  1. "House Koriaya? Yes I am a part of this organization... No, I do not know anything about 'unauthorized use of force' against the Republic... Yes, I would say that my experience hasn't been unpleasant... What was this for again?" -Lord Carr
  2. This is an Open Letter to any Bioware employee, I understand that there is a lot of dissatisfaction with a lot of customers about the most recent 1.2 patch going live. However, it is my belief that some of the problems present could be alleviated rather simply. The major error with the way the Public Test Server is having to level a character from 1 - 50 on a server that is only up when a patch needs to be tested. By doing this you are effectively cutting off people who are willing to put time to level a character to 50, by not keeping the server up all of the time. Furthermore, you are not getting the correct demographic for what you are testing. Having customers level from 1 to 50 is redundant as almost none of the 1 to 49 content is new, if you are including the legacy content, and can be tested on the live servers. Anyone who does decide to create a character on the PTS and level it to 50 will be doing so on a character the most likely do not already have and wont know very well as they only play it when a new patch is about to come out, as mentioned earlier. Effectively, you have a very small number of players using classes they are most likely not very familiar with or as familiar as the class they play on the live servers. The solution is easy. Allow players to clone one or as many characters as they wish to the PTS or simply allow players to role a level 50 character. I might also suggest supplying the characters with the highest tier of gear a default mail, as done with various other items. This will allow players to test the content or PvP as intended rather than worrying about gear differentials you can focus on the proper balance of classes, customization, and exactly how dependent on gear ops are in comparison to competency. This would also give players the opportunity to test out a class they are interested in. Instead of picking one randomly the customer can inform themselves through a trial period, if you continue to have the servers offline for various amounts of time. Thus, after finding a game play style they enjoy they can go through the levels traditionally knowing full well what lies in store rather than finding out it is not a good fit half way through, getting discouraged, and quitting the game. I implore you to take this open letter seriously whether you agree with some statements and not others. There is a large and diverse resource of player testers that are not being tapped into that could serve to better the game. -A Concerned Player
  3. Will there ever be a visual target of target feature in the game? For further explanation. The best way I can relate would be one like in World of Warcraft where there is a smaller additional portrait beside your target's portrait showing who they are targeting.
