It all coincided with DLC's / Loot Boxes etc... face it, the industry got "professional". These games are made by business people for the most part and they want a ROI no matter the cost. Sad state of affairs across the gaming world at present - at 44 I am lucky to have been around duriing the peak years where you paid money and got a product to be pleased with. Should say that I've a decent PC with very little in the way of good games to use on it. Very dissapointing. Maybe I am just spoilt?

Hi all, Returning player looking to dip a toe back into SWTOR... Used to play Merc Healer / used to playing Direct Heals/Tank Healer..... is BH Merc still a good choice? Is there a better "considered" healer? What healers are needed the most? Essentially any advice is greatfully received. BTW - is it worth starting a new character or keeping with existing one? Cheers in advance for any help.

Really nice guide. But how much Alacrity do you run with? I am at 4.06% at moment and seen no difference between that and when I stacked a lot of it (for test) when I got up to about 8%, with c/d's from relic it got to over 12%. Voted for the thread. Needs to be made a sticky as not much help out there for those looking to get into the class and role as a healer.

Yes but that shouldn't be considered rule of thumb. If a DPS'r is taking damage in a HM and the tank isn't in danger of dying then I will put it on to the DPS'r to help keep him alive. Again, it's situational and an ability you can use to your liking as you see fit. Use it wisely and with an open mind. More often than not, especially with a big group of mobs that is about to be pulled I would put KS on myself for the firs 5-10 seconds until the tank gets full aggro and has stopped trying to attack me due to healer aggro. Then once all is calm I shove it back on the tank. But yes, 80%-90% of time it is on the tank.

Its not that, its more that people will moan about whatever game they play. I'll admit I stopped playing this game back in March of last year for a couple of reasons, but I didn't feel like coming on here to moan about it. In either case the game is in a pretty good place for me. I'm enjoying it.
