  1. I'm a lvl 50 TK Sage, been that way since day 1. At lower levels, Disturbance and TK Throw are enough for any standard mob. When i pulled a group I had Qyzen attack the strongest, aoed everything else, then used Project, TK Throw and Disturbance, in that order. I'd double cast disturbance when I had the Throw Buff to run out the GCD. The buff is nice, but i never payed a lot of attention to it at lower levels, since, if it took that long to kill something, I'd use Throw twice and the buff would be used. At level 50, excluding Turbulence since you don't have that yet, my rotation for bosses is Weaken Mind, Mind Crush, Project, TK Throw, Disturbance x3. Then its all about using abilities as they come off CD or buff maintenance. As long as I keep the Disturbance buff up, I'm fine on force. Also, when the TK Wave buff pops, even single target, I'll use it,, insta cast and all. I also never use the push back ability, even at lower levels, unless I was in danger. When you get Force Quake, AOE is SO easy. Just keep at it, TK Sages, really can't chain pull more than a few times at low levels sometimes.
  2. Celty - Sawbones Smuggler from the anime series Durarara
  3. omg, shut up about the movies already. They told you to keep on topic so listen to them please. You're all just repeating things you've already said anyways.
  4. Bw will probably just ignore this thread like EVERY OTHER THREAD. But sure, /sign, for like the 50th time.
  5. The BH Gear for Consulars is AWFUL! It's a TOGA, what more is to be said. If the gear was more designed around how the gloves look, with that cool light pattern then I would be mush happier. Imagine a dark colored robe with those lights running through it, that would look infinitely better than BW's lazy attempt at T4 armor. Look at the Inquisitor armor, it looks freaking awesome, but this is just terrible.
  6. Spoilers aside, you never actually lose anything when you use the technique. I think you might get a debuff for a couple minutes but that's about it. It doesn't lower your stats, it take away your EXP it is simply story.
  7. People have been complaining about this for a long time, since pre 1.3. The supposedly fixed this, but by that their "quality of life" fix was only two separate instance with a 60 player cap... Respawns need to be faster, and probably another 4 boxes added. The limit should also be brought down to 30 or 35. At this point it becomes just competitive enough to be a small nuisance but still easily doable. The free the engineers quest needs to be phased and re designed to accommodate that, their easy fix.
  8. Legacy is BWs baby, it'll never go away, and personally I think they devote to many resources to it and not enough to bug fixes and quality control. Legacy is made to make experiencing alternative content easier. BW has always been about story, so the Legacy system enables players to witness every possible story faster and faster with every alt. Nothing is stopping you from sending credits from you main to your alt. Doing 3 HMs a day, with only repair costs, no crafting or anything like that, you should be able to unlock as many as you want very quickly, even only doing one or two a day, you'll rack up creds. Personally, I don't want to pay 100 million creds for epic silk because the credit sink disappears and inflation just goes "weeeeeeeeeee, let's fly high!"
  9. If you don't have the time, you shouldn't play MMO's which are notorious for time-sinks. This is my last MMO as I'm going into management as soon as I get out of school and I simply won't have the time to play the way I want. Secondly, Gear should be a reward, letting people pay for their gear will mean that every 12 year old who comes from any kind of money will buy their gear, then say they can do things that their gear says they can, but they simply don't have the skill to back up. It is a cheap and lazy method of going about this issue. My suggestion to you, if you really don't have the time, is to unsub, and start playing console games again. Black Ops 2 is coming out and the PS3 is getting a lot of other good titles, Dishonored looks really interesting. But if gear can ever be bought with real money, then what is the point in even playing. Yes, the standard argument is that gear is a reward for time-sink, but that really isn't the case. When it only takes about 2-4 hours of actual play time, and not just standing around in fleet, a week to get your gear, a better argument would be that they put in the work and deserve the gear. You can't get something for nothing, that's the problem with people now-a-days. Always wanting something for nothing.
  10. I don't understand all this glass cannon talk, can someone plz explain? I'm assuming it's to do with PVP, which I don't do. But as a TK DPS PVE Sage, I love my damage and often have to be guarded to avoid pulling. And my shield and stuns means that I can tank a strong mob and live even if I do pull, I wear cloth, not concerned about ym survive-ability because its the same as when playing other cloth classes in other MMOs's like a mage in WoW of RIFT. I wonder if its just that there aren't any pvp defense talents because there is no pvp tree. I notice three abilities in the TK tree that are pvp specific, as they have almost no place in PVE, so I stay away from these and put my points in more useful applications.
  11. Play a Sawbones. Lv 46 1) From what I've seen on my main, If a Sawbones healer is in group and they don't know how to p[lay it, they can't keep tank alive very well when under intensive fire. I haven't had an issue like that from my leveling but it seems like this is a class that for PVE, you need to know the class. However, seeing as this games leveling and most of its End Game content have been pretty under whelming, having a class where you have to think as you perform your rotation and not just face roll is refreshing. 2) I love healing, it's interesting and fun, never dull unless you have an OP tank that doesn't take any damage. Smuggle is nice to skip through FPs, especially in HMs where you just want your daily and get out. When it come to leveling though, it has slowed drastically since Corso's harpoon went away. In order to conserve my energy and not blow CD's on every fight while I'm questing, i have to use melee attacks which means running into the group of mobs. Smugglers need a gap closer to bring us to the mobs or at least give Corso back his harpoon so he can tank the group and you can beat the crap out of the mob he pulls. Oh, and AOE heals are WEAK.
  12. I play a TK Sage. All responses are PVE only, as I don't care or listen to PVP chatter. 1) How is it perceived by other classes? For healing purposes, a sage healer seems like an asset, especially since commando's can't heal worth a crap until end-game, and even then people avoid them. I think the Sage is preferred over the Scoundrel in end-game for there burst heals and shield. I know when I group, people seem to want Sage healers, if anything because of the familiarity of how they heal. As far Sage DPS is perceived, I have to be Guarded sometimes in HM FPs due to my burst dps. I'm right up there, and the only class that does way more than I do all else being equal are Gunslingers. 2) How do I like my Class? I love my TK Sage. I do as much dps as other classes, I see no real difference, the burst is awesome plus we have a shield and off heals as being ranged and squishy is perfectly survivable. I can solo strong mobs if I pull off the tank and live. I wish the Project animation would go back to the way it was, but other than that I'm happy.
  13. So you have wished it, so shall it be. This is what I use. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#600cM0zZhZfsrbdoMutz.2
  14. Agree, LFG shouldn't restart the instance just because you manually invited someone. That's BS
