  1. I'm having the same issue. When the mission told me to use the ''Ossus Mission Board'' it didn't give me any of the missions and I just pick them up manually at the speeder points. The weekly to kill the worldboss however is only obtainable from the mission board so I found out soon enough that my mission board is bugged. I haven't been able to pick up the quest to kill the Ossus worldboss ever since completing the story line (on several alts too).
  2. Hello there! I have returned to this game after a 1,5 year break, and decided to try out how PVE (mainly operations) are. However, my current gear is all PVP gear from a long time ago so it's probably quite useless now. Can anyone help with a way to get some decent gear for the SM operations?
  3. What my meaning was of that quote was that some people think noobs make mistakes on purpose. For instance: They cap an objective and leave it, without defending it. You think they do it on purpose, they think they just did the right thing. You get it? Some people aren't that 'experienced' in warzones to know what the normal thing is. And yes, English isn't my first language, sorry. Thank you for correcting me, but I think if you did that to all of my posts, you would have been busy for a while .
  4. Thanks to everyone for responding, I'll try to answer some of you. I agree some people don't like being helped, I will never understand those However, there's someting about your last sentence. You're not paying sub for their enjoyment. So you say, that when the match is going terrible, leaving is a good sollution? If everone would leave the warzone, this would cause warzones just stopping after seeing the other team has a premade. You get my point? I understand it might be frustrating but you need to get used to losing when you enter a que. Not every warzone will turn out great, but that's the concequence of queing -- I won't accuse you of a troll, I take every comment serious I have seen that warzone from both sides, losing with zero points or winning against zero points. But that's not always the mistake of noob players, sometimes it's something no one can do about. I've seen a ton of warzones where we couldn't cap an objective with a whole team, because a 4 man premade with 2 healers and a tank kept us busy. You can say it's a lack of DPS, stunlocks or interupts, but it's also healers being overpowerd, especially sages. -- I understand, you play for your own fun, but is it fun when other leave your warzone? Is it fun when you join an in progress warzone? Is it fun to win a warzone because the opposing team left the warzone? Leaving is a solution for your own problem, but it might be more frustrating for the losing group than you. -- 7 vs 6 might seem an easy quest on the first view, but you don't know which 7 players fight against 6 players. It depends on gear, experience, premades and mostly on class. People not winning 3 v 1 where you solo'd him? I guess this is literally impossible, you are just making something up to make it look worse. There is no single class who can't be defeated by three classes at the same time. Even sages can be taken down by 3 bad speccs, noobs or not. If you can solo him, maybe he used all of his def cds on someone else wanted a qt . When they can't 2 v 1, maybe its an overpowerd class or a good player. -- I completely agree with you. The last time I leaved warzone was maybe one year ago when I saw a hacker on our team. I know, hackers are an easy win, but it's not the way I like the win. That's also the reason I dont play sorcerer or sage -- Again, thanks for posting your answers! Remember, I'm not saying leaving makes you a bad person, but it's not the best decision you can take in my opinion.
  5. Greetings! As a daily unranked warzone player I have a question for all of the others queing. Why do you decide to leave? I mean, of course, I understand that it might be 'frustrating' losing a match and getting a little less commendations. Yes, you are paying your subscription or for your pass so you deserve to decide wether to leave or not. But do you know there are also other players that don't leave? There are actually people who just stay in the warzone, no matter what happens. Dumb? Maybe. But without those players, warzones would just stop when someone stealth caps a node, and the defender didn't call incoming. Warzones would stop when someone couldn't pass the ball in huttball while being stunlocked. I am one of those people stay, and my reason to stay is because I know that when I leave, someone else joins who has nothing to do with this warzone. That person loses (or leaves, and someone else joins) because you don't want to stay. I'm seeing warzones where 5 or 6 people leave the group (and sometimes they join again, and then leave again ) and the warzone ends with a big loss. Joining, being, or getting farmed in a match isn't fun, but it's kinda your fault that it happens. 1 Person can mess it up, but it's your decision not to make the same mistake. I'm not saying that if you leave, it's 100% your fault and you should be punished, but it's certainly not the best decision for the team. Also, I've had enough experience in warzones to see that losing a node or losing a point isn't that bad. It might lead to a loss, especially if you leave, yes. The team needs to do the 8-man job with the remaining squad, because 1 person didn't want to lose. Sometimes when a node gets capped, it has a good reason. It might even get recapped, and you might even win! Small chance? As an objective player I think that leaving a warzone just ruins the match. So you aren't any better than the person who messed it up in my eyes. The person who decides to cap, and run away, stays. You can (attempt to) try to explain what he did wrong, and make sure he won't do it again. You can defend yourself. Before you comment: I know you leave because there are premades, a lot of sages, they have someone who just beats you up every warzone, you have someone who doesn't read the chat ( or doesn't use it). I'm just curious why you still leave, knowing someone will 'absorb' your loss. And for the people who actually do leave because of the noobs in their team : You think they are noobs? Explain them what to do better instead of just ragequiting. They will never get better if no one teaches them how to. Are there any others who agree with me? Or am I just being alone here?
  6. Hello everyone! I recently started playing marauder again, so I have to figure out my gear (again). Which statts are recommended for PVP Annihilation specc ? (unranked warzones) Statts would be great, but ofc gear/ augments / enhancements will do as well. Do as you please Also, one off-topic question: How do you guys spread your DoTs? I think it's hard since it takes some time to do the 'smash' animation, and you have to stay within 5m of the dotted person and another one for it to work. Do you combo it with immobilize ravage? Let me hear!
  7. I would nerf sorcs by removing them.
  8. This is what I searched , for thanks.
  9. Hello guys , I've played concealment before, but started playing it again recently. I noticed other operatives having this 'burst' rotation with: 'Sleep dart > snipe > debilitate > ?????' . The first thing I'm looking for , is this rotation. Most operatives seem to use it, and the rotation that I use is simply the abilites that get of cd in a logic way . Second question: What is the gear that works the best for YOU. So no guides, just what you use ( especially augments). Thanks in advance !
  10. This. I haven't seen ANY warzone without 1 sage on each team (except arena), and most people have gotten sick of sages/sorcs, even though most of them plays it themself.
  11. I've played sniper for a few months now, and I think I can provide you some usefull information. Note: this information was caugh with the same armor, so it might not be maxed for each class! Virulance(/lethality): Not that good. The only 'burst' you have is the channeling ability cull and the finisher. My record on that is 3K dps, but that was the easiest warzone I've ever had (no one focussing on me, both teams 3 healers, whole warzone at the same spot). Good: -Damage over time (DOT) damage which spread with your corrosive grenade, which is great. -Deals constant damage, which can be combinated with one burst hit to suprise healers (they do not expect the burst when they get those crits) - Drops an acid bomb when you roll, making it harder for melee to follow you Bad: - The DOT's require a 'long' time to put it on a target, and you need to have it on one to deal some good damage. Meanwhile people can run out of range , and you have to reapply them. - People can break your cull by hiding behind an object, even though most people will not do that. - 1 v 1 battles are harder when people just cleanse your dots without you noticed it, or reflecting your cull for a ton of dmg in your face Marksmanship: Great damage, knockbacks (even more with utilities), and good burst. Ambush, penetrating shots and followthrough are great hitters, but you have to use the rest of the rotation to deal good damage, which brings me to the bad points: Bad: -Might be confusing whenever you get stunned mid battle, where to start your rotation -Good jugs can simply reflect on the right moment, which can take up to 50% of your life ( I've seen a 34k crit reflect on a screenshot) Good: -With the utility knockback on penetrating shots, has a great use versus melee targets or healers: Sometimes I go for the suicide mission, when the healer is 50%. Just roll into him and continue your rotation. Your knockbacks and stuns will be usefull (within 10m) for interupting Engineering: Great damage, more area damage and one dot which deals great damage. Bad: - people can easily run away from your area attack - Deals good burst, but spread through your series of shots, which leaves time to break the line of sight and interupting your burst. Good: - Extra stun (30meter) - People (juggs) are less likely to use reflect on the right moment with this specc - Your roll immobilizes targets, even though they have a full resolve. (bug) Very usefull against melee. My specc: I switch mostly between engineering and marksmanship, but I mostly stay on marksmanship since this can create the most DPS (as far as I know). TIPS: Location: -30M/35M is most preferable, mostly on hidden locations. -Try to stay in the back of the group, but not to far from the group. Targets 30m from the group will become easy targets for stealthers Use of abilities: - Roll: great for absorbing damage and creating range. Use to roll behind walls to interupt LoS, or to absorb some crits. - Shield probe, use whenever you notice someone focussing on you. Losing about 5% (no area damage) makes me activate mine. It is also my first ability I use after my stun, since you can expect burst coming. - Entrench: One of the best tools you got. Makes people not stun you, and can absorb some good area damage with the utility. Used whenever you notice melee people focussing on you, since you can see them coming, so you know they'll stun you whenever they're within 5m. Also usefull when near a gap or something, so people cant throw you in. Rotation and gear: Not my best part, check the forums / dulfy for that Feel free to ask me more !
  12. First off: Welcome back You have posted this in the operative/scoundrel forum, but I'll answer it for you. Marksmanship is the best for more HP targets, engineering for area damage and virulence (old name is lethality) is not viable for low level mobs, since you'll have to enable all your dots before killing them. I'd take engineering if you want to burn through the mobs, because you won't see that much more HP targets. Note: If you want to PVP/PVE later, you can learn your rotation while leveling, which I think is great! Hope this is enough info for you
  13. Thanks! Maybe I shouldn't be that lazy About the post: I have about the same you are telling, I know him in real life and he couldn't/wouldn't lie about it.
