  1. Same Issue Class: Inquisitor Planet: Balmorra Quest: well.. I was suposed to recover the artifact from that vault... i've dealt with the undefecting and the serum.. Ticket status: Open, no reply.
  2. I've gone back and read every singe post in this tread..... and now I have a headache! mostly, you are all (yes, all) going in circles when there is one simple truth we can not avoid: why are we arguing? can't we all just agree that we would like to have this feature and let the bioware employees do their job at figuring out how it will be implemented? it's not like they are gonna do exactly what we want them to.... But I've said my piece in a previous post (and I've reiterated it in this post), so I acknowledge that I am merely repeating myself. Have a nice and wonderful day
  3. truthfully, I was hoping you could perhaps elaborate on your proposed points since you seemed to disagree with my escrow Idea. (but my opinion stands: those credits are not held hostage). But I'll give it a try: enforce an escrow cap - by putting everything in escrow once a sub becomes a pref - or by putting everything in escrow that goes above the cap or make it sub only (^but everything on this tiny list has already been said, so it really does not contribute anything) that's mostly all I got, besides, the only thing we can do is request a feature, it is not up to us do decide how something is implemented. PS: I agree with you that the credit restrictions should remain PPS: I suppose I don't really have anything to contribute here (sorry... I guess, I'll just take my leave then)
  4. truthfully I disagree with the points you made (that, or I just don't understand what you mean) - if it is for subs only..... why do we need a credit cap again? - would this work like escrow then? - wait.... what? I'd rather not have that, thank you. I like the idea of Legacy Bank Credits as a storage so that I don't spend more than I want to (also to prevent GTN 'accidents') also, (the way I understand your writing) you have now completely circumvented the escrow cap (that presumably exists to prevent credit sellers) Sorry, but I can not sympathize with Johnny in this scenario, he put those credits in storage for safe keeping and he will get them back when he re-subscibes (or uses escrow packs) If I, as a sub, could willingly put credits in escrow, I would be happy... but I can't. I really don't see it the same way as you do: those credits are not kept hostage, they are in a savings account (granted, it does not actually function like a RL bank). so, I guess we are just not on the same wavelength on this issue (sorry I guess ? ) (*disclamer: to avoid any miscommunication, no sarcasm was used to write this post. however, i did try to use a spell check.... thank you)
  5. I would also like to see credits added to the Legacy bank.... maybe if they added a credit cap (that is equal to the credit cap for toons) and anything put into the bank that goes above the cap gets put into escrow?
  6. not in group Finder but I did need to find a group for this one the rackhoul event, more specifically the {[Heroic 4] Fungal corruption} I find myself a group looking for a 4th member, they are in another instance so I have to switch, as soon as I load in they are already fighting a big mob and have aggroed a pack as well...... not a good sign as we all die ( I apologise for not healing since I hadn't been able to orient myself properly yet and there where several groups of people around) we go in again before everyone is a full health, I get shouted at for heals: Heal me (swear word), HEALS!!!, HEAL GOD DAMNIT!!!..... it's annoying because I am already spamming heals on him, but he still dies, *sigh*, I rez him but he only revives after combat ends and our other team mate instantly pulls another group of mobs.... two others respec to do Healing, we now only have one dps and he still dies! (plus everything takes forever to die) both the DPS and the chain puller leave the group without finishing the heroic and without saying a word, to be honest, I was glad to see them go! my remaining teammate respecs to DPS and we down a rhackhoul blight (one of them mobs with a silver-gold star) and a pack of silvers, with me face-tanking and healing though all the damage..... who was the '**** healer' again? had a laugh about that when it was all done naturally I added the kind-DPS to my friends list
  7. hey, has anyone else (with the same bug) noticed that if you open the apearance designer your toons eyes change to a random colour? it happens to me at least, even when I click 'reset apearance' it's weird! also: Give me back my bright blue eyes!!!
  8. well, if you are dead you can still warn others of what's gonna happen (like incoming adds for example)
  9. from what I understand you enjoy the story aspect of this game the most, so here are my two cents (or credits ) Many characters at once: - while leveling many characters at the same time can get confusing, not just from a story stand point (aka: wait.. what was I doing here again? what is his/her motivation to do this??) but also from a more technical standpoint, it becomes harder to learn a good rotation (ex: Tank rotation vs Heal rotation, Sniper vs sentinel rotations). the way you play differs per class and advanced class. - on the other hand, you can easily switch to an other character if you have a moment in your story, or general gameplay, where you want to do something else or you just get bored. - advice: try to at least finish a chapter at a time with each character to minimize potential confusion (aka: get your current toon to the end of a chapter before making a new toon. or try to stop at a point in the story where you think you can pick it up again, at the end of a planet) vs One at a time: - When you level one character at a time, you will have enough time to become comfortable with your rotation, and lessen your chances of making (small) mistakes. - however, with this play style you can't easily switch to a new/other toon if you become bored with the story/gameplay. you, in essence, 'force' youself to finish chapter 3 (and possibly makeb/rishi/yavin4 as well) before you can make a new toon. - advice: start with a character you think you will enjoy most, but, if you realy dislike the gameplay don't be aftraid to switch toons (or even make a new one) it can be very easy to get stuck in a 'must finish this' mindset when you dislike the story (at least, I was ). General advice: 1 - most important to remember when leveling a toon is to have tons of fun, if you think that the fun factor is below aceptable levels, then switch toons, change up your play style, try something new. 2 - don't be afraid of making mistakes, or trying new things. if you want to try something you haven't done before but you are afraid of disapointing others or making a fool out of yourself in group content, say that you are new, tell them you would welcome tips and/or advice. 3 - lastly: Flashpoints are not scary, they can be fun too. despite that, don't feel pressured into doing things you dislike, or simply don't want to do (see advice 1 ). I hope that you have tons of fun Good Hunting out there
  10. +1 support for this idea! maybe, untill this feature gets included, we can make a 'like' it thread on the forums (or something?) maybe some kind of top 5 strongholds for each server... hmm... should have thought this one out more first....
  11. and another lovely chapter to keep me entertained on a (dreary) monday, I love your work and can't wait for the next page! *gives Ilayas a hug*
  12. hey everyone, thanks for all the lovely inspiration for my own toons, but I don't think I'm gonna keep lurking here I find clicking little links annoying on my tablet (where I used to read this thread, great fun, despite some of the massive pictures ). I'm just not that fond of clicking on links, so most of the time I don't bother. bye *snif*
  13. "context".... m'kay.... sure, I wonder..... maybe the game relies on 'suspension of disbelief' ? or: back from the dead, not quite dead, only mostly dead. overall: Death is Cheap Please be careful what you write, because now that you said that I can't read.... I no longer have to! so, I really should say thanks! .... but I won't, because I usually get pissed off at people who make assumptions like that. you could have tried to clarify what you are saying, because, if my reply does not make sense to you, why should your reply make sense to me? clearly it's not clear to me what you mean. but since I (apparently) can't read... maybe you should spell it out to me... clearly? (in bullet-points?) Also: ^ unnecessary, or where you trying to be funny?
  14. I always heard it as: Marr: the emperor is Dead (to me)! the 'to me' is, ofcourse, implied oh, and just because I'm annoying I'll throw this in here: (please take note of the second meaning, i've underlined it for easy viewing) * insert maniacal laugh here *
  15. I wish I could draw like that... *dreamy sigh*
