  1. I'm not paying for it.At least on my server, there are only a handful of people left so I don't see what's wrong with tagging all valid servers as destination servers. This whole process has felt terrible and ill thought out and if I have to pay even more just to make the game tolerable, it's just not worth it.
  2. Companions no longer counting as group members. There's a bug where this happened and it made me consider resubbing. Playable Voss.
  3. I find this hard to understand. There's actually an Imperial Trooper outfit (CE Vendor) which appears to negate the point being made about the Republic Trooper outfit but even there it doesn't matter because, at least for the force user look, there's the Voss gear and creative mixing and matching of other gear sets. What counts as outside of the normal gear progression? Are your strictly talking PvP? There are a lot of dropped modifiable gear items that undo any usefulness of gear ID for PvP. If changing your look has any measurable effect on success, there's enough gear to allow every PvP player seeking every advantage to avoid the intent. I keep reading it but I'm still not getting it. Can you please explain how this is supposed to work?
  4. The Iceman was a mob hitman. I didn't link him because listening to him is really disturbing but if you google "mob hitman" his interviews should be one of the first results.Full name Richard Leonard "The Iceman" Kuklinski if there's any question. Consular would probably explain it. That story line is just painful. I know after playing Inquis first, SW was the greatest ever until the post Voss incident. When I was able to look at it for itself, I wanted to space everyone not named Jaesa and Pierce.
  5. Did anyone else read that as crafting is in for much bigger changes, as well as the whole itemization scheme? I'm starting to read this all as band-aids as the whole system gets redone. I'm hoping it does because right now, everything is a mess.
  6. There's sinister and then there's the Iceman without charm, grace or discretion. Skadge even complains every time I send him on a mission. Keeping Skadge even as dark side is questionable at best.
  7. Girly isn't the trigger, it's his overall manner from the first time you meet him. Between that and his opening threat to Mako on the ship, he comes across to me as a stupid sadistic psychopath and implied r****t. All his anecdotes and exchanges deal with torture and murder and when there is a female involved, the creep factor goes up exponentially. The idea that I would let this guy on my ship in any fashion is gamebreaking.
  8. This raises a question for me--a lot of your changes to the system look like trying to compensate for core flaws in the crafting and overall itemization scheme of the game. We've already heard plans to phase out reusable medpacks; synthweavers, armortechs, and armstechs already got augments in an awkward manner to make up for the weaknesses of non- customizable gear;artificers have a horde of redundant enhancements and really it can go on. To what extent are you willing to upend the system to make it make more sense and not need to do what happened with augment distribution?
  9. Best Overall: Imperial Agent. Minus Kaliyo, the untrustworthy psychopath, I like all my companions and think they fit. Worst Overall: BH. As if Gault wasn't bad enough...Skadge, ohhhhh Skadge(link is Sarlacc's rant). If I could use profanity here, I'd have at least 2 paragraphs of them in regards to Skadge. I hate him more than Quinn, which is hard considering my character was married to Quinn at the time of the incident. I don't think it's possible to have a more implausible companion than Skadge considering the convo's before he's forced on you. Skadge is so offensive in every respect, I consider him a cancel worthy event and if BH had been my first character, I would have until there was a rewrite. Torian and Blizz don't make up for him, especially as a powertech. SW was ok. Vette needs the collar to stay on, Quinn needs spaced, Broonmark is meh, Jaesa is...interesting regardless of side and Pierce, besides needing to be romanceable, also needs his big mission playable. SI I only like Khem Vhal and Xalek. Khem becomes kinda uncle like and Xalek is a worthy companion that comes entirely too late to enjoy fully. I'd love to know how anyone thought a companion after Voss was a great idea. Revel and Talos could be spaced and I wouldn't care. Scratch that, losing Revel means I could get someone interesting and losing Talos means I could get someone I could actually stand hearing. Ashara I used to hate, until I played the Lightside SW storyline and realized, Ashara isn't the broken one, the SI storyline is what's severely broken.
  10. Not worth it. I feel cheated as a CE owner.
  11. Would solve a lot more if there weren't so many that are a waste. Crafting needs a rethink and redo. Most of the stuff you can make isn't stuff you really want to.
  12. Develop some then because your design made all that effort a waste. In your single player games, while there may have been optimal choices, usually you got to use more than one and picking the ones you liked most didn't affect gameplay so dramatically. Speaking as a Sith Warrior player that loathes Quinn, it's completely impractical to use any other companion because Quinn as the only healer so dramatically improves survival and downtime. Same goes for a Powertech Bounty Hunter. The mechanics force the choices unless you want a much less enjoyable play experience.
  13. Given the potential frustration coming from transfers and people feeling locked to their servers, this seems like a great way to avoid headaches and conflict. By won't be coming soon, do you mean flat out impossible to do before you start implementing server transfers and mergers?
  14. Will there ever be anything like PvE warzones introduced? PvP warzones are a great quick combat fix for those who like PvP but as a strictly PvE player, I find my,"log in and do something quick" options lacking. I'd like a similar option to log-in, queue up, and know no matter how bad it is, I'm only in it for 15 mins. I'm thinking something akin to Rift's rifts and zone invasions or other multiplayer game's survive mode.
  15. Are there plans to add a mentoring/sidekicking feature? It's becoming more and more frustrating by the day trying to keep pace with friends who have different play styles. It's also making it more difficult to consider asking people to play as the best I can realistically do is provide moral support until the 40's. It's a feature that allows higher level players to match the level of lower level ones to prevent the reduction of game rewards, complete trivialization of content and most importantly, allow friends to play with each other. The alternatives, not playing so you don't outlevel your friends or keeping alts in the same class, are an aggravation to those of us coming from games that had the feature about a decade ago. EQ2 and City of Heroes have it if you want first hand examples. I'm especially fond of the present EQ2 version as it allows you to change your level independently through "chrono masters" and even has an associated reward system.
