  1. someone asks a question - devs ignore it "omg, eaware are so crap, they won't give us ANY information. JUST LET US KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING" someone asks a question and the staff give an answer that is increidbly easy to understand - it's being discussed, personally they think it's a great idea, but no promises can be made because there are many things to consider. "omg, why give us information that requires a brain cell to understand??? you should only be telling us things when they have been 100% decided because we don't understand the difference between "might" & "will"" lincoln was wrong - you can't please all of the people some of the time. some people are just never happy.
  2. well this sucks, i really couldn't care less about renaming my characters but i picked a daft legacy name. but then i'm sure they knew that legacy renaming would be in greater demand than character renaming when they decided with which one to give and with which one to take away
  3. do you use an mmo mouse? i found that happen to me when i'd programmed abilites with multiple key keybinds (ie atrl/alt + letter) and used them while moving
  4. there are also occasions in certain flashpoints and higher level quests where some events are spolied. personally it didn't annoy me, but in the battle of ilum/false emperor flashpoints, for instance, which i was able to enter from the GF queue, references were made to events i hadn't actually seen yet as i hadn't completed the ilum quest series that was a prequel to those flashpoints. also, when i hit 50, i hadn't actually completed even chapter 2 of my class quest, yet some of the higher level quest givers were talking about how i'd brought the rift alliance to the republic when i hadn't. granted not everyone is going to be so out of sync between level/progress but it shouldn't be too hard to put in a few pre reqs for quests to make sure you aren't doing quests where people mention stuff you haven't done yet.
  5. The sarcasm is strong with this one.
  6. You can also buy weapons on the fleet beside the pvp terminal
  7. For convenience it'd be nice to have 2 talent builds..personally i wouldn't even care if i had to go to a skill trainer to switch between them (meaning we'd still have to buy field respec ability) bit just being able to pick build one, build 2, or reset current build would make it much quicker to respec from tank to dps, or even quickly switch between 2 different builds you're trying out.
  8. a dps specced and equipped Guardian/Vanguard/Shadow cannot tank efficiently at the top level. a tank specced and equipped Guardian/Vanguard/Shadow cannot deliver enough damage at the top level. you're welcome.
  9. 9. don't queue as a tank if you are dps specced. 10. don't queue as dps if you are tank specced.
  10. I think you're misunderstanding the stats. Aim doesn't improve accuracy, it performs exactly the same function as every other "combat" stat like strength, willpower except for different classes.
  11. nothing is wrong with a low level player having lots of credits. why not give everyone limitless funds, then the game would really have a point. all games are designed to give you a goal to work towards. i think the planetary comms cap is a little low, and it should at least be high enough to allow the purchase of a full set of gear for one character, but i think people are just looking for something to complain about. you aren't forced to buy mods and gear below your level - you can purchase things AT your level, ie things you can use NOW. in reality, there is no difference between continually buying mods 1 or 2 or 3 levels above what you can equip, then swapping them into your gear when you hit the right level, and just buying the mods once you actually hit the required level, certainly not in terms of the number of comms that you will spend over the course of the game. there may be some psychological confusion that makes people think that buying gear above your level is somehow better or more economical, but it really isn't, because you've then got gear sitting there that you can't use until you've levelled some, and in the mean time you may get a loot drop that makes the stuff you've bought worthless. yes, a cap of 50 makes things slightly inconvenient in that you have to return to the fleet once you have 50 to spend them (on the most up to date mods for your current level btw, not potentially well out of date mods like the old syste would have forced you to do), but if you're earning more than 50 comms per day i think the cap is even less worthy of getting your panties in a bunch over.
  12. i think we're talking about different things here. you're talking about the fact that you can't buy items above your level, which is different than having a limit. they can't just let you buy any old thing because then a level 10 could go and purchase level 50 mods and make more money than they're actually meant to be able to. it's a drawback to being able to spend comms you earn on one planet on a higher level planet if you're a slightly higher level than you're meant to be. truth is though, planetary comms are easy to earn, if you're 2 or 3 levels below the mod you want to buy, just buy one for your own level then by the time you hit your desired level, chances are you'll have enough to buy more
  13. i think the point is that they want you to spend them, not have them sitting in your inventory doing nothing
  14. I'm sorry, but I'm missing your point. If you don't want to spend, what's the problem? If you do want to spend, you have to spend a bit more often, but it's still better that if you outlevel the planet you're on, the comms you're earning are still useful. They should at least raise the cap to a point where you can fully upgrade one character though
