Black Talon Scout's rifle IS the same rifle from the first pic. It's just a matter of perspective.

Speaking of coloured chestpieces does anyone know if there are any orange variants of the chestpieces trooper NPCs wear on Taris? I know one with a shoulder pad with similiar colours is a reward from one of the heroics on Voss but I'm looking for something more Taris trooper looking.

I still don't see the big deal behind that 3% less damage, especially in PvP. I could understand that in hard flashpoints or stuff like that but in PvP where fights don't take as much time the difference is pretty much nonexistant. Also correct me if I'm wrong but don't rifles have a higher min damage meaning you can dish out more reliable damage instead of potentially higher damage which has a chance to be as bad as a rifle?

It hurts me immensely to know that helmet is only a green item and not an orange one. Wish there was an Imperial scout or whatever you want to call it set on Cartel Market.

Try telling that to the "pros". The whole 3% less damage is gonna drive them ******* insane when they realize you're using a rifle instead of an auto cannon. Besides I've yet to play an operation and I doubt I'd be let in one if I would be using a rifle just because of that whole 3% less damage and them all going "omg uninstall noob" "dont know how to play class" etc., etc.

Thanks again. But still does anyone know if there's an orange of this? Also I found out that one name for this item is Lacquer Mesh Headpiece but all I found were blues and greens and I'm wondering if maybe there are other items looking the same way but orange and with different names.

Hah, if I could find it's pic I wouldn't be asking because I could simply backtrack it. Well, here's the thing - it looks closely to this http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/c/c4/German_helmet.svg/550px-German_helmet.svg.png Except it's more blocky and has back neck and ear covers. It's found on lower level Imperial Troopers when playing the Republic missions.

Well the question is straighforward. Furthermore around what level does it drop, is it orange at some point or is it only a green armor piece? I'd really like to know before I commit to this character because visuals matter the most for me in these kinds of games.
