Fact of the matter is this is similar to WoW when it first came out. Dungeons were kinda... Crap... And all there was to run for raids was molten core (which was also kinda crap). Honestly its gonna take a few patches for endgame content to catch up if you are level 50 already.

If you live in a rural area or outside the US, its sorta the norm to have a data plan, especially if you have satellite internet.

I actually like the lack of a day/nigh cycle. I work during the day, and it gets old always playing at night on WoW. I want sunshine and cheerfulness if I am in a sunshine and cheerfulness zone and dark and gloomy if I am in a dark and gloomy zone. I like being on rails, that way i dont get lost or sidetracked. I can explore, but its not exactly required. This is why I dislike bethesda games, its to easy to get lost and go off the rails.

I think people are dramaticlly overstating ninja looting in the LFG tool in WoW. I had plenty of ninja's in BC, Vanilla, and Wrath pre LFG (The worst was having the Commendation of Kael'thas ninja'd TWICE by idiot warriors or paladins on my druid tank). Post LFG, you know what? I still had ninja's, and their were just as many. It didn't matter AT ALL. People who ninja do so whether or not they are in a random group with the LFG tool or if they are with people they found in general chat. (If your interested, I was on rexxar, which had a rather infamous guild that was known to ninja loot - and they were around BEFORE the LFG tool.)

Im sure we will see some buffs/nerfs to classes as time goes on. The game has only been out for a week, give them time to collect some more data as people hit 50 and balance will happen. End game should be a DPS race, other wise as people have pointed out you just heal/tank everything. I know some classes are worse then others atm, but have faith that bioware will make changes.

Is there some sort of secret to shuttle space missions? It seems like no matter how many missiles I spam at frigates or fighters I shoot down my shuttle always bites the dust. I can't even really tell how damage is getting done, I cant insta-gib every thing, and slowly the health just disappears and I fail. I can easily do every other kind of mission (and complete the bonus missions) with timely missile barrages and strafing, but escorts elude me

The games a week old, and already people have "beaten" it. I don't know if I should be surprised it took this long or sad that my server is no where close to this.

There is absolutally no reason not to at least have a basic LFG tool, and at least put you in a server wide LFG channel. Right now its broken and worthless and impossible to find groups unless its people from your guild. There is little reason not to have a que system similar to the PVP one, though it would be nice if both let you que for a specific warzone or flashpoint instead of a random one. Server wide or cross server, I don't care, and the people whining about it either have rose tinted glasses are idiots. I remember tanking and healing in classic WoW and burning Crusades. You know what? It sucked to try and get a heroic, or even a random dungeon group together. You sat in IF or Shat or whatever and spammed for hours, and even then you sometimes didn't get a group. And when you did, if you got baddies, it was over. You wipped on shattered halls trash or couldn't get past the first half of BRD and that was that. A LFG tool like WoWs is a great step forward, community be damned. You can still group with guildies.

Welp, the CD drive on my computer is all kinds of busted, so I decided to just download the game last night and play today. 13 hours (and counting) later, I am on Game Client 17, and the game is STILL downloading and installing. Just how many more patches and updates do I have, I am over 21 GB and counting! Anyone have any sort of ETA or guesstimate of data remaining for me?
