The Apostates are an irreverent brother/sisterhood of non like minded individuals who have journeyed together since the ancient and murky prelaunch days. Originally tagged as Hyperion, then Halcyon, later Praxceum, and finally the Apostates. We were born out of a sense of passive aggressive apathy...the exact kind of dogma that would lead its members to collectively kick their original Guild Leader for being an uptight troll whose lone goal was to drain our souls of joy and merriment. Since then, it has been nothing less than a philosophical sojourn full of rainbows and cuddly ponies all resulting in a final epiphany... an acme of enlightenment if you will...a new unifying mantra. We were all deceived... And so the choice was clear...in fact, it was no choice at all...we are now Apostates...profane poets forsaking the social moors of MMO gaming and seeking one thing and one thing only...hedonistic gaming pleasure of the most self gratifying kind. Originally from Juyo Server, this merry band managed to become the top progression guild on that server, with firsts on every hard mode Explosive Conflict Boss. We currently run three 8 man progression raiding groups, regular Nightmare Pilgrim runs...and...when the madness takes us...the occasional 16 man raid. We also conduct pvp rated warzones in concert with Pillars of Ashla (one of the few guilds that can tolerate our misguided sense of humor) and even managed to bamboozle Pak’Cafan into letting us park our naughty imperial alts in their midst. As everyone is posting as they go, I thought I'd do the same! We didn't move up our raid schedule to accommodate TfB's release, so we got a bit of a late start and only started tonight. Salutations!! We have arrived from Juyo with a brief layover on Canderous Ordo... Glad to be a part of the community here! Thanks to all the Server changes what was once Hyperion, then Halcyon, and later Praxeum, is now finally Apostates...obviously Bioware has shaken our beliefs...I have recently posted a thread "about us" here on the Jedi Covenant Thread Look forward to getting to know you all in the coming months. Server: JUYO Server type: PVE There are an assortment of great friendly guilds on Juyo. Most of the larger ones delve into both PVE and PVP. The Republic Side Includes: Pillars of Ashla, No Sleep till Kessel, Knights of IRON, Beacon in the Darkness, Sunrider Knights, Teras Kasi Order, Use the Fork, Republic of Texas, Platinum, Prodigy, GFF, In Tenebris, Fate of Honor, Royal Black Watch, Templars of the Republic, Outer Rim Templars, and Halcyon. The Imperial Side Includes: Catalyst, Pak'Cafan, Ascendency, Dark Order of Amaranth, Barely Lethal, Force Choke, Crimson Guard, Dark Holiday, Overload, Imperial Black Watch, Shadows of the Sith, Aftermath, Crazies of Korriban, Sith'Ari Order, and Runic Empire. (Please forgive me if I forgot a few) Estimate of current population: Average evening Fleet Pop is 50+ How is your community: I've played MMOs since OU and I would say, without reservation, that the Community on Juyo is the best I've encountered. General information: Most Guilds run their own Raids, however finding a pug group or raid isn't very hard. PvP Qs can be slow during the day but in the evening and during the weekends the Qs become rather fast. There have also been events organized for the Community as a whole by some Guilds, such as PvP Wednesdays where all the Guilds make premades and keep score against each other (Our own version of ranked warzones). Our Guild also hosts a PvE weekend once a month and invites others from smaller guilds to join us as we clear out pesky codex entries. Other Guilds such as Galactic Wolf Council host morning Pug Raids during the week for European players. There are also cross faction alliances where alts on the other side can find a home in a friendly guild...this can often make PvP rather interesting...and dare I say even somewhat cordial. All in all, it's an extremely friendly and stress free environment where most of the regulars both know each other and work together to better the community.
