Just how much money have those two "horrible" games made Blizzard/Activision? More than Crysis, Shank, Skate, SSX, Mirror's Edge, Kingdoms of Amalur and Burnout combined for EA.

Your entire stance is flawed, because it presumes that the only point of the game is to level to 50 as fast as possible. Many players prefer to enjoy the story rather than race to 50 and miss out on stuff. If your only goal is hitting 50 as fast as possible, then you need to play something other than an MMO.

I've run my BH in a healing role a couple of times. The Combat Support Cylinder/Rapid Shot combo is great for healing while also allowing the heat to dissipate so you can switch back to the scan. Because you essentially use the same mechanics as you do for DPS (just different skills in the rotation), it's fairly seamless to switch between the two roles as needed.

For "normal" MMOs, it is standard to have each character playing on one server. Also, because MMOs such as TOR have robust guild systems, having one character playing on four different servers would break that social aspect of the game. There are also other reasons, including the different server types in the game, load balancing, etc. You can always roll up a new character on another server.

While I'm not currently in Tennessee (presently freezing in Alaska), I am from Chattanooga and still proudly call Tennessee home.

There are two places that you can easily talk to your companions that I know of: cantinas and your ship. There might be more, but those are the only two I've used so far.

That explains why I couldn't find them during beta. I was looking for a Screenshots folder in the SWTOR directory itself rather than in the %user% directory...

I tried that this morning, and the play button was not lit up. Less than 30 seconds later, the email showed up in my inbox, and I was then able to log in and create my first character. Unfortunately this happened as I was leaving for work, so I haven't had time to actually play yet

That was basically how I played my BH in the beta. Since Mako can do a sizeable amount of healing, it frees the BH to focus on DPS more. On a side note, I wound up running a 4-man heroic quest with two SIs from my guild, and Mako healed all of us without incident...

How could they have ordered at the "beginning of July" if preorders began on July 21?
