  1. Hmm never saw the email in my inbox (but my monthly cc email was there). Guessing I'm S.O.L. Source: https://help.ea.com/en/article/swtor-share-the-love-february-2016/
  2. This is what I ended up going with. http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=21683949 I'm pretty happy with the performance all the way around. I was worried I used too much thermal paste but then I realized the temp reading was set to F when I'm used to seeing it in C
  3. Navigate to: \Users\usernamehere\AppData\Local\SWTOR\swtor\settings then double click on client_settings. Scroll down to the bottom and change the fullscreen to true. Save file and run game. There's no space in the \settings part ... not sure why the forum insists on putting one there.
  4. Thanks for the feedback I'll look at tweaking the set up and will post a modified build later on
  5. Howdy folks It's about time I buy another computer and I'm looking for some opinions before I commit. My current wish list build is as follows: Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced ASRock ASRock Fatal1ty Gaming Fatal1ty X99X EVGA 120-G2-1000-XR 80 Intel Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz Mushkin Enhanced Reactor 2.5" 256GB SATA III G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) I have not had a computer with liquid cooling and am considering a liquid cooler for this build. Any recommendations? I'm not sure what to get video card wise. I've narrowed it down between 2 R9 290's or a single R9 390. Unless of course I'm persuaded by suggestions from people with more knowledge than I since I haven't been keeping current with the latest video cards. This computer is expected to last 5 years or so, that's how long I typically keep computers. EDIT: This computer would be used about equally for gaming (hoping to get 60 fps for awhile) and surfing/streaming. With regards to the games I play; SW:ToR, Battlefront, BF4, and whatever else tickles my fancy. I might even look into trying Star Citizen
  6. The "appdata" folder is a hidden folder. You must take additional steps to be able to see it. For windows 7 do this: Right-click the Windows Logo button and choose Open Windows Explorer. Click Organize and choose Folder and Search Options. Click the View tab, select Show hidden files and folders and then clear the checkbox for Hide protected system operating files. For windows 8 do this: Access the Control Panel. ... Type "folder" into the search bar and select Show hidden files and folders. Then, click on the View tab at the top of the window. Under Advanced Settings, locate "Hidden files and folders." ... Click on OK.
  7. You will have a split legacy as well. So any progress made on server A won't be reflected in server B. To clarify the stronghold decorations, they don't get lost they just aren't set up. If you're only transferring one character and it has stuff in the legacy bank, put it in your cargo hold or inventory. Legacy banks are not shared across servers.
  8. Open your skills tab, legacy section, drag the icon to your hot bar (or just double click it) and it should show up.
  9. Short answer is yes. But if you keep one or more players on the old server, the legacy will not be linked. Meaning if you play on the old server any legacy points earned won't be earned on the new server. Things to take notice of and address BEFORE the transfer (lessons learned from when I transferred ): Anything in your legacy storage bank WILL NOT transfer over. You must empty it into your inventory and cargo hold. The cargo hold WILL transfer over. Stronghold decorations WILL transfer over, but will not be "in place" at the new stronghold. Items you have for sale on the GTN will NOT transfer over. Items in the mail will NOT transfer over. Hopefully I didn't forget anything.
  10. I think you should be punished for leaving ranked war zones. A lock out from the daily is reasonable, and if you've turned in the daily already, then a loss of 20 ranked coms each time you sissy quit.
  11. I can usually play half a match before the other team focuses on me with stunlock -> burst to death (lowbie pvp 10-29) as a vigilance guardian. It's so annoying to be rocking the first half of the match only to be completely sidelined the second half. I'm not a great pvper but I'm learning. I'm leveling this guardian mostly on pvp and the rest is the class story. So I still have a lot to learn and I realize that I don't have all of my skills yet. But it is very disheartening to be up against a team of nothing but fotms and having no chance of winning
  12. Sheesh, why don't you folks just put this anonnn on your ignore list? Click his name and then click add to ignore list on the lower right corner.
  13. If the temporary charger isn't putting out enough amps to charge the battery you won't be able to run anything that has a significant power drain because the battery isn't actually charging. You can safely use a charger that has more output amps than the laptop requires as the laptop will only use what it needs.
  14. I'm not going to bother reading this thread to see if anyone else has posted the obvious solution so here goes. There's a credit cap setting already in place at the bottom of the page. Use that and no more over purchasing because those items simply won't show up in the listings. LoL Suromir beat me to it in the thread above mine
