Would like to start on a pvp server what should i expect? Anyone have a suggestion a a a server that has a strong republic presence?

So does anyone run a pvp tanking build in shadow? If so what do you think and what is your build? I ran a def Bh loved him but going to give the republic a try and shadow looking interesting!
