  1. You're ignoring endgame, then claiming there's no MMO elements...? If you completely ignoring all the group content, of course you're going to feel as if you're playing a single player game.
  2. I don't know a single person who has eight different characters, so I'm not sure who the "most" group you're speaking for is. That being said, I wish they'd hurry up with it, I got tired of waiting and made an alt. I hope I didn't miss out on much, but it's still relatively low level, so if I have to reroll for whatever awesome goodies they're cooking up, it's no big deal to me.
  3. You can't edit your character's name. You can create a new character with a different name, but you can't change pre-existing names.
  4. If you are put off by the fact that you look like everyone else, perhaps you should take advantage of the item modifcation system already in the game? Pick a look you like, and roll with it... Nobody is forcing you to wear anything.
  5. I had no idea that a character with hair meant the person behind the avatar was all those things. Thanks for enlightening me.
  6. Hm. Then it would seem something isn't working properly. I couldn't speak from experience, I'm a completist and I was always level 18-19 when I got my ship.
  7. The last sentence of your post pretty much sums up my feelings. It's just a game, and an MMO at that. Sure, it's not entirely realistic (in a video game? zomg!) but what real issue is this causing? Stop jumping on elevators if it's bothering you so much. I suppose some people will get up in arms about anything at all... Good luck with your "demands", OP. I feel silly just typing that, I hope you feel silly for "demanding" it.
  8. Because different people enjoy different things. I'm not sure why this thread has over 40 pages when the answer is so simple...
  9. Do you have your ship? Most people will be level 18-19 when they receive their ship. The first few space missions might require you to be higher level than 16. Get a few more levels, and if they still aren't available in the cockpit of your ship, I'd bug report it.
  10. I call shenanigans. That didn't even happen during beta.
  11. This happens with Sorcerers as well. It affects more combinations of spells, not just two large heals back-to-back. The buff affects the first ability you use (correctly), and if the second ability queued is Dark Infusion (or the Sage equiv), the buff will also shorten the activation time of it (incorrectly). I have nothing nice to say to anyone calling this an exploit. It's unavoidable, unless you don't use Dark Infusion whatsoever, which isn't an option. When your tank is about to go down, you usually heal them with the largest heal available. You can't just say, "Well, I'd love to save you, but my buff isn't working properly, thus it will improperly affect my next two heals... So you're just gonna have to die..." that's just ridiculous, and anyone expecting that to happen is also ridiculous. It's not an exploit, it's a bug.
  12. Xalek is similarly unaffected by Absorption Rating. I hope his stats get fixed soon (along with his subpar tanking buff) as he is currently very nearly useless; Khem outperforms him in every aspect.
  13. As far as I can tell, 1.1.1 isn't going to fix Electric Induction. How about in the next patch, please?
  14. Have someone pull you to the second floor. Sorcerer/Sage, BH/Trooper, etc.
  15. All healing abilities are correctly affected by Electric Induction, thankfully.
