and become aware that these issues need to be addressed. That is all. sincerely, XOXO - Fatman Server
  4. Dear Bioware, SWTOR concerning PvP is nothing but a vapid discharge of boredom. I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually wish Sony Online Entertainment ran this game. The Player vs. Player experience is nothing more than an endless run of lifeless war zones. You think people will keep their subscriptions because you decided to copy the battle ground structure from World of WarCraft? Think again, many of us are Star Wars Galaxies veterans and understand what PvP content should be like. In fact, I would even argue that whole reason your game still has subscriptions is because of servers full of old SWG players such as "The Fatman". Your game is going to die if you continue to neglect player vs player content. When it comes to anything "Star Wars themed" you should look to the community of PvPer's because we are more socially involved with other players. If you ignore us, we will leave. & the community if you can call it that will cease to exist. The logic behind that Bioware is that PvPer's create content. We create the identity behind many of the Guilds. We reach out to other guilds for help when it comes to world pvp. We may not be the largest community of players but I can tell you we are 100x more social than any PvE player. PvE players involve themselves with NPC's. PvP players involve themselves 100% with other subscribers. We started rivalries that span almost a decade - just take a look @ some of the old Rebel Guilds - and Imperial Guilds that are still around on the Fatman. It's the PvP content that drives a game and sustains a community. You should be focusing on PvP content not silly cool downs for Legacy. We want: (1) dueling on Fleet (2) the ability for the Republic to try and wage war on Fleet & likewise (3) more of an open world (4) the removal of world instances (5) eight man war zone groups (6) ranked battles (7) the ability to challenge other guilds to War for a set duration anywhere - same faction (8) planets available for player cities (9) we want a combat medic profession that eats the health bar (haha just put that in cause i miss it) (10) player contracted bounties (11) player vs player space battles (12) quest mobs away from the road (13) more hybrid class playability (14) more distinct faction classes that are not mirrored (15) racial benefits with regard to class playability (16) the end of cross faction server toons - either Imperial or Republic toons on server but not both (17) the ability to speak more than Basic - game needs more roleplaying aspects too! (18) earn more commendations for open world pvp ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If there's anything i missed feel free to include it. The point is that many people stayed subscribed for Star Wars Galaxies since day 1 - to the Combat Upgrade simply because of most of the pvp content created by players (about 2 years). This game will not have that luxury if you continue to ignore what PvPer's want. I for one will not extend my subscription after it runs out if you do not listen. I am sure many other players recognize that once players hit 50 (they tend to disappear and stop playing quickly afterwards). sincerely, XOXO - Fatman server
  5. Will there be trade forums to match server forums like SWG? Some of us enjoy becoming the One Percent and taking advantage of the 99 Percent like the good ole days of Anti-Decay Kits and what not.... buy low. sell high!
