  1. Bioware is responding. but responding is not what we want. we want bioware to ACTUALLY FIX THE PROBLEM. It has been months since server population issues have started. Who cares what Bioware says will happen, if it doesn't actually happen. Even the fix they claim will happen in summer seems to be fairly modest. Free transfers between select servers? That will be a small fix, many servers need between 10x and 20x the population they currently have to function normally. Even the fix that hasn't actually occurred is not necessarily going to solve their problem. Not to mention that this fix has not even occurred yet.

  3. server merges in a big way. something like 10 servers merging into 1, at a minimum cross-server warzone queueing making objective in warzones easier to achieve (reducing capture time from 8 seconds to 4 for example) cross-server PVE tools
  4. I have repeatedly made posts encouraging bioware to merge the servers, starting all the way back in January. It seems as though it is on the backburner for them, though. I completely agree with the original post. After my 30 free days are gone, I will be also.
  5. after my subscription runs out, if Bioware implements some effective means of dealing with its populations, I would consider resubscribing, but my threshold for re-subbing would be significantly higher than if they were able to deal with the issue, say today. In an MMO, at least one with a subscription, I expect there to be action round the clock for both pvp and pve. Logging in and playing with the same team against the same opponents over and over just doesn't cut it for a paying MMO to me. I expect there to be many competitors to play against and a variety of activities. When I Queue up, I would expect to be able to play against hundreds of different players rather than a pool of 10-20. Probably for me to continue to pay 15/month, there must be both cross-server warzone and pve queueing, OR major server merges (probably merging about 10 servers into 1). I won't continue to pay monthly for this quasi single player game.
  6. 6 player maximum per warzone. this will insure warzones can fire before the population issue is fixed (if ever there is such a fix implemented). it will also insure that 8v6 warzones will not fire over and over again when one faction has 8 but the other has 6, leading to the faction with 6 to usually just stop playing, and everyone loses out
  7. warzone queues only fire during peak hours on my server. during off hours they almost never fire. I'm currently unsubbed and only playing because Bioware gave us 30 days for free. If the population issue isnt resolved I won't resubscribe:(. I like the gameplay, but, there just is not the quantity of other players to interact with or against that makes an MMO fun.
  8. there's little to argue about. it's almost impossible to find any group for pve on my server, and warzones only fire regularly during peak hours. a lfg tool isn't gonna hurt anyone because currently its basically impossible to find a group anyways

I will be unsubbing unless they institute either: population merges transfers or cross-server wz/flashpoint/operation q'ing ----------------------------------------------------------------- there is simply no interaction due to the lack of people to play with. MMO = MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER ONLINE. theres no massively when there is often less than 20 level 50's on at a time, and at night hours, there are often not enough to even have 1 warzone group going
  11. ranked warzone commendations are required for purchasing war hero gear as planned previously, it was possible to directly purchase WH gear with ranked WZ comms earned from playing in ranked WZ's the alternate path (and current) is to play unranked WZ s, and trade 3:1 for ranked WZ comms earning 100 comms per wz (which is above average if even possible), it would take 60 warzones to purchase a pair of boots which cost 2k ranked WZ commendations. QUESTION TO THE DEVS: It seems like the decision to exclude ranked warzones from patch 1.2 has made all war hero gear 3 times more expensive. Was this an intentional effect, and if not, will this be changed?
  12. they don't give u good gear. they should drop rakata gear at least. or they should have a nightmare mode that drops black hole commendations for flashpoints. Yes I know ppl who run ops say "well that'd be too easy and everyone would have it" but frankly at the moment there is 0 reason to run any of the flashpoints. they're just a useless relic sitting there, when they could be giving us some kind of content to do the new lost island is an exception, it at least drops rakata pieces
  13. "The first phase will be full team, eight-player queuing only" This is highly concerning to me. I can't do operations because I can't get 8 people groups together. Once this feature is released I won't even be able to do warzones.
  14. On 4/4 patch notes east/west speeders were removed from alderaan warzone on 4/6 patch notes they were reinstated ------- i suggest to remove please. they make it so that the game is effectively decide by the first 2 turret captures, as after it is really really hard to take a side turret
  15. 15x1.7 = 25.5 million gross income PER MONTH. even assuming bioware was paying a whopping 50% GROSS royalties to lucasarts, they would ahve an income of 12.25 MILLION DOLLARS PER MONTH. whatever the actual figure is its unlikeley to be that high.... this is all in addition to whatever income they made from the original game purchase of $50 (can count as only 35 since you get 1 month free) and the additional revenue from collectors edition or such. I feel that the current team of programmers working on SWTOR could be doing a better job with that kind of budget
