  1. Damn that really does suck man. I think that mine was probably resolved fast because it was an account issue and not a programming one. Although it took me like 2 weeks to fix my cartel inventory wide account issues to be fixed. They dismissed my first ticket as a bug report and I finally got my issue resolved after I posted it on the forums under customer support and sent another customer support ticket and then they finally resolve it. But when I posted on the forums about my issue I was polite and not raging like a lunatic.
  2. It's cool dude. I'm don't consider myself a biodrone, I just consider myself as someone who recognizes a good game when I see one. I like other PC gaming companies besides Bioware too, like Bethseda, Interplay (RIP), Sierra (RIP), THQ and sadly some EA titles as well. See my thing is I don't try to compare games with other games, because that's like comparing apples and bananas. Also I play games for what they are and don't place unreasonable expectations on them. If they make cool changes then codos to them
  3. Personally I haven't spent any extra money since the cartel market was first introduced and now I'm fine with the stipend they give me. It just feels like I get more bang out of my buck now, because I not only have unlimited access to a game I enjoy, but now they give me free stuff for free. And if I wanted it so bad and I don't have anymore cartel coins I can just buy it in-game with credits. As a subscriber I feel immensely rewarded.
  4. Armor dyes are nice, but it would be awesome if they can come up with a crafting item that can turn all and any items into modable item. Meaning you can turn white, green and blues, purples into oranges. They did it with the Augment Kits, it would be even cooler and mind blowing if they made Custom Kits. Although it would be similar to making Augment Kits and requires Reengineering to get the mats.
  5. Good point. I rather have someone else buy them for me and I buy it off the GTN than paying money for all my toons to wear it.
  6. Nah, you still need to call them to reset it. There was no other way I found out and that was my issue. The poster you responded waited for like 4 hours or something. Never happened to us.
  7. I was on the phone with customer support yesterday to fix my girl's issue with her authenticator. Only spent like 3-6 mins tops on hold and then we got a person. We used landlines that doesn't charge for calling anywhere in the US, so we were prepared in the event of a 1-2 hour hold, but it didn't happen to me or her. We were both like what the heck are people on the forums talking about? These forums are so exaggerated. Some saying that the hold are like 2 hours is too ridiculous. Can those who have waited that long elaborate what time they called, where and what day?
  8. See I'm kinda dismissive about how horrible their wait on the call lines are now. If it was on a weekend and it was on prime time or during like I don't know 11PM at night, I think people should know better that their call center would have less people since no one ever wants to work those hours or its insanely busy because of the volume of calls. Then there's a whole issue with what kind of call they are doing too. If its an account and billing management, it may be quicker, but if it's technical support, its probably forever since you are basically calling for an IT guy to personally fix your problems. But yeah it seems like everyone just jumps on the hate train.
  9. So yesterday I had to customer service with my girlfriend about taking off the phone authenticator on their customer support help-line. The issue was resolved in like 5 minutes and we were only on hold for like 4-6 minutes, maybe even less. Granted we call around 5:30pm Eastern Time and it was a Wednesday. My question is, what is up with all these people on the forums about how horrible customer support is? The worst case I ever got was about how it took 2 weeks to resolve a bug, but it wasn't so gamebreaking and only took that long because I incorrectly made a ticker. After I sent the ticket correctly that I managed to get my problem fixed in less than 24 hours.
  10. Seriously? Most people I know have free calling features as long as its in the US, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. I have it so I don't mind being on hold and won't pay extra. Who still pays per minute anyway? Although I'm not sure how it works for international people.
  11. I understand with what you are saying that it would be refreshing to see different combat mechanics of having the trinity system. But seriously let's face it, the problem you are talking about is not just a Swtor problem, but an MMO problem as a whole and I am glad you do realize that with you statement. If you like the way Diablo series plays like, then by all means play it. In my opinion, Diablo was largely successful due to brand recognition with its affiliation to the Blizzard name. Overall I think the game is kinda blah and grindy with lacking in story with absent character development. I played D3 for some time and could not get into it. I played 1, 2 and the expansions and it felt to grindy to me. But going back to the topic. The trinity system has been there predating since Dungeons and Dragons and honestly almost everyone copies from it (mmo and RPGs alike). The idea of the system is that it encourages team work. If you take that away, the frankly it become a solo game, but online. Hell they already give you a companion to start with, so the need of another player to help you in questing is already gone. But to address this what did the developers do? They scaled the game so that even if you have 2 players with companions, its still difficult to do heroics and nearly impossible to do flashpoints. I like the trinity system, because there's more order involved. Just be glad you don't have to roll a bunch of dice and spend like 30 mins for just 1 combat phase.
  12. They did that already. They give you 500-700 a month for just being a subscriber! LOL But seriously I think some items should involve a long quest line like HK-51 and for those who don't want to spend that much time doing it, there's the cartel market option. =D Oh but wait, some of those outfits are available already, but only for the respective classes.
  13. That's probably at the alpha stage, they wouldn't roll it out on the test servers yet anyway.
  14. Thats the issue with these forums and people in general. Everyone thinks they are programmers and finnancial analyst that thinks their opinions really matters and is fact.
