Just moved from iOS to Android using the info on this thread and (like the others have said) it took less than 5 minutes and was completely painless. I have no idea why BioWare didn't announce the fix. Then again, they never announced the problem (only replied to one-off threads), so maybe I do get it.

If there is no notice that the action will bind things to you, then it is still a bug. There should always be confirmation option before binding.

They used to be from Diplomacy, before BW reworked the skills 2 builds ago into the "1 craft skill, 1 basic mats skill, 1 rare mats/gifts skil" pattern for everything. Apparently someone forgot to recode their AH category.

There are 3 GTNs. Empire, Republic, and Black Market (Neutral, Nar Shaddaa). If you are not on Nar Shaddaa, you are accessing your faction's GTN.

So far, I've gotten all of mine (3) from Underworld Metal and Luxury Fabric missions.

It's just incomplete itemization. Annoying (particularly considering the fact that BW has been told about it for months, and through at least 3 builds), but hardly unusual for a fresh MMO.

Hopefully, you appreciate the willpower (no pun intended) it takes to not make a snarky comment here... No, not everything needs to be crafted. However, the things that are not crafted need to be balanced. Having 2 tank classes able to craft shields and the 3rd tank class unable to is unacceptable. Either all tanks can get crafted shields, or none can.

I swear this was in the patch notes for the last build before release. I haven't tried it yet, but you should be able to craft w/bank/cargo hold (technically, they are the same thing) mats.

I'm sad when I find a lightsaber that is completely moddable, AND I like the look...and the activation/deactivation sound sucks. My JK is currently using the Esseles saber that was meant for Sages (modded to use JK stats), which looks nice yet has a weak sound that I have never heard anywhere in Star Wars.

Why wouldn't you be able to? The only limiting factor is cash to run the missions.

Actually, your $5 went to the retailer, so that's not really the devs' problem. BioWare/EA demanded nothing for a preorder, and they have no control over retailers' preorder policies as far as deposits. I laid absolutely nothing down for a preorder from Amazon. Yes, it was an incentive to purchase the product, but they spelled out how things were going to go down as part of that incentive. It was going to be a staggered release based on preorder date, and you would get in somewhere between the 15th and the 20th, w/no promise as to when in that range. Them adding the 13th and 14th is just icing. I'm all for consumers standing up for themselves, but this sense of entitlement is ridiculous, and makes serious consumer efforts look a joke because they get compared to this insanity. Just because it is not going the way you want doesn't change the fact that is going down just like it was promised, w/a few extra days as bonus. If it really is that much of a burden to you, take the primary recourse for all consumers in a competitive market. Take your business elsewhere.
