To summarize: There are no enemy tanks in Baghdad!

I never said anyone else in this thread isn't making quality threads I only pointed out at one person who only know how to use insults as an argument. And some other marauders, where only a few managed to keep the discussion without insults or I am an uber pvp'er or everyone else needs 2lp. And to be frank a lot of posts have been made with what you wrote. So if we are talking about bandwagon, I guess only the first post which pointed out that there's an imbalnce can be seen as original. I know marauders like tell other people about their flaws. But the fact is that ppl are leaving the game in large chunks atm. Mostly due to the somewhat out of control burst dmg from all dps, not only marauders. The problem is with marauders, is their ability where they cannot take any dmg for 4 sec. Now earlier that was maybe a bit over the top, but after the dmg increase 4 sec. is much. I stopped playing on my marauder for the same reasons, because I actually find it stupid to have that ability. Ofc Marauders are not invincible, but I still think they need a tweak, to make them more balanced with the rest of the dps. People will always whine about one class being OP. But I never seen so many threads about a single class before in a MMO. Which ofc should tell all ppl loving their marauders something.

In what wz are marauders not some of the best? I find I have a good time in Huttball with mine especially when u need to get it the last few meter over the goal line, push godlike I cannot die button. In Civil War I find it good because you can defend or attack a turret alone, if there's only few defenders attackers. When defending and waiting for backup press the godlike I cannot die buttong. In Voidstar, Small play areas, hard for people to kite you unless they stay at the pillars. I haven't found a wz where a marauder is out of it's element.

I actually did post about why I found Marauders being OP atm. But you clearly forgot to read that. And again with the no you! And didn't you just write that you made quality posts? and now you cannot even refer to them yourself... hmmm... This is the 2nd time you got served. You need to come up with some intelligent arguments soon. This is almost getting too easy and boring just like when I play on my marauder.

Show me the quality posts you made. And again you don't discuss the actual things I pointed out but are more busy with everything else. Anyway this is going nowhere with you, since you don't wan't to discuss the problems in the game in a mature way. But are more busy trying to turn the focus away from the problems. I might respond to you if you can put some lines together why the game is balanced as it is now. Unbiased please and with real arguments, not just everyone who doesn't play a marauder are bad at pvp. If you somehow manage that I might respond, but clearly your "quality" posts are not even worth responding to. No arguments, there nothing in them. As already stated look up quality.

What quality post? I think you need to look up quality. Anyway I cannot be bothered more with fanboys who only got one thing in mind keeping their own toon at the top, disregarding any common sense. The sad part is that you are actually destroying the game you find it so amusing to have an imbalanced toon in. People quit the game, but as long as you got the right toon it ofc doesn't matter. Have fun playing with yourself, and make yourself believe it's because you were too good for this game that everyone left. EDIT: And again you forget the real problem here. There's some serious issues with SWOTR like it or not. Raging against people pointing that out won't make people stop quitting and saving the game for you. So take a deep breath and try to think with an unbiased view on things. It will surprise you, new worlds will open up for you and new and better games too.

If you have been keeping tab on various guilds and seen how many actually left you would be surprised. Funny how everyone can be on the top of their server? EDIT: Anyway if everyone who are defending the patch are in top of their server... and marauders, shouldn't it tell you something? It's ofc understandable that marauders seek to advocate that the patch is good. However keep in mind that this patch actually ended in a mass exodus that haven't ended yet. A lot of ppl have unsubbed but still got remaining days left. The population will dwindle over the next couple of months. So a plea to fellow marauders try to look at it with a litlle less biased eyes. Yes it's fun to be on my marauder, when I know my kills are because I interrupted at the right times etc. And no it's not fun, when I can make mistakes vs. good players with the wrong chars and still get a kill. However I guess it will balance out when 50%+ of all wz consists of pure Marauders.

One of my chars is an Marauder and it's actually fun the first 10 wz... then it's becomes just as boring as doing the spacequest. People that were better than me before the patch is getting kicked around now, like they were a ragdoll in a bad action movie.

I gave up on the discussion about what is imbalanced and what is not. I just unsubbed, couldn't care if the fanboys are saying that Bioware is doing a great job. I've seen free MMO's with better balance. However I do find it odd that you have two sith warrior classes a dps and a tank class. I found it really amusing when I discovered I had more survival cds than the Juggernaut. If I was a tank class I would be thinking ***, why does the dps class got my skills? But I found my marauder to be a bit over the top prepatch, with it's invincibility cds. And they got short cds aswell. After the patch, it's was fun for awhile, but just for awhile. It's not fun to wreck everyone who is not a marauder, and know it's not because of playerskills it's because you got a toon in your hands that got some abilities that should never have been introduced to a char in pvp. And yes when I don't got my cd's ready I feel a bit more squishy than before the patch, but all classes are more squishy. PvP feel like running around with a flamethrower among paper dolls. Fun for some fights then boring as hell. I like when you are up against a good player with good skill that if you make a mistake, interrupting the wrong thing then you are most likely to die. Granted the marauder with cd's can often survive mistakes and make a come back. So no there's according to Bioware and the fanboys no imbalance in the game. It's just about rolling the right char that takes next to no skill to play. We will probably see in the next patch everyone else get boosted even more in dmg to match the melee classes. I imagine patch 1.3 something like this. Everyone are able to oneshot anyone. You only have to use wsad and one other button (dmg skill). Everyone of the remaining players are happy, noone is imbalanced, noone have to think about tactics etc. Just run forward press a button and hope you are the first one to push it.

You do know there's a lot of MMOs who doesn't have elves etc.? So your try at being sarcastic and smirk kinda back fires here. Anyway I see by your remark alone, no decent discussion will come out of it. Everyone who doesn't love SWOTR needs a sarcastic remark, which ofc just makes my previous comment stronger.

If I should give any advice, and I probably shouldn't. Stop looking a WOW, the brand is now so strong so trying to compete with that game on Blizzards terms is suicide. People leaving WOW is looking for something else, and a new universe with lightsabers won't cut it. You need to focus your attention to why people left WOW and not how to make a make over for a wow clone.

As you stated earlier there's a lot of games out there, so why would anyone give them time? I would not throw money into a game that at many points feels like a beta version of a game. Especially considering how strong a firm is behind it, they should have enough money to be able to come out with a product that doesn't make people quit in large hordes. You also have to consider what name the game carries, Star Wars, the name alone is expensive to use. So ofc a lot of people were hoping for a better game as they see now. I personally unsubbed, because I am having trouble to see the Biowares visions for this game, but a meager wow copy, just with pew pew and light sabers. I hoped for new ideas from a firm as Bioware. One thing I really liked was the storyline, it was one aspect of the game I found was well produced. I am not really into reading a lot and watching a lot of cutscenes. But these were well made, with a nice pinch of humour. But coming down to that, A single player game like Skyrim or Fallout seem like a better choice. Which ultimately brought me to the conclusion that it was time for me to unsub. If you still enjoy the game and feel it is your money worth, then by all means invest in what you feel like can entertain you.
