    really. PVP issues

Yall keep saying that things are going to get better. You have had 4 months to watch. Why do you deliberately create such animosity. People literally HATE people on the other side of a GAME because you are incompetent. Fix your game. People are going to end up in real life fights over your game. Does one side always get their dailies and weeklies done, but the other side complete less than half? Start actually playing both sides and stop theorizing about how it should be working on paper. you should actually be forced to play the losing side 8 hours a day until you figure out that one side is not just that much better players (I know cause I can win all the time on one side and lose all the time on the other.. my skill does not change based on the side I play). But you people are blind and it is beyond annoying. Fix it or give us the option to join only repub vs repub or Imp vs Imp zones. Make it a choice cause if you blind dumb 896787678 s cant or dont want to balance it that is fine. We get it. But we should have a choice of not fighting way over powered opponents. Wake the **** up! And to those that will cry that it is about skill.. go play the other side and win as much or ****.
  2. No kidding. That is like saying "we added blue armor to your ship droid, so that should address the problem..." Non sequiturs are fun and all (actually I love them) but they do not address issues and we do not all have ADD so, your attempt to "ooohhhh shiney" us has failed!
  3. I agree that is why I suggest at least allowing them to get valor and commendations etc during that time to try to make up for it somewhat. Another idea what about handicapping... If you are on a short handed team, you get an incremental amount of commendations and valor based on how short handed the team was at the beginning. Just throwing out possible ideas. *lease jump in with more ideas
  4. thanks. Just a draft/rough thought. Would like to see it fleshed out with some feedback and tweaking so that maybe we can get something in place
  5. We all know how frustrating it is to be in a warzone where you start out with 4 or 5 people against a full squad. Adding to the frustration is when your team falls way behind, but the zone 120 second timer is almost over and people are added to make the WZ run the full length. Proposal for developers: When a warzone starts off 8v7, 8v6, 8v5 etc, allow the first 5, 6, or 7 people on the full strength side to exit the staging area and hold the rest back. When somebody dies, the people in the "hold area" can exit on a 1 dead person to 1 released person basis. The dead person would then be in the holding pattern. Kind of like the penalty box in Ice Hockey. As more players join the understaffed team, more slots would open for full play on the full staffed team. The players on the strong side would still get full valor so that they are not penalized for the weak side not having enough players, and the PvP match would stay evenly matched in player numbers (not trying to even out skill, gear, etc just numbers). This is a rough draft of the idea, so feel free to tweak or enhance the idea. Hell even propose other ideas, as long as we come up with some fix. (assume the first 3 flames that are to come are people who are so gimp that they only can win a PvP when they have 2 or more extra players over their opposition) hehe
  6. Thank you all for the well written reviews. here is my 2 cents: That could be because there is none.. well that isnt true, there is end game content, and mid game content, but it is very hard to utilize because of the poorly thought out grouping setup. Forming up groups is an after thought to this company that specializes in single player games and it was extremely apparent when you attempt to run flashpoints. Travel to them is very painful and ocne there, the dynamics of a 4 person group leave little to no room for 1 palyer to be a little weaker. The end result of this is that nobody wants to run pick up groups and take a chance on players that might make the trip to the flashpoint useless. So all you can do is PvP in these extremely lopsided PvP matches: In summary: End game does not work AT all because traveling to instances is nigh impossible and take an hour to get each person to the instance to start. PVP in one sided PVP crap matches that are either extremely dull or fruitless depending on your side (yes I tried both) Bioware really choked on this one. Probably the worst release of an "MMO" since Eve. If you have the 70ish bucks to blow on this game, enjoy the class quests and play the single player game (that was very well written). But, understand that this is anything but an MMO.
  7. People arent defending the RNG, Bioware or anything of the sort. They are defending themselves because they do not want to feel they got something that they did not deserve. I am not saying that they did or did not deserve it, but NOBODY gets this upset over something they hold no personal interest in. BTW if you think bags are an issue, how about trading kills. Maybe part of the problem is that Bioware didnt count on ths many BMs to be hitting that database for a long time; buit thanks to people trading kills, not there are tons of BMs all after a limited supply of tokens
  8. What ever teh cause, on many servers there appears to be an imbalance. Whichever side is the strongest PvP will continue to grow stronger and the oter side is stuck losing 8/10 WZs. I do not care which side is stronger. The suggestion is to make it irrelevant by creating random teams. No "side" gains an advantage by this. While I understand that some people need to feel superior and handily win everytime the play, so let them have the option to continue. I feel that the reason people are against this is because they know that most people will not enter a PvP that they know 99.99999999999 percent chance they will lose when there is an option to a fair (or chance of fair) fight. This pisses the wimps who get stomped in real life of. They have nobody to take their aggression out on if we do this. The basic point is that this is a pretty cool game but is falling in the same trap That Eve Online did at first. Yes they will survive, but with 100k subscriber, or millions... the call is youre Bioware.
  9. why be antagonistic? I am making a simple suggestion not trying to pick a fight to feed your ego or mine. A lot of us would like a system where there would be pvp without the sides being based on set abilities that might or might not be unbalanced (on a per server basis with each server being different of course). Maybe it isnt the best idea, but I am trying to come up with ones that dont attack others and claim "unfair unfair!!" Just griping or dogging ideas without puting counter ideas offers nothing.
  10. Very good points and that is why I suggested that people can have the option of the Imp vs Republic, but some of us want fights that are evenly matched without bi***ing about one class or side being overpowered. Just let there be a choice for random groups. If nobody likes it, it wont be used. What is the harm, unless you just want to force people into playing so you can beat up on them and pretend that you are winning tough fights or gripe cause you are losing (my grandma actually used to love to gripe and was not happy unless there was something to gripe about, so I know some people are actually like this). by the way I do not mean that as an attack, some people do like both those and they are valid options.
  11. PS Bioware STOP the adding of people to a short PVP session (eg 5 people or less) with 10 seconds left. They wont be able to help 8v5 for 110 seconds just let it farging expire.
  12. Before I start let me say this is not a ***** thread. On our server 80% of pvp is won by the Imps, on some servers it is the opposite and the victories are usually pretty one sided. This is not a complaint or *****. It cannot be fun for the winners or the losers (unless they like beating up on much weaker opponents, wives children etc) But a serious suggestion. Why not give us an option when we choose pvp: 1) for those that care more about the story line let them choose to stay Imp vs Republic 2) let the pvp groups be random mix with Imp and Republic in it (for those of us that care about a good fight) This does not ask for any classes or sides to be balanced. This does not ask to do anything abut the alleged Battlemaster kill traders that got there early. Let them stay as is or hash those fights out in another thread. The point is that if there are imbalances they will show up on both sides of the PVP fights and should even the battles out more. (and hopefully cut out some of the ************. Dont start arguments here, please. Just add to or adjust or create new positive suggestions. Maybe we can find a solution that works for everybody (except those that just like beating up on the weak).
  13. Just fyi, single healing multiple tanks is a ... challenge. 4 slot groups seemed nice at first, but not too sure abut it atm. (back on original topic again BTW)
