  1. well said, they don't care so play with it or leave it. 2nd choice for me, we take time to discuss there and bw never answer about what they wanted to do when they decided this or this.
  2. I'm asking for change about this for months but BW never answer and which means they don't care. Sorcerer madness is broken even if you can run more than 700+ dps during wz it's just broken, the way you have to play to achieve it. Personatly I don't care at all too, since I know I'm playing my free month now, and with no change for 1.3 about this I decided to not pay one more cent for this joke.
  3. Well i'm starting to think the same, they trully prefer to nerf everything instead of giving a buff when and where it's needed. Before they have finished to nerf everything and hope for a good balance in the end, most of the player will have left the ship.
  4. that's it you start to understand. against garbage, if you play fine, you can make twice the dps they do. but try with good powertech and marauder, the good one, playing well like you play the sorcerer. the thing is with rated wz coming, good team will need good dps with good survability and for that sorcerer is very low compared to sin, pt or marau.
  5. Or maybe I see it's limits compared to others dps classes. That's not just fantasy, when I can do 600 dps others marauders or powertech can do easy 750and when i success to do 700+ they already are at 850 close to 900 dps in wz with more damage taken and less death taken.... That's it marauders or powertech out dps us with better survability, but again that's only when you play against or with good powetech or marauder ,not the randoms one. But if you compare the random sorcerer to the random powertech or marauder, all of them are just low dps. A player playing his classes correctly can often do twice or more the dpsthat the random player will do.
  6. Well the last time I played on pts, relic and adrenals were disabled in wz, It never happened for me to pass over 600 dps when actualy on live I often hit 600 + So... we will see when they repair adrenal or relic for wz.
  7. 37K Kills there ( so basicly 2x the experience you have with the 15K kills you claim to have ), and I tell you sorcerer's dps sucks compared to marauders, tank:assassin, powertech. But I precise all classes have to be played by good and well equiped players or it's not possible to compare them, a good played sorcerer will out dps any others classes unde equiped or not properly played, but not because of the classes but because of the player playing them. Now again, sorcerer cannot try to compete with good played marauders/pyrotech/assassin:tank all of them will be doing more damage and will have better burst and will have more survability. And by far, something around 100 + dps and something like 2/3x more damage taken for 2/3 less death because they are more easy to heal and do not recquire yourself to comit suicide to start dps again. So since they do not intend to nerf thoses classes, which is good, we absolutly need a boost to be able to compete with them and be usefull for a team based ranked wz. People knowing how much I can dps may say " what he want more power, but wait he still out dps everyone most of the time.." The fact is I compare my dps job to others classes played by good people and it apears sorcerer have no arguments to offer to a team compared to powertech, maurauder, assassin/tank. Not because I don't play the class as I should but rather because the class offer less opportunity compared to others dps classes.
  8. This kinda look like 31 madness dps, but with free cast and healer to heal the ennemies it's more around 700 dps.

It's was the 4-5K x5 aoe every 9 sec or less... that made sorcerer "op" pre 1.2 so 2-3 sorcerer with deathfield + the chain light were able to almost decimate 3-5 people in less than 20 sec when now they won't decimate more than 2. Personatly I hope either way they will let the force regen/cost at it's now but with boost damage and dots and change how they work; or they should change nothing with damage but allow us to be not out of force so fast with madness. I both cases we will end doing more damage.
  10. Already done the 5k medals even I did 6K with madness and I still don't understand how. But I agree it's very rare and only happens against under equiped player. Most of the time it's more 4-4,5K. You may out dps a madness but only if nobody focus you every time you apear near someone which in this case, the loss of dps will be more important for you than it will be for a madness. But I must says I have seen, sometimes some 31 light doing 700 to 800 dps but it was rare and only because they were not focused enough. The same guys in the next wz was always instant focus and did the half; today they play madness... Personatly when I see a 31 light or even 20+ sorcerer I jump on him because I know he will have 15% less damage reduction to my dots and with 1 interect 1 cc he will be dead. Sorcerer are just the free kill class even for a sorcerer... With the power to cast a lot of aoe damage with critic around 4K-5k they are just too much dangerous to let them pla as they wish, but they are very easy to stop and kill. What is the max dps you did post 1.2 in wz and what is the average dps you have in wz ? I'm curious about how much dps you may have.
  11. As a sorcerer dps, the job you have in wz is to cover zone by killing peoples. So the sats interesting isn't the heal per second, nor the amount of damage absorbed but the dps. The objectiv will come along if you will people trying to take the point. it's not like if we are tank and can keep safe a zone while being heal. we are there to do some damage ... we are dps not tank neither heal ( at least in this thread ) I'm sorry to tell you that but people with 15k objectiv and 200dps are for me less usefull than people with maybe only 6-10K but 600 dps. The difference can be explained because ranged dps have to stay out of the door or prefer sometimes dps the heal except the one currently carrying the ball. Even if personatly I have no problem doing 20K with the ball and doing 500 dps. If objectiv can be mesured partialy with the score at the end at least it show the dps and how you had been usefull to controll by sending him back to his respawn. Dps during wz is a good way to compare some classes specialy when you play in the same guild and cover the same point, so you can see in same situation, some class are realy more powerfull than others. If a team have the choice between a good powertech or a good marauder or a good sorcerer if the 3 are geared the same and played very well, trust me they won't take the sorcerer if they have the choice. Simply because we are too easy to kill and we dps less than the 2 others. Now again i'm talking about good player, well geared. because myself I can dps more than lot of marauders or powertech, "actualy", but with 1.3 it will be even more difficult due to the difference between the classes. The fact is we don't have a lot of big cooldown for the dps and the dot are puttable all the time, so adrenal and relic today may be more usefull than you think to sorcerer than they are to pyrotech and marauder, both have better burst ability and better dot without already. The only wz we way be usefull is huttbal with the grap, but seriously a team with 2 marauder some juggernaut will jump everywhere and will be able to provide better help. That's the hard true we worth less than some classes well played. There will always be some player to say it's not true and thinki they are worth than others, well if they like to think so. You will see when you will play against good player only. Atm, for 1 good player you have easy 10 random one ( under equiped, or reroll, or just people who doesn't care and only search to spam 1234 ) so it's not hard to think you play well and the class is overpowered.

  13. Who care about survability, sorcerers lack burst and good damages, not more survability. Actually sorcerer madness can go from 450 to 750+ dps during wz. Most of my time I'm around 500-600 , rarely I can go over 750. Now on pts even with full augment slot this time I cannot go more than 550! What an amazing patch 1.3. We deal even less damage, when on live I can try to do as much damage as marauder or powertech, I loss everytime on the pts and not just by 50 or 100 dps easily with 200 dps difference. Just to say that the actual unactivation of the relic and the end of the damage adrenals will hurst sorcerers a lot more than it hurst Pt or Marau. Just my 2 cent for having test the current 1.3 with a sorcerer full hero with full augment slot. When today it was possible to hit around 4500/5000 damage every 3min you won't go more than 3500/4K on the next patch. Thanks again bw. Those who think sorcerer ar just fine as are, are certainly not lvl 100 with 1000 wz win and even more played since 1.2 Me I'm, and I had been able to compare top sorcerers ( not me only , but I'm a port of the top dps sorcerers of the french pvp server ) to top player from others classes. Let me tell you that, top sorcerer compared to top powertech or marauder or even assassin/tank is just ********. They can damage with lot of more burst and when we will have to suicide severals time to have a good dps, they won't have to do so much, powertech may need to die too but twice less. They can easily outdps us by 100 or 150 when you hit 750 they are at 900 you think you did a good party at 650 , nah they are at 750 dps with 2x damage taken and 2x death taken. Do you think this is normal that dps classes cannot dps the same amount of damage at least ? Those who think that you can surpass the dps of marauder or powetech, it can be true against random ones, but against very good one, you will have to pass your turn. Today we have some kind of burst due to adrenals and relic, tomorow with 1.3 nothing left but others class will not suffer as we will suffer because the base damage of the hit they use will still be higher. Me I have nothing against the fact that sorcerer should be condisered like an assist dps classe, but if so they should give us the abilies to control more often than actualy. They want us to be a top dps like others, than they first must change the force cost or regeneration ability and secondly they must bost a little or change some dot mechanic. But I understood since I saw 1.3 patch, that they actualy don't care of what can say some player, only their precious stats count. During this time subcribes are terminated but the problem is not their choices since their statistic prove them, they are right. So to finally andser the question of the op, the problem with the dps is the lack of burst. Is that we have to die to redo damage, is that our dot does'nt stack if we reaply them before the last tick. I would say today sorcerer to be top dps you have to play very very very well or to be with random specialist or marauder or sin assassin, tomorrow with 1.3 , this will be the end you may manage to be the top sorcerer but sniper, marauder, powertech, sins will be better if correctly played. For exemple a not so bad but not one of the best sorcerer I know, with often 450-500 dps, rerolled powertech, now he is often between 600 to 850 dps... Nothing strange ? Apparently for BW nothing is ridiculous tthere. More dps for medium and heavy armor than light, more survability ( which is normal for me due to the armor ), and less problem to manage the stamina/force/heat/rage or what ever it is called. At 1.3, with the nerf of the burst and the only wz adrenal left, which boost defense, all sorcerers will burn their keboard trying to kill a healer. Personatly my 6 month subs end in a few days with 1 month left free, I do not think about resubinjg with the only class I play left, in this situation at 1.3 Even if they realy put swtor in free to play ( as of the lead said they think about it ) I would stop playing this game, which is a bad joke in numerous points in pvp. The more they change it the worst it's become.
