  1. Hey guys, i played 16 chars up to 65... and i dont wanna buy new slots or create to many new chars for this event but i wanna progress in it too: so here is the deal: its said "achieve with ANY CHARACTER created blablabla" the 6 craftskills. If I create ONE char and level all 6 on it (I know after each other) - it should work, right? i guess for getting most of the awards I have to play one from 1-65, but what if i buy those 60+ tokens = will that work for the 8 mainclasses i have to level once up to 50? Muss arbeiten und Abo heut ausgelaufen, werds die Tage erneuern, mal sehen was bei rum kommt... Die wollten bei uns irwie neuen DSL Vertrag aushandeln, vermut mal dass sie gerad Drosseln oder es irwie damit zu sammen hängt ^^ also vllt liegts daran...
  3. Werde ich machen, jedoch hab ich das Spiel auf einen Tipp hin mal ohne Streaming Dienst installiert... Jedoch verkackt mein Spiel immer noch abends alle 5-10 min was mich als PvP Spieler doch extremst ab****t, weil ich für diesen Support und vorallem das Spiel zahle und die bei EA sich nen scheiß dafür interessieren... klar einzelfall blabla aber sowas darf es einfach nicht geben... By the way: WTFast hilft auch nicht, nichtmal im geringsten... zumidnest manchmal Hier der Pathping:
  4. Ich hab die Ping die ich ansteuerte aus dem Thread den ich unten verlinkte. Dort hatte der EA Beauftragte die akzeptiert bei anderen deutschsprachigen Spielern (Österreich/Schweiz/Deutschland) und bei mir auch nichts gesagt, daher sollte das eig kein Problem sein. Ich werde deine Ping aber auch mal ausprobieren, vllt ist da der Ping ja bei den besagten 300k. Ich werde mehr nachher wissen. Nein, ich werds aber mal probieren, hab heut Abend mal wieder zeit für SW:ToR.
  5. Hallo Star Wars Fangemeinde und SW:ToR Supportgruppe, ich suche hier im Forum Hilfe, sowie will ich meinem Ärger Luft machen. Ich habe am 19. November mich an den Support gewand um Hilfe bezüglich meiner interessanten Ping Probleme zu bekommen, dazu später mehr. Ich wurde mit meinem Ticket t# 21698298 dann hierher an das Kundenserviceforum verwiesen, welches aber schreibgeschützt ist. Letztendlich landete ich dann hier. Dort bekam ich genau EINE Antwort vom EA-Beauftragten. Nun zu meinem Problem: Ich hab seit gut 4 Wochen Ping Probleme und Disconnects von dem SW:ToR Server T3-M4 (zu den anderen keine Ahnung). Ich logge mich ein und habe meist sofort das rote Kreuz in der Ecke, manchmal kann ich auch 1-3h spielen und dann kommts wieder. Es ist vor allem sehr nervig, da ich primär eigentlich PvP spiele und da ein DC oder Ping sehr demotivierend und nervig ist. Ich habe mehrere tracerroutes erstellt C:\Users\admin>tracert 159.153.77.143 während ich meine DC's hatte. Das interessante daran ist, dass mein Ping gestern Abend auf 300000ms ging, aber im tracer so aus sah: Nun, wie kann eine maximale 90er ms Verzögerung so ein großen lag auslösen? Ich kanns mir nicht erklären. Ich wollt eig ganz entspannt mitm Kumpel zocken und bin dann nach 10min entnervt off gegangen, weil ich einfach 10min damit verbrachte zuzugucken wie ich diesen schönen Ping mehrmals bekam. Ich empfang konstant 144,5mBits minimum (max 150) und hab von meinem router 270 zugesichert. Mein System, falls eine solche Frage aufkommen sollte: Dann vor ein paar Tagen, hab ich mir die SW:ToR Spiellogs angeschaut und das gefunden: vielleicht, kann ja der ein oder andere was damit anfangen. Zu allem Überfluss hatte ich dann vorgestern auch noch keine Serverliste zur Auswahl, dass behob sich zum Glück durch den Patch: In dem verlinkten Thread vom Anfang findet man noch mehrere solcher Spoiler. Falls jemand eine Ahnung hat voran das mit dem Ping liegt, bitte mir doch hier reinschreiben. Ich selbst bin langsam echt am "verzweifeln" da ich für mein Geld eine miserable Leistung bekomme, ich aber gern SW:ToR weiter spielen würde, da es mir trotz des ein oder anderem Problem was ich schon hatte, noch immer gut gefällt.   6. if they would seperate those up, they should not split up the different classes in their pool of people who work for classbalancing.... but they did it... bioware should get a straight line in that what they want to do and how they do it... but everything people wish for its only done for pve ers as far as i know... they killed 8rated, they invented 4rated, which actually is just going for mezz all and kill heal/dd... YAAAY they made heals OP and nerfed some totally or really hard... the dmg balance is not existing roots/stuns/kicks kill specific classes... but you can give perfect solutions, which could be wanted by a lot of people, but the gameadministrator are in some kind a way not the best thinker what is good for the game or would balance it out...

Well OP Character in pvp and pve was pre 3.0 an operative. now they imobilized them completly and most of the healser are ... up in wz's. in pve they can't hot anymore that good because of their alacrity... therefore just go casting ^^ in pvp not good... 2. i just run the storyline and skipped most of it. always the same... and when the 12x xp event was - 14h char 55 ^^ 3. if you are good enough you can make your class fit the content... as i remember some guilds run the old 5/5 nim content with 2!! snipers... stupid? they did it and according to NERFS: HAtred assassin is OP, why? they heal for nearly 25% and have endless aoe dps + their selfheal... for pve you dont need selfheal but dps... so they probably will nerf both options, heal and dps ^^ life with it, when hatred is nerfed the real assas run around and not just stupid foolish people who are able to press 5 buttons to get 1st-3rd most dmg in wz's -.- and i guess they will buff the operative again, something with hots +200% more heal 'd be nice...
  8. of course some of the mentioned taktics are Team based and of course if you dont have the gear to go 1-5-2 you shouldnt... and if you play rep its your fault the stories told us that they are loosers... lookt at the knight storyline and then at the warrior Story this should also be a thread for complete newbies to explain pvp at whole, if you perfect pro do Not need it then keep out of here... instead of saying what they do, my aim is to explain why they should do it like this...
  9. This will be a guide for 4 of 5 warzones. I will explain them shortly and then the basics to win it. Many people will now what they have to do, or when they have to react. But the community of swtor is still growing and often newbies are met in lowy pvp. to prevent such noobs growing up with 0 knowledge i try to help them with these thread. if you have anything to add don't care and write it. What have all warzones in common?? You want to win them - as a team. You cannot win as a single person, but as a team. -> Therefore you need a tactic. They have boosts: Red: dmg increase and reduction Green: Heal up to ~80% Grey/Green: Speed boost (~20% i think) General information regarding behaviour in a warzone: Call for help when you defend an outpost/base of your team. How call for help correctly: inc where??? how many?? always use the minimap as a compass for saying where the inc is!!! Example: inc western 1+ (+ stands for invisible additional enemies) inc eastern 2 inc middle 5 of course you can shorten them up if you just see them coming from stealth inc w/o/m [number+] if you are a class that can give team buffs/team shields/team absorbs than skill that **** and use it in wz's. for pve most things are useless - pvp is different, but a skill built which supports your team is better than egoism, right?? so to all assas/pt's/juggs (and reps) abuse your taunt buttons, but never ever taunt a heal. 0 outcome moreover some classes have support def cds for a whole group you should use them if a lot of people drop below 60-50% life. how to cc correctly Have a GUI that shows Information Text in you target, in your own char window and in the group bar. its helpfull... Use the chat in beginning to ask for a tank (if u are heal) or if you are tank ask for heal (to know where your guard is needed most, but never forget guard switch) or to create a tactic and to say who defs. Never ever leave the basement to fight. always def near it, that you can interrupt potential tapper in a few secs. How do i DEFEND with my team correctly? If you own 1 basement - 1 deffer in the outside If you own 2 basements - 2 deffer in the basement where incs are less common. if you lost one split up again, or ask for help in the middle to avoid the loose of one basement. Novare Coast: It's all about the middle basement. Who got that one first usually wins the game. You have to constantly pressure the enemie. Focus his/her heals down and then go for dps. you need to be fast, respawn is not long and the way back to the basement is even shorter. As a healer never paddle back, but turn around and go kiting. as a tank never run into the enemys, just taunt from behind and try to stay between meelys and ranges to switch your guard perfectly and to everybody in range. as a dd try to find a place where you cant be line of sited but where you can constantly aoe into the basement. meelies should go for heals/tanks. How to tap the basement correctly? look on the ground. there is a half circle drawn on the bottom. if you want to tap stand on the line and use the 18m range you have. its important and you can tap with more people at the same time!!! ALWAYS try to tap. if you dont your team will loose. If you defend the eastern or western basement and you are an operative/scoundrel or assa/shadow go permanently for the other basement. i would prefer assa/shadow going for basements because they can use their phasewalk to jump 60m instantly back to their base. if they go incing and at the same time one person taps the base they should def just run back and port the 60m. and always go for inc. every minute run for them and pull 1-3 from the middle away. it awesome and helps your team to create intense pressure in the middle. if you want to go ganking with friends just be 3 assassins and you can rotate in the western/eastern basement (if lvl51+). the enemies are ****ed up and will go for the outside in every case. Civil War on Alderaan This map is tower def based. Again it is all about the middle. BUT the team with the first turret starts to destroy your ship. If you are range dps you can hide in the middle behind the stairs or "pylons" or even upstairs. (there you can find dmg boosts) as a heal go kiting around the stairs, but evoide getting stunned behind them. can cause your death. You wish to win the game therefore you have to know the map (linked in the headline). the turret on the left side (spawnpoint is fix point) has the shortest way for your team, enemies have to go a longer way. you should aim that one first. often one def is enough, so use the chat to find out who wants to def. the middle is your aim, if you get it you have to fight for the outside turrets. the right turret is about 200m away and reached only with rofl operatives or speed assas. (they have the advantage of invisibility) possible tactics: 1-5-2 (nice move to pressure outside 2-0-6 you can loose the left side. 1-6-1 just keep them away of tapping on the right side. there is a tunnel under the turret in the middle. so if you fight in the middle you can write easily really early the incomincs in the chat, that your team has enough time to shift perfectly against the enemies. you need total overview!! Ancient Hypergates Everybody loves this map, because you are totally random dependent. You have to go for 600 points. I won't be able to explain how they calculate the points but you have a multiplicator (it works like: kill 1 point/ orb 2 points) that increases in every round by one. You need at least one pylon to get points. You have 3 options to gether those points: 1. gather orbs in the middle and run to your pylon. NEVER use stealth, you will loose your orb immediatly. 2. Kill people inside the middle and on your half of the map (if you have a pylon) 3. Kill people on the enemies side of the map and you get doubled points. One round lasts for 2:30Min and ends in a big exploison at the end which kills everybody who is hit by it. You have to run into the middle or under the too spawn (there you can find a speed boost). in these areas you are save and can avoid the deadly exploison. Meelys likely zerg on the side of the enemies and will die easily because they often break the l-o-s of heals. heals have to know that. ranges can stand in the heal cluster. If you want to take the enemies pylon over, aim it for the second round in the last minute. you should be operative or even assa with instant whirlwind. but care for powertechs/vanguards shoulder missles. Huttball This game is capture the flag based. You have 2 different maps, Quesh and NarShaddaa, i prefer NarShadaa because its less buggy. You have to pick up the ball in the middle but care for the traps. Your aim: Enemies spawn and cross the line to score the point. With 6 points you win. Traps: Fire: Deals unavoidable dmg ~5-10k Poison: Deals dot dmg and slows ~1-3k Airteleport: Pushes you in the air, "flight" is random Taktics: Stun the ball carrier in fire or root them in poison. To avoid such stuns in the fire activate stun imunity (merc/mando utilty power shield // assa/shadow resilience) or hava a backhand heal cleansing mezz/flashbang stuns. If you don't have a backhand heal try to rush with resolve bar full through the fire traps between mid and endzone. Taktics as a defender: - pull the ball carrier into fire - push him/her into fire/poison or the pit - stun/root in traps - focus down - look for possible ballcarrier and attack them/push them away Taktics as attacker - ball carrier should be tank specct/geared - use Throw the Huttball to reach the endzone really easy - abuse the Extrication/Rescue to get out of fire/into the endzone (sorc/sage is needed) - cleanse stuns from the ballcarrier (ts nice for that or reaction) - let a jugg carry the ball and intervene a stealth in the endzone - have the middle secure. if you have the middle you have the balls The mentioned tactics are basic and should explain the easy idea of the wwarzons, but of course you should react to the game and invent new tactics or do something that isnt the most expected actions. When you have participated a lot in pvp you will see that these tactics are the easiest ones and you will get used to improvisation at some point to get your objectives. I can say from my experience that sticking for few weeks to specific ideas and also queing in groups with nice and good players will always improve your style. When I meet people who have in my opinion some potencial, i tell them what they coud improve and so on. if you ask people who have a rating 100 or a pvp common guild tag ask them they probably will help you.

    Learn how to CC

    When I read through this thread I expected for newbies some tips not just complaining. I started 2 years ago as a total newby, had no plan of anything and failed totally in wz's. The first thing you have to know for the pvp nowadays are the utilities or different speccs. To participate in pvp good you should read first a few guides or even the skill trees Skilltrees3.0 To know how to cc correctly I prefer 100% out zoomed camera. You have to know your class for 100%, you have to know where every important skill is, that you can focus on the animations or even the buffs people get. (or at least if someone needs help) you have different types of stuns (correct me if i am wrong): soft stun: - cyber granate - deep slash (imp name for deception assa) Hard stun: all the 4sec things (to many names to recon them all) [e.g. sorcbubble, dirty kick, electro dart etc.] - spike assa/shadow (used from stealth [opener] / if tank specc used every 20sec) MEZZ: Intimidating Roar (jugg/maro/sent/guard) flashbang (operative/snipah/scoundrel/gunslinger) Whirlwind (assa/sorc/shadow/sage) stealth 8sec thing (operative/assa/scoundrel/shadow) Pushes: sorcs/assa/sage/shadow can root with their force wave (use it wisdomly) never ever stun a person that's havin a second bar beyond his life bar. IT is marked WHITE and channeling downwoards. STUNS are nonsene on someone with that bar. Tips to cc: MOST IMPORTANT ask for your heal if 8vs8. make him your focus target and check his/her life bar often - nearly every time ^^ if you are jugg/guard use your ****in intervene/guarding leep to give him a dmg reduction. if he needs help charge on him and mezz that he has time to heal 2 full. if the heal is clustered by enemies and you're not a jugg/guard throw your flashbang or granate but never dotspread. if sorc run into it and make your bubble stun them all with clicking it from your buffbar. its a nice skillful move :PP if you have a healer in the enemy team give him a target and stun him softly or for 4-8secs. best move for arenas if youre a deception assa just do hard switch and stun him till his/her team is DEAD. in 8vs8 the best move to cc is when enemies cluster just mezz into it if needed to focus one heal or someone else. also very important: never use your stuns randomly. with that we come to the next point: encounter stuns: Vengeance speccs is for destroying stupid players. they are imune for ~4secs. never stun them first but wait for their master strike/ravage and push them away/stun them. but be careful it needs a feeling for correct stunning... against shadows/assas u need to be more focused on the animations they have. it's important to look for resilience and force shroud. if they activate it they shine bright. you cannot stun them, if you are on of these classes skill it 5secs long. it is op -.- Same class as before: Deflection makes the imune to sleep stuns roots etc if they skilled it. I would!!!! I often see people attacking sorcs/sages in their op ***** bubble lasting 8secs. never stun or attack them, you deal 0 dmg and yuo have no chance to interrupt them. its not usefull to hit those persons. if you see some team mates tapping for example in novare coast run down to the enemy spawn and start fighting against respawned enemies, use roots and stuns, if they are a few people (more than 2) mezz/flashbang them. or just root them with dot/force wave. (or just mezz them for retap during fight, but dotspread is your biggest enemy) if you know that in your enemy team are 1-2 good players and you have on heal in your team try to guard him/her, even if you can't guard/taunt. WE DO NOT SPEAK OF STUNS IN TOTAL, BUT WE SPEAK OF STUNS USED CORRECTLY. so if these persons are bursting consequently make them run and interrupt/stun them in their ****in rotation that they have to switch target or can't dps long times. if you want to participate in pvp really good you have to know every 16 classes in speccs/rotations and in their animations. it is useful to speak to people who play on rep/imp or look carefully in wz's. dealing much dps is useless in 8vs8 if you loose. often people just care about their numbers but can't show any skill. WOW I dealt 1,7mio dmg with a dot assa /w00t i am soooo coool. well dot spread is making cc correctly a hard task. also the increased aoe dmg skills are ****ed... they just spam their sweeping blasters or earthquakes and force storms but can't show any skill. those randoms who now can say "i did 2 mio of dmg" are happy but even worse than people with 1,3k expertise. often small things can win a game, not just huge numbers. remember that when start ccing in warzones, i hope the newbies learned something in here. its all about ccing that every class is ****ed up: look at their def cds they used/use and then just flashbang them for 8 secs and rofl away to let their selfheals/op dmg imunity into the galaxy. juggs/maras will be ****ed up :PP (and they will know of what i am talking) one last rule, which is actually my pvp style: gear is just secondary, but skill is important.
  11. dir ist bewusst das man dem gefährten eine andere kampfrolle zuweisen kann mit ö oder ä kannst du dessen talente aufrufen und ihm dann eine weniger aggresive haltung geben ich weiß is bissl länger her aber falls es noch keiner wusste
  12. man kann es auf meisterschütze auch ohne deckung aktivieren ich kann meisterschützen baunm nur empfehlen... man haut alle punkte rein, bis auf die, die den krit schaden erhöhen mit +3%/+6%, die sind mMn unnötig...
  13. der stärkste in der Galaxis ist eindeutig Revan, weil dieser auf beiden SEiten der Macht war und einfach verdammt lässig ist seine machtfähigkeit übertrifft die jedes menschen. und er unterlag nur dem imperator auf gewisse zeit [gibt ja H4´s wo er abhaut], weil dieser ein nekromant war und ist.
