  1. I love this game, so much so that among my 250 Steam games, this is the one I play the most, so I always make sure to pay my subscription and buy a lot of CC, many times the price of a game! With that in mind, I say, I'm not going to worry right now, I'm going to take Keith Kanneg's word and wait for the facts to unfold, not taking any reckless actions, except continuing to play. Since I entered the game, I've seen several apocalypses and probable ends for this game, it seems that there are people who love a drama and bury the game several times, I'm not like that, I love this game, I want it to live a long time yet .If you have to give up dubbed stories for that, no problem, in fact I think this game should have already started saving on dubbing and saving money for the story, as well as selling its expansions (even to subscribers like me , only with a discount, lol), as long as they are neat! Without negative and apocalyptic thoughts, I'll be waiting for the unfolding of the story! Also because it would be stupid to cancel or turn on maintenance mode in a game, which was growing a lot on Steam, in the last few months it had been maintaining a peak of 20 to 30% gain of players and I totally know that E.A is not dumb! In fact, the measure aims to bring more content, even if small, to maintain this growth or avoid a drop in numbers.
  2. More Kotor II outfits! https://preview.redd.it/2x5zwe97drla1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&v=enabled&s=ff7fd61d747bf8f70382962897b6a8da7014300f Twin Sun Assassins (Seer'aa & Teer'aa) https://preview.redd.it/uuv09p9jerla1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&v=enabled&s=2c608e079ecc68f1ef64b03a9af5f3ace963cb95 Darth Traya (Atris)
  3. I would like to see in swtor the following combat styles: Count Dooku Combat Style: combining Makashi's moves, with lightning force and the use of telekinesis. Makashi is the most used form of combat in this period and since its release, no character is able to use it. Starkiller Combat Style: Using the reverse form of Shien, with access to Force Lightning, Force Maelstrom and being able to do a kind of reverse push, bringing the enemy close to him. Sith Alchemist Combat Style: A combat style based on Sith alchemy and magic: It would be possible to enchant weapons temporarily increasing damage, turn enemies into rakghouls that would fight for the char, resurrect and control dead enemies and summon Sithspawns. This combat style would make the character very similar to the necromancer class seen in other games such as Diablo. Necromancers in RPG games are usually one of the most played styles, just see in Diablo 3 there were so many requests for this character class, that it returned in the expansion and since then, it has not been left out of the Diablo series games. In Old Republic, the class that would bring this to the game would be the Sith alchemy and magic combat style. This class would not only attract the attention of Star Wars fans, but other RPG players as well, who know and play a Necromancer. Luke Skywalker Combat Style: Similar to the Vengeance style, but with abilities like the Consular's rock throwing, Force Push, and the casting of green Force Lightning, Force Judgment. Ahsoka Tano Combat Style: It would be the form of the StarKiller Combat style light above. The character would use two inverted lightsabers and make use of rock throwing and a lot of Force Push. Makashi Light Side Combat Style: It would be the light side version of the Count Dooku Combat combat style, it would not have Force Lightning cast. Melee Tech Combat Style: A style that allows tech classes to use vibroswords or even lightsaber, but without the force effects, perhaps interspersing vibroswords/lightsaber attacks with blaster shots and bomb launches at close range.
  4. It would be wonderful, I approve the idea! Bump for the date too, lol!
  5. Yes, there are many alternatives to save expenses and do something really cool, it just takes the desire to want to improve the game. Another favorite game of mine is Skyrim, the community works miracles there, there are players, like you and me, who created companions from scratch, with mesh that doesn't even exist within the game, called friends to dub the conversations of this companion, which is so human and interactive, it doesn't even feel like a companion, but a player. All this companion is free. The Anniversary Edition of Skyrim launched with community-created content, so I don't think it's embarrassing for Bioware to ask the community for help so it can improve the game. I'm sure there are fans here who would volunteer in exchange for just having their name in the credits, which would be too much for a Star Wars fan.
  6. I totally agree with everything you wrote. I got to know SWTOR through a youtube video that showed Jaesa's return. I fell in love with the game and the character, lol! I decided to give him a chance and I was surprised by the characters' story, just perfect and also because of the companions, who are by far the best! Due to the story, I finished the game with all the my characters, I currently have over 2000 hours of gameplay, which is a lot since I started playing in the middle of 2020. Unfortunately, what attracted me to the game, has been lost. The story is getting poorer and poorer, the characters are often just thrown into it, the companions are losing their participation in the story and all charisma, as they look more than ever like zombies or robots. I would like the story to be more worked out and the companions to be more alive as before. I wouldn't mind a bit if your speeches became just texts for that. My numbers in SWTOR 2,101 hours, 80 of which in the last two weeks. In the meantime I participated in only 5 pvp, 6 group activities, none of them rides or OPs. Now that there is no story I usually spend my time doing solo missions to conquer the seasons and assembling outfits with Cartel Coins items for my characters and companions. I'm waiting for more content, say history or some interaction with my companions. I would really like that in this new story, it was possible to use my original companions and not one chosen by you. I can't wait to get my Jaesa back into action!
  7. Ambrodel and mike_carton, thanks so much for all the help! I was already giving up on taking cool pictures of SWTOR, I finally managed to take a really cool one. It didn't turn out 100% as I would like, but it turned out much better than it was! Look: https://gyazo.com/b5bdc42436b4852a01cfdf339ab20e2e Although it turned out very good, SWTOR urgently needs a better camera system for photos, one that allows the zoom to be focused on your character and not in the scenario.
  8. Great idea, i miss it so much. It would be interesting to read the history of the player characters or simply their description. This would definitely help the SWTOR RPG community a lot! I totally approve!
  9. I know the question seems a bit noob, but in three years of SWTOR I still haven't learned. What can I do to center the camera like this: https://torf.mmo-fashion.com/darth-augurus-darth-malgus-2/ The big problem is that my camera is way above my character, no matter how far away I put it. https://gyazo.com/263aaca9f6b49442ff02b537d1d3e183 https://gyazo.com/9a7ec9a7654c0a7df50808bd5eca1054 I just wish I could take a picture like this: https://gyazo.com/3357a89e6f8455ea6e6b3c118b9fb8bf Or like this: https://gyazo.com/d8f2e0a4a64b4f78b69e8a44e56af9bb Unfortunately I can only do this during cinematics, when the camera changes. Is it possible to change the camera so I can take pictures like the ones I posted above? Is there any way to lower this camera, so that it only shows my character and not all that part of the top?Would it be possible to increase the resolution of the photos as well?
  10. I loved this suggestion, this Kotor mechanic was great. It would also be nice to be able to use certain abilities of the companions during some moments.
  11. Flying mounts would really look perfect in the game and I don't think they really need to fly, just increase the hover distance a little bit.
  12. A Stronghold on Oricon would be perfect, as it is a very strong place on the dark side of the force and reminds a lot of Mustafa! A Stronghold similar to Vader's would be perfect!
  13. I think a pvp combat style like that would be perfect within SWTOR, I'm sure it would attract many new players! The chosen characters could be the main character and even companions. Can you imagine how cool it would be to play with your companion, with him leading a troop of imperial or republican soldiers? Leaving prejudices aside, it would be a great idea and it has everything to do with Star Wars!
  14. FFXIV follows WOW's example, you need to buy it to play, pay a monthly fee to continue playing a game you paid for and still buy expansions! With the sale of the game and expansions alone, the amount collected by FFXIV in a year is certainly much higher than what SWTOR raises in three years. So how can we expect SWTOR to deliver a complete expansion like that of FFXIV, if SWTOR is free, your subscription is not mandatory and the expansion is free for subscribing players? ESO is also purchased and your subscription is not mandatory for you to play it, its revenue is apparently lower than that of FFXIV, but much higher than that of SWTOR, since the game must be purchased in order for the player to be able to play some of the content. So both comparisons were unfair, it's only natural that a game that has a bigger revenue can offer bigger expansions. The franchise is famous and earns a lot, but the vast majority of players are very demanding and greedy, see for example Galaxies, ended up going bankrupt and SWTOR initially would be as great as WOW, but it didn't work out very well and ended up becoming free to play. I would also pay even as a subscriber for a complete SWTOR expansion, but believe me we are a minority, the vast majority would not give up their wallet. If you prefer the cancellation of the game, the reason for so much fuss is explained, it seems that I am not the troll... I love this game, I prefer it to continue as it is, if the alternative is to end.
  15. Thank you for the support, for the congratulations and for reminding me that the Bioware team and we too, went through Covid 19, which ended up delaying many projects. In one of the posts I mentioned that something had delayed the announcement of the expansion and this something It was certainly Covid 19. I totally agree with you, we who love the game right now have to stand by the developers and hope not for the worst, but for the best. Honestly after the release of the expansion video and seeing the combat style in practice, I'm very excited and positive for the future of the game. You know what bothers me the most with people crying? It's that they're demanding too much and making comparisons with games that have a much bigger budget than SWTOR, it's illogical and unfair. I'm sure more than half that make these comparisons wouldn't pay for a SWTOR expansion. Honestly, I don't see a problem with the expansion being released in stages, KOTFE and KOTET were like that and they were great. In fact, I even prefer it to be released that way, because the expectation with the outcome is greater. It's like you said, unfortunately people like to hate, much more than love, but those who today hate the developers and do everything to spoil the game, if the game goes bankrupt tomorrow or the day after, they would be the first to regret and miss it
