  1. This isn't so bad, think about the poor people that still visit and post in a dead games forums https://forums.dust514.com/ and still hold out hope for the release of either a port of the game to a relevant console or a new game that is similar to the old game. It's been a year since the game's servers went offline and these people have had little to no updates from the developers but yet they are still there, clinging to the hope they have that the developers won't screw them...again.
  2. Exactly, you have to invest your life into the game, and i just don't have that kind of time anymore. I Was a CEO of a corp in DUST 514 and was involved in the Planetary Conquest side of the game (very competitive) basically played the game for about 8 hours a day everyday for 4 years ( it was my job LOL). DUST was on the PS3 but the successor will be PC.
  3. It actually became "free to play" not too long ago (basically an extended free trial and very limited).
  4. LOL, yeah it really is a great universe with a lot of colorful people, TBH i never really got into EVE myself, i did play it but only to manage my corporation in DUST 514...wich was an awesome game BTW. I'm just checking out this game till Project Nova is in alpha to which i will certainly be invited to play. Created this account 2-3 years ago but computer at the time could not handle the graphics, just came back yesterday and decided to pay for a month, saw that game was going to be down today for update but still payed yesterday and i'm cool with just chilling till it's back up, downloading some games onto my ps3 and playing Dreadnought closed beta on my PS4, so i'm cool with chilling and being patient for the game to come back online.
  5. Try EVE Online https://www.eveonline.com/
  6. For those that are bored and looking for some entertainment, here is a good video of some FPS gaming.
  7. If you were not complaining then the statement was not directed towards you..DUH
  8. no, in this situation i would not try something that i know for a fact will not work as it would be a waste of my time, and everyone who is waiting to get back on the game. in the situation of a peripheral not functioning correctly a reboot could help but with something like a program running or the code that runs that program or a network issue with the router, i do not think it to be necessary to reboot the whole computer when the issue lies somewhere else....use your brain.
  9. Not trolling, just want people to stop complaining and thinking the solution is easy and a simple fix when it's not. if you don't do this work for a living then keep your mouth shut. that is all.
  10. I wish i could like others posts, oh well, +1 to you.
  11. how can people write a program for a mac if it already comes in a package that says mac, makes no sense...unless you mean they bought a program which specified mac compatibility and then tried installing on windows (but that would mean they did not write the program themselves).
  12. I too am a tech, and still you are an idiot who truly does not know what he is talking about, but please go on...
