  1. Great thread Hallow. Time to brush off the dust and get to hunting. Post updates for 2.0!
  2. I'll think about coming back if BioWare: A) Fixes Backstab to work from behind the target as intended. B) Renames Backstab to Sidestab.
  3. Hidden Strike > Shiv > Debilitate > Backstab (You must be behind the target) > Reposition Slightly > Backstab Again (You must be behind the target)... If Hidden Strike worked and the target is unable to move (due to the knock down of Hidden Strike and Debilitate then how in the hell am I not in position for Backstab to hit? If this had happened once or twice I might chalk it up to lag or some other minor error but it happens several times per WZ since patch 1.2. As a result (there are other issues but having our main attack not work 80% of the time was the last straw) I have unsubscribed from ToR. I will check back in a year to see if things run smoother. Good luck, 99 out.
  4. Well I have to retract my original reply. On patch day I was doing 300-350k per match easy. Today I cannot break 100k and I'm in the same gear. If this is working as intended I will be leaving the game.
  5. If you think we've been nerfed then you're doing it wrong. I'm doing more damage in WZs and getting more killing blows then before 1.2. Also, Sleep Dart doesn't give full resolve now. Bonus! I can now kill two players by sapping one and then re-sapping when they fair escape.
  6. This is what I told BioWare as my reason: I waited years for this game to come out with high expectations. BioWare knows how to make great Star Wars games yet SWToR is not a great Star Wars game for reasons that are too numerous to list here but I will name a few. I'll check back in a year and will happily stay if you: Fix: PvP; Ilum is the biggest joke. We're expected to believe it's this big epic battle but the vehicles are shooting ONLY at the ground and the hills while players circle around the center area to pick up armaments. The buff from Ilum? You must be kidding. 400% increase in valor which is a useless stat in the game. Storylines; It's hard to get into the story when the graphics are messed up. IE companions naked when they should be fully clothed in the middle of a cut scene. Other times companions speak when they aren't even part of the cut scene. If you're going to tell a story (which by the way was your foundation for this game, the one thing that was going to put you ahead of other mmos) then learn what the term SUSPENSION OF BELIEF means. Crafting; You put level 50 mods on the venders but gave only level 49 to Cybertech... Rude. Space combat... what space combat? The list goes on and I would be happy to give more detail. Feel free to call me for further discussion. 808-XXX-XXXX As I said at the beginning, this is not a great Star Wars game. It's a poorly made game that feels rushed with a Star Wars skin on it. If this had been another game without the Star Wars backdrop do you think it would have been successful?
  7. Don't get me wrong, I love the traps. It's constantly being pulled into them and stunned that sucks. For lack of a better analogy, it's like a priest mind controlling someone off of the cliff in AB. It doesn't take talent and you get a kill. There are some alternatives to having the traps to so much damage: Anyone who gets into the acid gets a reduced accuracy debuff due to vision issues. Anyone who gets burned gets a debuff that reduces damage and healing due to dealing with the pain. Just off the top of my head.
  8. Lower the damage these do. Spending 15 minutes getting pulled / pushed and stunned in these with only one way to counteract = stupid.
