  1. I did not read the entire thread nor did I want too. The discussion of def spec vs hybrid vig is really on what the player likes doing. If you like hoping all over the place for guardian leap proc too each its own, not my game play stay. But the reason for the post. Gear bonuses. You get a 20% increase to blade barrier every time you use it. Maybe been stated before but this makes hybrid spec nuked if you want to take advantage of the bonus. TL;DR Maybe been mention before, 20% increase in blade barrier mitigation with gear bonus which make hybrid nuked. Blade barrier FTW.
  2. I LOVE YOU! This should be sticky if its not already. My main is a tank and I love you for this post!
  3. As anyone seen the set bonus for tanking raid gear. With 4 pieces it gives you 20% damage reduction with blade barrier if you don't have this skill you can not rep the benefit of the set bonus.
  4. Never seen this relic. Can you post a link from Torhead so I can see what you talking about. A relic with such high power and give 74 endurance is nice, I need that.
  5. And for skill rotation leap, force sweep (it stuns standards and weak), add your sunder stack, blade storm, add sunder stack, force sweep if its up if not sunder stack again, use combat focus here if you low on focus blade storm again if its up if not slash, I can't remember all the skills you have at that level but this rotation will take out all mobs. If you need more help tell me all the active skills you have. But remember you always want to get your 5 stacks of sunder on a target it decrease there armor by a good margin. You want to do force sweep as much as possible to keep there debuff of accuracy up which causes them to miss. Also with riposte you get a 6% defense proc for 6 secs when spec (don't know if you have it yet) and it doesn't respect the GDC learn to use it every time it comes up. Soon as you see it available use that first.
  6. Make sure to get the skill that add extra sunder stacks also increase damage as soon as possible. Not sure of your level but for a level 25 tank I would do something like this http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#500dMuZhMM.1 Finish out riposte and then immediately cap blade barrier.
  7. You might want to try Force Exhaustion. Has a slow, a Dot that deals 1500 damage, and then does over 800 damage.
  8. It has no use in end game for range mobs, they do not move anyway. Plus a tree is gimp if a talent use is only for leveling or running lol. Who wants a tank that runs.
  9. I don't see how people think leap frogging back and forward just to get a 4 sec proc is a viable tank spec.
  10. Awesome I love it. Then all you would have to do is stack defense. The more defense you have the more aggro you generate.
  11. This also happens in PVE. Also the UI locks up on me at least one every hr in this game especially doing fights with lots of animation. Bioware we need you to take a look at this issue it is really hindering gameplay.
  12. Both of those talents are free using no focus cost which is the reason for the stipulation of an npc being stun or slowed. These are great skills against strongs are lower virtually killing a mob faster. Even in endgame they are useful because you can down mobs faster without having to build a lot of focus. If you think about it bosses make up a small amount of this game there are way more strongs and standards in this game making this great skills. On the pvp side utterly useless. TL;DR these skills are free to use when the stipulation has been meet thats why they only work on strongs and lower. With the damage they deal this will make the powers OP agaisnt bosses and PVP unless they made them cost focus. Edit: I am a Guardian Tank and as a Guardian I can get these skills to proc anytime I like very easy. Hilt strike, fore stasis(if talented to not to be channel) blade storm, force leap if talented for 2 sec stun, awe, force freeze. Also when group every class have slows and stuns and these skills are virtually up to use 90% of the time.
  13. There are benefits. If you don't have enough lightside are darkside points there are certain gear and speeders you can't use or buy. Total fail on bioware part. It is best to go all dark or all light or miss opportunities to use certain items.
  14. The dark-side always lead to the dark-side. Makes absolutely no sense of a dark-side Jedi. Every Jedi that fell to the dark-side became a sith lord, ie Darth Vader. And the ones that fell to the darkside but came back to the light side was no longer dark. So a Sith lord posing as a Jedi Knight is utterly ridiculous.
